Came to get a drink and an appetizer at the bar and got served by a rude waitress that seemed obviously annoyed that we came in. When we got acknowledged after 5 min my partner and I only got one menu until we asked for another. We ordered happy hour drinks and she charged us for premium liquor. After trying to correct the issue she argued with me and said I should have asked for house liquor. Which she did not specify nor informed us of the alternate option. But shouldn't she ask if I wanted premium liquor since it's still happy hour? If you come to this location, don't get served by kiara/kyara or however you spell her name. When I asked why there we weren't provided the happy hour menu she rebuttals with nothing but a expressionless face and shoulder shrug. Absolutely tasteless and horrible service. We arrived around 3:00 PM and had our order placed by 3:07 PM. Nearly an hour later--at 3:57 PM--we still had not received our food and were forced to cancel and leave. The bartender came over twice with the same empty line that our food would be out "shortly." That was clearly not true. "Shortly" turned into almost an hour of waiting with absolutely nothing to show for it. To make matters worse, at least two tables who arrived after us were served their meals before we got anything. That is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of organization and basic customer service. When we finally decided to cancel, the manager suddenly appeared claiming our food was "ready." After making us wait nearly an hour, that excuse was too little, too late. What's even more telling is that the manager only told us not to pay for our drinks after we made it clear we would be leaving a review. That says everything about how they handle issues--reactive, not proactive. For anyone questioning whether this actually happened, I am attaching my receipt as proof that I was there and a photo of our drinks with the bartender and manager talking in the background. This place is wildly overrated. Poor service, terrible communication, and zero regard for customers' time. If I could leave zero stars, I would--but unfortunately Yelp doesn't allow that. Upon entering the Twin Peaks, we were greeted and were seated right away. Our server was in training and her named was Dollie. She had good customer service. For appetizer, we ordered nachos on which we ordered for It to have smothered cheese and it barely had any cheese and was very salty. I would not get it again. For the main course we ordered a total of 36 wings and for the sauces we got ranch, BBQ and blue cheese. We asked to take some sauce to go on which we just wanted a container to fill the sauces we have on the table already. When we received our bill we were charge about $14 for sauces only. Finally one comes and I ordered a beer and asked for a menu. Did not really get the welcoming feeling here. Place was at least half full. I ordered the Avocado smash burger and came with fries. Beer was cold as advertised but a lot of ice in the beer. Food was very good! First bartender didn't really check in. Second bartender then asked me if I wanted another beer. I then was switched to second bartender. Going to be around for 4 nights. Would have come back because beer and food were good. Place looked clean. I came to this place to watch the Ravens and Kansas chief game with my friend. We ordered beers, BBQ wings with fries and mozzarella cheese balls. The bbq wings were a little saucy. The food is good but the time it takes to get the foood is terrible. The kitchen staff needs some guidance to say the least. We sat at the bar this time because last time we sat at a table the service was so bad we almost got up and left and we are pretty patient people because I work in the industry as well but it was so slow and just zero checking in to make sure everything was okay. Today we went at 2:30 and there were maybe 6-7 tables and like were like people at the bar and the food STILL took 40 minutes to come and we just ordered 6 wings and a turkey avocado smash. Came to twin peaks last night to celebrate our life accomplishments with our friends. Server seemed great, she stated we were her "only table". Once the first order drink order was put in that was it, it all went south from there. She didn't care to walk around the table to get orders. My first drink order was so beyond simple (fever free grapefruit soda and mint leaves) came out grapefruit juice. No big deal but for her she just didn't seem like she cared so I had to wait an hour for an another drink. Our app came and we waited 6min to see if she would bring us silverware and plates... nope. I got up and served everyone their plates and silverware. The last straw when the guys needed beer. At this point I said I will be that person because she was no where to be found. I went to the manager and said we have no idea where she is, I had to serve my table plate and silverware. I am still waiting for waters and a drink and the boys are waiting for beer oh and wait the other half of the table didn't order food yet and we have already been there for an hour. This is what the manager said to me as he chuckled, "these girls are entertainers... not really skilled in serving" word by word from a manager at twin peaks cypress creek. all of our mouths dropped. Manager saw that our table was missing beer for an about 30min as a manger you are cross trained correct? So go behind the bar and help your bartenders pour a beer at least. But no, he kept actually putting the bartenders down and sticking up for his server. The manager was making sure everything was great and gave us a percentage off however the server still wasn't present. I waited 30min for water after asking two servers because once again ours was not found. At this point because of the managers comment, I feel bad for that server because she clearly was never trained. At first, thought it was because we were not young & attractive, but realized when a group of young people (eventually) were seated, they were pretty much treated the same. The food came, one order was correct, one was in correct and the other two had issues of being cold. In all honesty, the manager on duty, I believe her name was Kiki, came over to talk to us about our concerns. She was way beyond professional and took every word to heart. How did we know? Her facial expressions & intent listening. I told her I was ready to say never about coming back to this location, but because of her, I would give it another try. My friends and I are in the service industry ourselves. We come here a lot to watch the UFC fights just because we live close by and Hott Leggz is usually a little too packed. Makenzie is the best! There are a couple other anomalies that typically give decent service... the only thing that kind of sucks is that some of the girls are too focused on being on their phones. What a disappointment of a Twin Peaks restaurant in Broward County Me and my girlfriend decided to dine at this location after her doctors appointment and that was the biggest mistake we did for our lunch date The service and the staff here were horrible on every scale...We placed a steak order and mind I tell you, there wasn't that many people in the restaurant and we sat there waiting for our meals for over 45 minutes while everyone else was getting their food. All we kept getting from our bartender was that our food will be out shortly and shortly turned into many more shortly's I eventually decided to tell our bartender that we were leaving and then the incompetent manager shows up with more excuses to follow after waiting for over 45 minutes. I have been to Twin Peaks before. My partner said that I can look, but I can't touch. I have a feeling if I tried, somebody would twist my arm in ways that it's not supposed to be twisted. :) I know they are supposed to have the coldest beer. We had just flown into Fort Lauderdale and gotten into our hotel, and we saw that Twin Peaks was on DoorDash. I ordered a fried pickles for myself, and my partner and I split the mom's pot roast which I have had many times before.... The food came, and it was still a good temperature. I loved the pickles, they were crunchy, the pickles were not mushy, and they were not greasy at all. I liked the ranch dressing that they came with. There were so many, I could only eat about half of the container.. The Mom's pot roast with garlic mashed potatoes, we both loved. The one order was enough food to fill us both up . My partner was a farm girl, and is picky about her pot roast and mashed potatoes. She absolutely loved it, as did I. The pot roast was so tender, you could cut it with a plastic fork. The garlic mashed potatoes, you could definitely taste the garlic, and they were a little bit lumpy, but in a good way. You could tell that they were made with real potatoes. The meal was so good, we were both scraping our plates afterward to get the last little bits. thank you once again for a fantastic meal! UPDATE: we loved the pot roast so much last night, we ordered it again tonight. Once again, One order was plenty of food for both of us. Both nights, after I placed the order, I called the restaurant, asking them to add a second plate, and an extra set of silverware. The dust was thick. Food was mediocre and the waitress was more interested in telling her coworkers all about her apartment than taking our orders. There is nothing positive to say.
