Twins is not just a bbq place, they have options for everyone. we have had pizza, buffalo mac n cheese, burgers, nachos and my favorite the smoked wings and ribs and everything has been spot on The owner is so nice. He makes his own seasoning and rubs in house as well as his own bbq sauce. If you're near Bon Terre you must try. Oh and they have a salad bar you can add on we really enjoy that as well. read more

We went for lunch. The service was fine. We got the buffet. The quality of the food was below average. Nice fixins at the salad bar. The quality of the meat was just meh. I also prefer sweeter slaw and regular green beans. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a mix instead of fresh. The desserts were tiny and didn't look that great so we skipped it. They had some ice cream cups in a freezer but they were so rock solid hard it bent the spoon. Not worth the price. Maybe ordering from the menu would have been better? read more

My husband and I ordered from here for a date night (through Doordash...what we call a "date night" might be considered just "dinner" to others lol). Anyway, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries and Mac n cheese, and my husband ordered the Mac n cheese smashburger, medium well, with broccoli w/cheese and fries for his two sides. We also got a root beer, and a gallon of their sweet tea. To sum it up, it was all: wonderful, delicious, & mouth-watering!!! The portions are perfect, the pricing is great, especially for what you get, and I just cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I wish I had a picture of my husband's entire meal...but I didn't have time to snap a better picture. That's how quickly he ate it. All I was able to get was his last bite. We were both AMAZED! Went for the first time a couple days ago and will absolutely be going back. Excellent value for the amount of food we got, and it was some of the best bbq we've had. The food for the third time was disgusting . First visit pork steaks so hard you couldn't put a fork in them. Second time ribs were so overly spicy with pepper ai started coughing. The third time green beans so tough you had to cut the with a knife and pulled pork sandwich had a chicken bone in it. The dining set was constructed of 2x4 and deck screws. The table surface was vinyl floor planks. Despite the small dining area and not being that busy, it was not that well maintained. The food was meh. Had better, had worse. The only reason for this review is they charged 4% fee on top of the bill. I seen some charges like this around covid. We were greeted by staff at the door to pick a seat and visited shortly after with menus. Upon trying to place our order we were given a couple of "let me check if we have those." Pork steaks and burnt ends... it's a bbq place, it's 3:00. Discouraging that they don't know. Any who, we got the order placed and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The brisket and pork steak got high marks from my kids. The burnt ends, I didn't care for. They had a taste like they had been seared over a gas flame. Not a char flavor. Grisly. Sad because they were the reason we (I) had chosen this spot. As far as ambiance, the restaurant is attached to a Huddle House.... The interior is covered in country music memorabilia and is nothing to write home about. It's also very clean and they make good use of the tiny space. read more

Similar layout to the old Homestead Restaurant that was in this building but that is where the similarities end. Service seemed confusing when they finally came to our table. 3 guys who go out once a week for lunch and although there seemed to be plenty of wait staff it seemed forever til we could order. Drinks, water with lemon. Sorry, no lemon. OK. 2 of us ordered the buffet and one got a fish sandwich. To say the buffet was disappointing would be an understatement. Fried chicken was blah, pulled pork was dry, corn was not flavorful, french fries were good, some little round fried somethings were unknown, stewed tomatoes salty, so all in all the food was not very good. I hate to put in a bad review since there appear to be many who love it but we all agreed this would be our last trip down here. Then the bill came: The prices on the bill were higher than the menu. When I pointed that out the girl said the register does that, BUT, there was also tax added at the bottom. They claimed we would receive a senior discount like the menus says but never saw it, but that's ok. If you eat here and are happy just check your bill because NOTHING adds up with the figures. So please read entire review before judging. Friday night I made an online order. 1- brisket platter w slaw and Mac n cheese, 2- pork belly burnt ends w slaw and an order of sweet and smoky wings. Shortly after making my order I recieved a call notifying me they were out of burnt ends and Mac n cheese. Either gone for the day or didn't make them that day. I do understand places that smoke meat make a certain amount and once it's gone it's gone. So we got that refunded and purchased an order of Cajun wings. Food was done quickly and I picked it up. Was not offered any sauces so I didn't realize they even had any. Not a deal breaker but Definately not good customer service. Once I got home and we ate my simple opinion is this. I will give this place a 2nd try when burnt ends and Mac n cheese are available. However my brisket was good. Slightly drier than my preference but in defense of the grill master it was close to closing time. Beans were decent as was the slaw. Garlic bread was great. Now the wings they were gorgeous and perfectly cooked. Not dry and skin wasn't rubbery like a lot of smoked chicken. This is actually where I excel on my smoker. But I could not tell the difference between the two flavors. They just tasted smoky. I would be willing to try the smoked Buffalo wings though. So overall I give a 3/5. Food was decent it was late. But did lack some spices. Will try again as I like to support local business and I appreciate the knowledge practice and determination it takes to master smoking. But strike two would be the last one in my book. read more

Food was very average. Pork steak was fatty and not very hot. The sides were disappointing. The cowboy beans were nothing more than warmed up beans out of can. No meat in them. The French fries were all stuck together. The server told us about the special then gave us what was on the menu at a higher price. The place had a lot to be desired for the ambiance. We'll have to think if we want to return. We were not informed that the special for $10.00 only included one side instead the two sides that are posted on the menu. So you take the menu item, eliminate one side and reduce the price by the cost of that one item and call it a special. What a poor way do do business. Most places take a menu item, reduce the price and call it their special. Not reduce the menu item by one of the components, reduce the price and call it a special. So the error is on the server for not informing the customer of that change and not the fault of the customer in not knowing that as there was nothing post to say that. read more

I went there on Saturday for their grand opening! Talk about taste bud overload. I ordered the street tacos with brisket. The favor was awesome! I tried a rib from my boyfriends plate, and the meat fell off the bone! Love the original BBQ sauce. We will definitely be back! read more
