These people are crooks who intentionally damage cars in order to increase their repair revenue. My husband decided to get his car's bumper repaired at Twins Collision after reading the positive reviews on Yelp. He brought the car in for an estimate, and they collected a deposit and told him to bring the car back in three weeks for the bumper repair. When he brought the car back for the repair, he parked the car in the shop's front lot and went inside for five minutes to do some paperwork. Upon leaving, he saw an employee (or maybe the shop's owner?) tinkering with the car's right side mirror and the mirror cover dangling from the car. My husband asked the man what he was doing, and he claimed that he'd found the mirror cover on the ground next to the car, but that he could fix the mirror for an additional charge. It's true that the mirror cover had been mildly damaged in a minor fender-bender a few months earlier, but it had remained securely attached for many months and thousands of miles of driving. It was suspicious, to say the least, that it suddenly fell off while the car was parked outside of a body shop. Suspecting that the shop had intentionally damaged the mirror, my husband told the man that he wanted the shop to do only the quoted bumper repair, and not any additional work. The man said the shop would only repair the bumper if my husband also paid for the mirror repair. (WHY?!) My husband said he would not pay to have the mirror repair done and the man got belligerent, yelling that he would not fix the car because of my husband's bad attitude. He gave a check for the prepaid deposit (suspiciously quickly, almost as though this scheme had been pre-planned) and ordered him to get off the property. We've reported Twins Collision to the Queens district attorney, the consumer fraud unit of the New York attorney general, and the New York DMV. We'll see if anything comes of the reports. In the meantime, though -- stay far away. read more

My brother recommended this place after his RANGE ROVER needed some body work done after a minor accident. He found them through Geico. My 2022 BMW X4 was hit rear driver side while parked in the city. I spoke with Lucy on a Thursday and she said I can come in that Friday or Monday. I came Monday. Richie , one of the twins, super nice guy was the one who explained to me what needs to be done and what may need to be done with my car. He was straight forward and told me my car would be ready in 3 weeks. I was getting a rental so the 3 week time frame was fine with me. Enterprise is 2 minutes away from the shop. These guys are great. I've had to bring my car to them twice now and everytime they did a perfect job keeping me in the loop and in the end, fixing everything up. (In this case it was my whole front end. Okay so! My car was hit by a flying wooden board on the van wyck, and it basically damaged my bumper, my fog light, and my grill, as well as damage to the shield under the car. I chose this place bc they have damn near 5 stars on yelp and google. I dropped the car off on a Monday, and the woman at the front, Lucy, told me it would be ready in a week-week and half. Now, I know this seems long, bc even I was being impatient. But let me tell you. When I called her to ask for an update, and I was being a little impatient like I said, she was VERY nice, and very helpful, and called me back like she said she would. The car actually was ready a day earlier too! When I went to get the car, it was literally a 5 minute process. The car looks BETTER than when I bought it from the dealership. The bumper is beautiful. Everything is perfectly flush. They even detailed the car for me (and trust me my car was disgusting when I dropped it off, I was planning on detailing it after it was done). The car was clean, and beautiful again! I didn't have much chance to interact with everyone that works there, but if Lucy is the representation of the rest of the employees, then I'm sure they're all great. I would recommend you bring your car here even if you have to take the trains and buses for the week, bc they truly do an amazing job, and they don't lie to you about any estimates. They tell you the honest truth, even if it might be longer than expected. But like I said, it's worth it. I selected this shop from a list my insurance made available to me. I chose based off distance and other Yelp reviews. It was my first accident and I didn't know what to expect. From the moment I dropped my vehicle off for repairs to the day I took it home, I had a clear understanding of what was happening with my vehicle. They explained the damages in full scope and what the repairs entailed. The estimated time frame was accurate, I even received the car a day before expected. The car was fully cleaned and washed before they returned it to me, which is awesome. There was no evidence of any work performed or any evidence of the car accident. They even provided me with a touch up kit to fill in scratches on my door, unrelated to the accident. The customer service, quality of work and clarity I received during the entire process are what this business prides themselves in and they truly live up to it. And here is the follow-up. Like I said, what you need to understand, and why I am giving 5 stars, is that I've been around the business. With that said, if a shop tells you that your car might be ready in 4 days and it isn't ready for a week, no big deal. Patience is a virtue, and when it comes to getting the job done right, I'd much rather a shop take more time than less. I got my car back on Saturday morning and fell in love all over again. The paint job was flawless. I should note that I had them repair and repaint my rear bumper and install new seals on those obnoxious mini windows that coupes have. Everything was clean and sparkling. The guys wash, wax, and tire shine the car so it looks like it's brand new again. I would highly recommend this shop and would not hesitate to bring my car back here in the future. read more

I had my first car accident. It was a traumatic incident. I am still recovering from the crash but I am glad I didn't have to worry about the repairs to my car. It's what keeps my family safe on the road, so I wanted the best repair shop in Queens. The process was easy and simple. I had my car towed from my home to the shop. The repair shop updated me weekly with an email on what they were repairing and the progress of the repairs. I appreciated those emails from Lucy. It helped ease my mind about the process. When I received my car back it looked good as new. Almost didn't recognize the car. When I took home the car I noticed there was a pronounced cabin noise coming from the drivers side door. I also noticed a "woo woo" sound coming from the rear passenger side tire. I told Lucy and she told me to bring the car back to be fixed at no extra cost. That was nice of them especially since the right rear wheel was unrelated to the accident. Remember I was hit on the left side of my car. I would comeback to this repair shop again.
