To keep the kids happy while we looked over the menu, we started with the mozzarella sticks and corn dog poppers. Both were total crowd-pleasers--crispy, melty, and didn't last long on the table. For the mains, the family spread was a massive success. The kids went with the classics: a juicy cheeseburger with golden fries, and crispy chicken tenders with perfectly fried tater tots. Both got total nods of approval. The wife and I went the salad route, ordering the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad, both topped with blackened chicken. Let me tell you, that blackened seasoning is the real deal here! It gave both salads a smoky, savory punch that elevated the whole meal. So last minute I wanted to go out with my family and hav dinner together because I was sad. Let's just I made a great choice because all of us loved the restaurant. We went for a random lunch here - have driven by dozens of times but never stopped in. It's good, not great. If you're looking for a slightly upscale sports bar, this is your pick. It has a nice bar, a good variety of food that goes beyond basic bar food. We got wings (good, but wanted more sauce and more meat on the bones), a pork bowl which my husband loved, and a hotdog for our daughter. Staff was great and very kind, but we hit at a slow lunch. I had been meaning to try any of their locations for a few years. After a trip outside of the country, I was wanting some good ol' American food and felt it would be the perfect time to try them out. The service was decent. The vibe was what you'd expect from a sports bar, similar to a Duffys or Brus room. The decor is fun and interesting, I never thought I would see a mural that included Michael Jordan, Jim Morrison and Jack Nicholson but it somehow works! I felt the shrimp tasted super fresh and breaded in house. The sauce was delicious. Very high expectations after this. ($14.50) 5/5 Double smash burger - Two 5 oz patties, American cheese, Legendary burger sauce. Very generous with the protein but I felt it was odd that the burgers only come with lettuce and tomato for free. Onions are TWO dollars extra. Also they don't come with pickles. The patties were under seasoned but I just added a bit of table salt and it did the job. I've had better burgers but I like that it was over 1/2 a lb of beef. Extremely cold inside the large building that we went to one server, which happens to be the bartender she's not that fast. The food took quite a while, and when I asked for no mushrooms on my Philly, the mushrooms were still on the filling. I asked for fries she brought me coleslaw so I don't know what's going on here. The experience was not pleasant. I've been to this one before and I had a good time so I don't know what's going on. Maybe it's a one off however restaurant in itself is very nice. The decor is very nice. It was very clean. The food itself needs a little improvement. Nothing was hot to touch. I did send back my fries once I receive them to get them heated. read more

Our building has a go to place on Mondays. It's Legends of Pompano Beach. Mondays they have a super 1/2 price burger special that comes with cheese, and either French fries or coke slaw side. I don't drink but my friends say they serve a good cocktail. I myself prefer the French Dip. Food, service and big screen TVs make this an enjoyable dining spot. On game nights the crowd gets loud but not too rowdy. The indoor seating is spacious and comfortable. It's also clean and has outdoor umbrella patio seating which is very nice. It has a full bar with a good number of beer choices, being foreign, domestic, and craft. It also has a decent menu with a chimichurri flat iron steak and bourbon-glazed salmon. But for the most part, typical substandard bar food such as their rather fake Chicago-style hot dog made with a Nathan's dog rather than with a Vienna, no neon relish or proper Vienna poppyseed bun. The menu lists celery salt as an ingredient, but I sure didn't note any. When it comes to actual Chicago Style those at Legends are merely cheap shabby fakes. Sorry to sound like a nitpicker, but when I order Chicago style, I expect Chicago style. My partner had Buffalo style wings, which were merely OK, nothing special. For a sports bar, Legends is about the same as the rest. read more

