The bartenders and waitstaff are equivalent to High Limit Blackjack Dealers. Jarrett took care of my every need and saw to my satisfaction. I ordered my favorite foods: Jack Daniels and cola in a tall glass with cherries, dinner rolls with real butter, Caesar salad, garlic spinach, roast duck, and Modelo Especial. The salad did not taste good and Jarrett took it off my bill without me having to ask. The duck tasted AMAZING. It was just so delicious. The skin was crispy, the meat was tender but cooked. What a clown show. I wasnt sure if our govt was running this; yep that bad! So sad. We went there last minute, booked a 815 at 720pm. Well we get there parked on floor 4, then made our way in. Easy enough. A 1.5 hr disaster with a very lax, " who gives two Fs staff". So lets start. It takes 15 min for a waiter to take our order. The hostess gave us water, made small talk to kill time. Great table off to side near bar. Great spot just terrible service with mediocre food. Definitely not the Seminole NYE Steakhouse. Well, bread came quick then start the clock. Gary walked over after 15 min waiting abd chatting. He apologized then said "Im sorry for the wait. you should know what want since you had time". We laughed it off. Send red flag. Well we gave him drink and app. Tick tok! 25 min. We sat waiting for drink and app. Then another 30 min wait for entree. We cancelled the order for entree. The waiter, G, said " or its the kitchen not me". OK. Great. But it WAS HIM when we didn't get our drinks. He said " og I forgot". He had a NY energy like he was doing us a favor by even waiting on us. As an older waiter, he seemed like he was consumed with smoizing with regulars and ignoring others. I went here with two friends. We were trying to book this restaurant during our trip for a while, How disappointed were we!! The waiter just drove us mad. I was drinking the water from the glass and he literally snatched from my mouth to refill it. I ordered a steak and was offered no condiments or sauces to go with it. My friend ordered lobster and complained that it was not cooked right, he ignored us. Once we had completed out meal the waiter was more interested in serving the new guests. I had a $100 celebration credit to use for a meal in a Caesars casino. It was going to expire and I forgot to use it when I was in Vegas so alas I had dinner at Farradays to not let it go to waste. Considering this is steakhouse in a Pompano casino my expectations were extremely low. When we arrived at our reservation time the hostess told me they were overbooked and it would be awhile so went down to the casino to kill time. We got called back about 40 mins later to be seated. The server took awhile to initally come over as it was clear they were slammed with many patrons doing the same as me (last ditch to use the annual celebration credit). We got some wine and ordered escargot, and French onion soup to start. They brought out some bread. The escargot was good very garlicy and drenched in butter. The French onion soup was also really tasty, piping hot with delicious melted cheese. For our entrees we both ordered steaks I had a filet ($65) and my BF got the ribeye ($65). We ordered a side of creamed spinach to share. My steak was undercooked but good. Both steaks had melted marrow butter on top. We agreed mine was the better of the 2. The side of creamed spinach was basically inedible. I'm confident creamed spinach at a hospital would have more flavor. The service, ambiance, and food quality does not equate to what they are charging. Their steaks are the same price point or more when compared to some of the top steakhouses in Boca and Farradays is no where near the same league. It's a good use of a cesars celebration credit as your only other option is the deli downstairs. Otherwise they might be ok for happy hour if your at the casino that early (thurs-sat). We were seated quickly, but wish I knew to ask for Casino view table as it was very nice and private. This is now on par with an Outback or chain casual steakhouse, and really can't be considered "high end" or even compared to NYY at Seminole Coconut Creek or Council Oak at Hard Rock. Average describes it best. Unless you're getting your meal comped or are dead-set on a steak dinner while at the casino, it's fine, but not worth going out of your way for. Had an experience with "Jack," the bartender, who was saving seats at the bar for "potential" high-rollers who "may" show up. Wouldn't let me have dinner at the bar for fear I would take up one of those seats "just in case" a Seven Stars card holder showed up for their free dinner and his nice tip. I've been to Farraddays several times over the years, and never thought anything bad of it. Seemed like a fine restaurant for a casino. However, my last visit here was one of the worst I've ever experienced. I was thinking the Caesar's/Harrah's acquisition would help the casino and dining, but I was wrong. Upon arrival, the restaurant wasn't very full and we got to our seats quickly. The waiter got our drink orders, which included old fashioneds. Look, I've had many old fashioneds over the years, some good, some bad, but these were by far the worst. There was tonic in