When I went to Triumph Santa Monica I had already been negotiating and put a deposit on a motorcycle at another dealership. However, I saw a bike on their website that interested me. I drove over 90 miles to get there, and even though the other dealership was much closer to my home, I'm really glad I did!! As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and with exceptional customer service by Ross. I approached him and explained what I was looking for. Ross was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He allowed me to test ride the motorcycle I was interested in before I purchased it. This is a service the other dealership and quite frankly most other dealerships refuse, but this was a huge selling point for me!! It stands out as one of the many little things that this dealership does so well, to go the extra mile, to exceed their customer's expectations, and to make the customer's purchasing experience, my experience, a true pleasure!! I had never ridden a Triumph motorcycle before and was contemplating making this significant purchase without this first hand knowledge. The crew here went above and beyond to make sure that didn't happen and to make every part of my motorcycle purchasing experience by far the best I've ever had... So much so that I am here now, writing this review to recommend Santa Monica Triumph to everyone!!! Remi, like Ross, was a pleasure to work with. There was no pressure, no haggling, just straightforward professionalism, courtesy, and a deal that was fair and easy. It's more efficient for me to ride from Venice to Santa Monica to schedule an appointment than tap through the system and leave a message that doesn't get sent to a human. Get rid of this, please. I purchased my 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS from this place.The techs at this shop are total HACKS! After the initial 600mi service, they neglected to tighten the pinch bolts on the swingarm causing the chain to become dangerously loose after about 50mi. Had it not been noticed, it could have been a disaster! Then, the bike's gearbox had to be replaced after apprx. 1100 mi. It took over a month before I got the bike back. Once I did, I began to discover one problem after another. All of which were caused by the shoddy work done by their techs. First, the bike was leaking oil. This was because they reused an old crush washer and also had pinched the breather tube and not replaced the o-rings. Upon getting the bike back a second time, I had my prefered tech examine bike. He found the following just doing visual inspection: -Rear engine rubber shield not installed correctly -Front engine rubber shield hanging behind the radiator -Clutch cable routing incorrect (pulling in front of the radiator mounting bolt) -Throttle body not inserted into the intake boots -Throttle body clamp bent -Oil leaking from weep holes at the bottom of the sump. SMT took the bike back and made these repairs. After getting the bike back, I again had my tech inspect their work. Here's what he found the 2nd time...Engine flap guard still bundled up at the motor Found one fuel retaining clip not in place. Noticed crack in bolt mount of coolant reservoir* Noticed potential leak or residue of oil on the back. So, SMT took the bike back again. Upon return, the bike began overheating (after SMT had just replaced the coolant reservoir*) After a 3rd inspection by my tech, here's what was found... Bike is overheating very quickly, Coolant reservoir level does not seem to move. ------------------------- Started removing parts to access coolant filler cap When removing the fuel tank vent, tank expended and sucked a lot of air. Tried to blow in the line, appears to be clogged Fuel sensor connector clip broken Removed the fuel tank and found rubber flap sitting on top of the airbox instead of its right position under the throttle body Removed airbox to access coolant cap Was able to add 1quart of coolant into the radiator. (SMT didn't check the cooling system and didn't fill the radiator while it was there) ---------- While bike was apart traced the fuel tank vent hose and found it connected to the radiator cap. Yeah, unreal! Found that the hose was supposed to go to the coolant reservoir cap to be able to suck coolant out.....yes, you read that correctly! Found a lot of missing hardware. These people put my life at risk and there are likely things wrong qwith the bike that I simply have not discovered yet since they had to remove the motor to replace the gearbox. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU LET THE TECH'S AT SMT WORK ON YOUR BIKE!!! You are putting yourself and your bike at risk!!! You have been warned! read more

I drove all the way over here from west Hollywood for an hour and the manager had left the store and because of that they couldn't sell any bikes without him so i had to drive home in traffic. Now may 15, 2026 i took an uber from West Hollywood and verified that everything thing was ready as i got a pre approval for the loan. Now they are saying its been more than a month and they have to run credit again and it wasn't approved. So i have been here twice and no bike... we will see if they can make the situation work. read more

I've always bought a used car or motorcycle in all my 67 years, but I finally broke down and decided to buy a brand new Triumph because I wanted a warranty and a place close by that can service it. I traded in my old bike and I think I got a pretty good deal on it so all in all I'm very satisfied with this dealership. Today I was taking my wife in for her three month checkup at UCLA DR's office in Santa Monica. We live hours away in Springville Ca, one of the gateways to national forest areas. Today we left early and also arrived over an hour before the scheduled appointment time. I was at this dealership for 6 hours and what I saw was very disturbing. The service department was a complete mess. There was cigarette butts all over the floor, beer cans in every trash can. The lead mechanic thinks he's Jesse James with his Dickies and bald head. I watched him install a set of tires and he did not balance them. When I asked him to balance my tires he became hostile using foul language. I went to complain to the sales manager it was a tall blonde guy and he told me if I didn't like the service I could just leave the property. Definitely the most unprofessional service department I've ever witnessed. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody got hurt already from the burned out lead mechanic. After doing some research it turns out they're owned by a holding company and care less about customer service. I was totally surprised when the mechanic lit up a cigarette right next to my motorcycle in the service department with gasoline everywhere. Obviously this guy is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Save yourself a major headache go somewhere else to buy your bike. If you buy your bike here and have to get it serviced in the service department you could be risking your life. read more

I bought my 2025 Rocket 3 there last year. I truly believe they treated me fair and I got a great deal which is rare when buying a new vehicle. My 1 year service came up and I called last monday to get an estimate. I left 2 messages with their AI answering service. I called again on Tuesday twice and was unable to talk with a live person at any extension. I called again on wed, same thing. I called on Thursday and on the second try, I got a live person. He left a message for the service guy who called my back after about 10 minutes and said he would give me a quote for my service and TPM installation. I received a text message for my quote and a number to call for questions. That number started me back to beginning with the AI service. I tried twice and gavce up. I found another dealership to service my bike. Their AI service has to be hurting business. I believe I left 3 or 4 messages and never got a call back. I shouldnt have to try for 4 days to talk to someone about motorcycles at a motorcycle dealership and service. Once your lucky to talk to somone, they are good though or go in person. I live far away, so not worth the ride to get a quote. read more

Triumph of Santa Monica - absolute LEGEND, I own a Chinese electric chopper, after 5000 miles my hydraulic brake fluid was low, I am not a mechanic, didn't wanna mess with it without knowing anything about it, I was stopping at bunch of different dealers and the SNOBS everywhere keep telling me same thing "we don't touch anything we don't sell." I was passing by This dealership, decide to throw a "Hail Mary", so I stopped at the Triumph of Santa Monica and ask the mechanic if they can top off my brake fluid, these guys treat me like a star, they treat my toy bike like it's a real bike, highly professional, very polite, took care of my bike, I have no words just "LEGEND" all I can say - THANK YOU SO MUCH TRIUMPH OF SANTA MONICA !!!
