Upon arriving at the Amarillo location, the initial seating process was a bit unclear. Although I requested a table, I was repeatedly directed to different areas including the bar, a booth, and a side table. After asking several times, I was eventually seated at a proper table. Once seated, I was greeted by Gabby, who welcomed me with a warm smile and a positive attitude. While my usual server was not working and experiences can sometimes vary, I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service Gabby provided. Overall, Gabby's professionalism and friendly demeanor made the visit much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend requesting her section when dining at the Amarillo location.

Twin Peaks Sundae - Brownie w/ 2 scoops of ice cream, caramel sauce and I added a shot of skrewball as the menu suggests.

Went at 11pm on Tuesday night, they're open until midnight, which is great. Ordered the grilled rainbow trout. They were out of rice but offered any side substitute. I went with house salad w honey mustard. Their honey mustard is good. I really liked the fish. Liked how they grilled the asparagus. Our server seemed beat down. I get it, it's almost closing time. She got everything right except charging for the salad. She promptly removed the charge. The boneless wings my hub ordered were good, but one of them were undercooked and the fries were undercooked...still oily and limp. I struggled with 3 or 4 stars. If the servers attitude was more personable, I'd go with 4. The fries undercooked was just a miss.

    Dirty glass

I just witnessed someone truly horrific. I was served a beer in a dirty glass. I said something about it. My beer was replaced. They pored the dirty beer I was originally served and gave it to another patron. The guy he dirty glasses rim was wiped out. Not washed! Then filled with beer and given to another person. TRULY HORRIFIC. THE BLACK GIRL BEHIND THE BAR SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK AT RESTAURANTS.

Scantily clad women, cold beer, great wings, what's not to like? By now you should know that Twin Peaks is a concept restaurant where the waitresses are all dressed in fairly revealing clothing. But it also turns out that they have a great selection of really cold beer. And to top it all off, the wings are pretty awesome. You've got a bar area with plenty of TVs if that's what you're feeling. Or you can opt for a table with TVs spread out around the restaurant. I very much so enjoyed my visit. The service wasn't bad (it wasn't great either but no biggie), and the food and beer were great. At some point in the night (I was there on a Friday) they had a DJ start playing music. So, I thought that was a little odd but it didn't really detract as it wasn't too loud. Ultimately it was a fun outing with some friends and I'll come back at some point.

So the saving grace of this place is, in fact, twofold. For one, the beer here is ridiculously cold. That's great on a hot day. Secondly, Shaylee and manager Tish offer extremely excellent customer service. I have been to another TP close to my office in Coppell, TX, and the service there and here is lackluster, for the most part. The food at both places: meh. I have been trying to maintain a pescatarian eating regimen for the most part, which at TP means either ordering a salad, some fried appetizers, or the fish and chips dinner. I ordered the fish and chips here two nights in a row; as you can see, each dinner was like four fish sticks on top of room temperature and undercooked fries. For my third night here (and I keep coming back because coworkers), I broke down and ordered boneless wings. Admittedly, they weren't bad. The Nash sauce was spicy with good flavor, while the Spicy Thai Chili sauce brought a nice combo of sweet and spicy. The fries on the side, though, room temperature and undercooked again. At least that kept me from eating them. Great cold beer and rare glimpses of good service, eh, I might come back under peer pressure but never on my own.

KJ was our server and she did amazing! Very sweet and attentive. Our beers stayed filled and our food came out correctly. Will definitely ask for her section again!

Lunch special and the Cubano Sandwich rules, very good. Good in house brews as well. Bartenders were super attentive.

Great afternoon stop! On our way back to Tulsa from Tucson and I wanted to try something different…read moreand Amarillo was our target to stop. Nestled amongst the chain restaurants right along I-40 was this gem. It has been there for a number of years and the moment you walk in you get an old west tavern feel. We opted to sit in the bar area after the booths were a bit cramped for my circular shape as this place was built in an era where the tables don't slide! The bar area was open and comfortable. I ordered a happy hour beer and my wife got a margarita. We opted out of any appetizers but I was very tempted to order the house chips. I ordered the hand battered chicken fried steak with cheesy grits and a salad. My wife had the smoked ribeye with roasted corn and a salad. Both were from the lunch menu so the portions were appropriate for the time of day. Our salads were nicely sized, fresh and a perfect companion to the main course. We were served rolls with the salads. By the way my wife cleaned them up I presume they were pretty good! The CFS was tender, well-seasoned and covered in a nicely flavored gravy. It included two slices of buttered white toast as well. Very Texas! The cheesy grits were a nice side as there was just the right amount of cheese to grits ratio. My wife's smoked ribeye looked good but she said it lacked a bit on flavor. She split the roasted corn with me and it was just about perfect. The service was attentive but not intrusive and overall I really liked the vibe. It was lively but not Texas Roadhouse lively. You could have a discussion without yelling. Music level was reasonable. Of course, it might be different packed with patrons on a Friday night. I give this place a strong 7 out of 10. If I'm ever back in Amarillo I'll definitely come back and try a dinner steak and other options. Plus the bar would be a perfect afternoon hang to drink a beer and watch a game on one of their several large TV's.

I really wasn't thrilled with the place. My husband liked it more than I did for sure. Everything…read morewas carbs galore. I picked the shrimp and grits . Eh I liked the grits . He got the coffee rubbed steak which surprisingly did not taste like coffee. As a coffee hater I thought it was pretty good. The twisted potato chips to me was the best thing yeah carbs I know lol . Restaurants really need to get with the times and have something on the menu less carbs other than a just a boring salad . Salads can be awesome with toppings. Do that!! Would I personally come again I wouldn't! Hubs might . I will be looking for a better restaurant next time for sure. To me it suffers from the same thing the Big Texan does it's touristy . You got to back it up . You didn't. Service the waitress wasn't all there oh yeah there was a hair in our cheesecake. I swear they just took the top off and gave it back . We made the best of it but NEVER AGAIN!!