it and the whole drink was clear with just an orange and cherry in it. No bitters. We asked if we could have them remade or just order something else. The waiter doubled down on the quality of the drinks and proudly told me that he made them himself instead of the bar tender. He also told me they had three shots each instead of two. He said he could resolve it by giving me another shot for the drink. He brings back clear liquid that tasted like some watered down tonic and weird clear rum. When I asked what it was he didn't respond and I just gave up on the whole endeavor to get a good drink here. The worst part of this meal was the wait for food. We quickly ordered one item each for the four of us. It took over an hour and a half from the time of ordering to get our food. The waiter didn't communicate with us at all and many tables around the restaurant were yelling and arguing with the waitstaff. It was a true disaster on a seemingly not that busy Friday night. After finally getting the waiter to acknowledge the food wasn't out, he said we were next and it took another thirty minutes. When we complained about the drinks and experience to the waiter, he told us look, life isn't fair sometimes. Sometimes life is good and sometimes it is bad. Oh thanks man! That really helps and makes up for the food experience at this fake upscale restaurant. Great advice. Once the food finally came, it was mediocre. I had chicken and lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster in the mac and cheese consisted of two specs of lobster like substance. Don't waste your time ordering that. My father really enjoys the seafood paella, so if you have a few hours to kill, that would be my recommendation for food. At the end of the meal, I asked to speak with the manager, the older bald gentleman, and he was completely unsympathetic and terrible. He wouldn't even acknowledge that the kitchen was backed up and our food took an hour and a half with no communication. I explained the drink situation and he did not care at all. He eventually agreed to comped the odd, not old fashioneds, which barely seemed to be enough as a response to the entire experience. Arrived on a Saturday night to use my last 7* Cekebration dinner. Having read the reviews here from 8 months to a year ago, I was nervous. Was seated immediately and water and bread arrived right away. Several different rolls in the bread basket. Took a little long for waiter to take my order but afterwards service was quick and excellent. Of course this is a casino steakhouse so prices are not value friendly but not outrageous either. Most expensive steak is $56 - way cheaper than you'll find in Las Vegas casino steakhouses. Ordered escargot, 16oz ribeye (that most expensive steak), garlic shrimp and baked potato add-ons. Escargot was excellent and the main meal arrived after I finished the appetizer. Steak was thinner than I thought for 16oz but plenty big enough. Potato was big and everything tasted great. It was ruined and I left 90% of it on the plate. The waiter never stopped by to check with me. The busboy took my plate when I asked for the check (I couldn't find the waiter) and never commented on the steak left on the plate. The steak probably would have been good if it hadn't been cooked into a dry, tasteless piece of leather... and the side dishes were terrific. But I would never risk a dinner here again. The food was good w/ fairly large portions so 2 people with us did share a special of the night chicken Marsala entree and wedge salad at our table , my spouse had the ala carte double cut pork chops entree cut thick with a side baked potato ($10 for a potato?! ) I had a catch of the day grilled grouper sandwich that came with steak fries (3 thick slices) . I debated giving this one two stars bc the value to quality ratio is completely askew-especially for a steakhouse. So let's call this a 2.5 star rating. Everything we tried had a Sysco foods vibe to it. The shrimp cocktail was sad looking and very small for the price (skip it!). The complimentary bread was an onion loaf. The Caesar salad was nothing special. My husbands steak was disappointing - overpriced for the quality. My airplane chicken was dry and super overpriced....it reminded me of-well-chicken I would have gotten on an airplane in the eighties (but in a larger portion). If you are at the casino, there are only two options on property so I guess that's why they seem to stay full of regulars. Farraddays was a pleasant surprise. Seemingly unassuming restaurant upstairs in the Isle Casino. Food was priced as expected for a mid to higher steakhouse. The espresso martini was probably my least favorite thing of the night but it was ok. The star of the night was definitely the beef short ribs and the garlic fries. The short ribs were extremely tender and the polenta and chard complemented it so well. The burger was solid but felt like it needed something to tie it all together (maybe a sauce or something crisp). Marcho our server was on point, friendly, attentive, and always around if needed. I noted it was a special occasion and initially it seemed as if the host was aware. He sat us in a section with a rude, sarcastic, and