I have had Mark order parts for me several times while I was rebuilding my FXR chopper, and even though he was not doing the wrenching he totally helped me out and even double checked to make sure I had the correct part for my specific year of bike. Most shops will not even give you the time of day to order parts for you if they are not also doing the work, let alone help make sure what you ordered is correct- Mark takes pride in what he does and it shows. I stopped by one random afternoon totally unannounced to see if Mark could diagnose a weird noise my sportster was making. He came right out and took a look at it. He gave me a VERY in depth explanation of what he thought it could be. He even took me inside and broke out the manuals to show me what he was talking about! Most shops wont even give you the time of day let alone have a 30 min chat with you before they've got your money. He even showed me some of the awesome custom stuff he was working on! Had my '04 Buell Firebolt serviced by Mark. Serviced isn't the right word-Mark SAVED it. He saved me a ton of money as well. Welded/created the right tool to replace large bearing behind tranny belt pulley. Original bearing was disintegrating. Dealer would have removed engine/tran. to get to it. Super friendly and knowledgeable mechanic. Always happy and willing to answer questions. Shop is a hole-in-the-wall that can easily be missed if you ride by too fast but you'll be happy to have found it. Specializes in American v-twins. Rides a Buell Lightning himself. A+ read more

After dealing with my Harley dealership for 6 years, I finally woke up. Mark is faster, more honest, and way more friendly than the guys at the dealership. I don't know how it would've been if I were a male rider or had a nicer Harley, but the dealership repair experience was always painful. As long as you don't mind girly magazines laying around (I don't care), Mark is your guy. He prefers to work on customizations and stuff, but he helps me out with routine maintenance too. read more

Where has this guy been all my life? Mark is a f*cking legend. Was mounting a sissy bar on my FXDB today and ran into some issues. I didn't want to take it to a dealership because their hourly rate is so outrageous so I looked online quickly for other Harley service centers in the area and came across this most righteous dude. When I first called it went to answering machine and I hung up bummed out but ready to call another place. Within 30 seconds he called me back and let me know he was there and that he typically doesn't do minor repairs but to bring it by anyway-so incredibly glad that I did. Turns out Mark has been there for over 20 years and you can tell just by walking into the shop, it is like a motorcycle hardware store/Shangri-La. He knows his shit and spent almost an hour with me just talking shop, parts, and answering tons of questions that most mechanics scoff at. He helped me properly mount the sissy bar to the bike frame and then gave me some great insight on how to fix the electrical part myself, which is what I really wanted to do anyway but just wasn't sure how to do it. He charged me a totally fair amount and was just a really nice down-to-earth dude. I'll now be coming here for everything-parts, work etc. Epic. So stoked, thank you Mark! read more

Where to start, Mark is amazing. He is so cool and knowledgable. I've been into fixing up old cars and bikes since I was a kid. You meet a lot of people who work on things, but it's rare that you find someone who is passionate and knowledgable, as well as super cool. Mark is that rare craftsman that you don't find often. I'm new to the world of custom motorcycles and I really appreciate Mark's enthusiasm and knowledge, I call him the Chopper Whisperer. He walked me through all of the work he did on my chopper, explaining what he did and why. He did a lot of work on my bike and the bill was far less than I would ever have imagined. I had a feeling that he is the kind of guy who loves what he does and would be very fare in billing, so I bought him a nice bottle of tequila before I even saw the invoice. Mark sent me photo updates of the work in progress. He did some serious work on my bike, rebuilt my dual Mikuni carbs, re-worked my oil tank, including some welding that needed to be done, put steel braided gas lines on that he custom made just for her. He put better engine mount bolts and non-crushable washers to keep that beautiful engine in place. Mark explained the proper technique for starting her up, something that the boys at the shop I bought her from didn't do or know how to do apparently. I thought my bike sounded amazing before Mark got his hands on her, but now she sounds absolutely mind blowing. The engine is so much smoother, the throttle is smoother, the entire ride is completely different now. I'm really happy to have found Mark, I've learned so much about my bike, which has enhanced my riding experience and ownership enormously. I also Made a friend and look forward to having Mark do more work on my beautiful machine. read more