My boyfriend, my dog, and I stopped here on our way out of Miami for the day and just blindly chose Legends. Did NOT disappoint. There were other dogs outside as well, service was great, they even cut up the chicken breast that I ordered for my dog. The food was the best part. The Tuscan chicken sandwich was the best one I've had. The bread a was amazing but the entire sandwich was just really good. My partner & I really want to like this place. We keep giving it chances hoping it'll gets better but every time we go, there's SOMETHING. Either something tastes very wrong (but I have to say they're accommodating in taking things off the bill), or something comes out cold when it should be warm or something that you've ordered doesn't come out at all. God forbid you ask the kitchen to make any adjustments or changes that aren't on the menu- the waiter and the kitchen seems to short circuit so, not doing that again. Having owned a restaurant, it takes a lot for me to finally say something because I'm empathetic to how hard it is to run a restaurant, but after our last visit recently, I finally need to tell them they really need to up their game. I really don't see what people really like about the food here, but it is terrible. First time at Legends, we ordered 2 burgers and they were not good. I asked for cheder cheese and they used cheap shredded cheese that was not even half way melted. It was the same cheese on taco bell tacos. The bun seems homemade, but it was very thick. I had to cut the bun sideways in half because it was way too much bread. The "secret sauce" wasn't very good at all and tasted like Dejon mustard and mayo mixed together. It is no surprise that the fries are just simply Oreida Fries from the grocery store! NOTHING SPECIAL! You can make them better at home. We ordered the Tacos and they were worse than the burgers. I came to visit from Los Angeles, California it is very hard to find a good burger in Florida. Legends needs to hire a chef consultant to rethink what tasty sports bar food should look like. Hire the same restaurant consultant from The Yard House in Southern California and just copy the menu and Legends will be hit. I really love this place- just a really cute and cozy local grille with great food and good specials. My favorite part is the outdoor patio. We came here once when it was raining, and they put the rain covers down quickly - it was just so cozy and chill. They have flavored vegetarian chicken wings which is my favorite part- any place that has a plant based protein other than a bean burger is doing great, but the elevate it and have so many flavor options. If there is one thing I can appreciate about Legend's is that they are very consistent! On my most recent trip, I experienced a lot more of their menu. I tried an appetizer and of course had to get a cocktail. I can't talk about enough how much I enjoyed the fish dip. I didn't want to stop eating it. The margarita was pretty on point too. I was definitely full before I even had my main course, but I never skip the chance for chocolate chocolate cake which was from one of my favorite bakeries. I'm sorry to give a restaurant a bad review, but I was so disappointed in my dish, that I had to. I ordered fish & chips, which is a dish I have ordered in other restaurants. When it arrived, it was basically a boatload of fries and these two small logs that looked like they came out of a Mrs. Paul's frozen fish stick package. I said something to the waitress, and she just acknowledged it and said she would tell someone, maybe the chef or manager, but no offer for something else or any outcome as a result. The fries tasted a little stale and the fish, dry. I do have to say that they were busy that day (there was a Dolphin's game playing), and my two friends were happy with their dishes. However, I did not enjoy my meal. In addition, they changed their menu. I used to like to order the falafel wrap with sweet potato fries. They have neither on the menu. read more

We sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive while a bit busy. We had cheese sticks for an appetizer. They came out quickly and were very crunchy. We also had an ice tea and a Dr. Pepper. We had a loaded burger and fries. The burger was very good. It was ordered medium well but came out more of a medium. We did not send it back. We also ordered a BBQ Pork sandwich with cheese and Cole Slaw. The pork was good. Maybe a bit too sweet. The sandwich was a bit bland. It could have used some pickles or red onion. Wow! The best bar food ever. Everything was delicious. Had two apps, the banging shrimp and fried mozzarella sticks with homemade marinara. The shrimp were so tender and fresh. Wasn't to hot on the spice level but very tasty. The fried cheese sticks were flavorful and cheese was gooey. The Marinara sauce is made in house and is very tasty. Wings are a must! We had the lemon pepper and hot Buffalo and they were both tasty. The wings were a good size and definitely not frozen. The only complaint is that their "hot" Buffalo isn't hot at all IMO. More like mild but the wings were flavorful just not hot. Lemon pepper wings were on point! We ordered a 2nd order of 8 wings because they were just that good. I personally ordered a patty melt and that was almost perfect. My only complaint is that I like my bread grilled and this was lightly toasted but non the less it was great. My son got a NY hot dog and loved it. Beer was cold as ice and that's awesome. Our server Dillon was very nice and friendly. Everyone working there is attentive and works together.