seemingly inexperienced waitress. "You know what you want to drink?" The service was so slow. She left bread crumbs on our table, I had to ask her to remove some dishes, and she looked as if we were inconveniencing her by asking. We asked the host to give us a different server. Our reservation was at 730 and we were not served our food until 822. Another table was seated, served, and departed before we got our order. When the food did arrive (cioppino, chopped steak, salmon) it was obvious it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Every single item was dry, overcooked, or literally burnt. We let the host know- Dominique- and he admitted the food was subpar. He offered to take off one meal and a free dessert. We attempted to eat our food but it was inedible. This was undoubtedly one of the worst "fine dining" experiences I've ever had, and as a celebratory meal no less. We decided to just leave the food and go somewhere else. We often visit this venue on a weekend night as we enjoy their live music in a romantic setting. One would never know they were nestled away in a casino. Always warm greetings from the gracious hostess Helen and Domonique the manager. As always the food was great! This evening we enjoyed Roast Duck as well as a Grilled Lobster Tail beautifully plated and served. My husband enjoyed every morsel as did I. Suggestions: If you order a vegetable it's enough for two. The Prime Rib is also an excellent choice. The baked potatoes are huge. The bread is great. The raisin as well as the pretzel bread are our favorites. Yes, it's a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. It's consistently good, service is top notch and the food is great! With that said , had a draft Stella, the keg obviously was way past its life. Had the clams and mussels, clams were again not good. You can't call it fine dining with waiters like Gary. I brought my mom here on Saturday 5/7 for a Mothers Day dinner. We asked how a couple of the items were and Gary goes on to explain that he doesn't know that because the staff only gets soup and salad. Our reservation was for 5:15pm. Gary had also told us about a skirt steak special. After inquiring about the lobster and short rib, and being shot down. I decided to go with the special. Gary then comes back to let us know it's sold out. How? The restaurant had just opened and wasn't even busy yet! What a joke. So I decided to go with the ribeye and asparagus, and my mom ordered the French dip. The menu lists crispy onions on the French dip and that it came with fries. My mom asked for extra crispy onions and to upgrade the fries to garlic fries. Instead, she received NO crispy onions, and regular fries. My steak was slightly undercooked from how I ordered but was still good. Gary was not the one to bring us our food. Our cocktails were finished from before the food arrived. We saw our waiter go to each of the tables next to us 4-5 times each but not us. Tried to get his attention and he ignored. Didn't even bother to come ask how everything was. Finally after about 45 minutes and the meals being done, and both of our cocktails and waters being done for quite a while, we see the hostess Coralie pass by and we asked her for a manager. She was very friendly and had Dominic come see us. We only told Dominic about the onions and fries and not being checked on for 45 minutes. My mom was taking half her sandwich to go so he brought her some onions for it. Gary then came to us asking what's going on what's the problem because Dominic wouldn't tell him. That was unprofessional of Gary, but we still answered and told him he left us hanging for over 45 minutes and never checked on anything and there was mistakes and we were without drinks. He told us he got very busy with 8 tables. Never apologized. Two tables down was a table with 2 ladies and he was frequently checking on them and a couple of his other tables that were in our vision. So the next time he came back, my mom asked him if there's something wrong or if we did something because he told us he got busy, so we just wanted to know why he chose to ignore and neglect us but still juggle the other tables. He yelled "SHEEEESH" then told my mom "you're looking way to much into this." Then the rest of the experience was just more attitude and rude facial expressions. After dessert, he came to the table and just paused a few seconds, it was very awkward, then said to me "you want the bill?" So I said yes. It took 12 minutes for him to bring it, yes at this point now we weren't gonna let this guy ruin our night so just for fun we timed him! Coralie stopped by our table to check on us, we just shook our heads and told her about Gary's loud "SHEEEESH" and his comments. And she relayed the latest to Dominic. After we paid, Dominic came by to check on us again and offered us a couple desserts to go to have the next day for Mother's Day which was really nice of him. Coralie was also very nice. The pianist was great, and we could see a great atmosphere with the other waiters and their tables. Unfortunately, we just got the worst waiter. So if you go here, just make sure to request that Gary is NOT your waiter and you should have an enjoyable experience.
