    I've never met a Home Goods that I didn't like, until I visited this one!…read more Sure, it's huge and carries an extremely large amount of items for every single space inside and outside your home, but the customer service absolutely sucks! I was eye to eye with at least 6 employees and NONE of them spoke, offered assistance, or seemed to care about me being an actual paying customer. I guess discussing their happy hour plans was more important than assisting the customers. After I grabbed the items I wanted, I got in line. I saw that register one was open and didn't have any customers, so I proceeded to it. Instead of letting me know she wasn't open, I had to ask and the cashier said, "we are open, not ready for you yet." Rude and should've been handled much better, but whatever. I then head back to the line but another line opened up. As soon as I approach, the cashier said, "no, she's next!" Talking about the woman behind me. I said, "No! I'm next. I just went to register one and they're not open!" She apologized and said she thought I came the wrong way into the line. Now, why would I do that? I can clearly see where the line starts and ends and I clearly understand the concept of a line! That interaction was the icing on the cake. I won't be returning to this location. Home Goods in Rockville, do better!

    I have been avoiding coming to a Home Depot for some time. Not for any given reason, just because I…read moredidn't want to feel like I was falling into a void. But I was in need of a few items that I knew I wouldn't easily find elsewhere. Being at the mall, this is just a stone's throw away. I will say, this give the impression from the outside that it is not a big store inside. Deceiving. When I got inside, it is just as big as any other HD, just set up so awkwardly that you have no idea where anything is. What I can tell you is that when you are in here, pull up the app. It will make locating what you want faster and less stressful on you. I knew what I needed, just not where to go. With the app I was able to type in the item and it took me not only to the aisle, but the bay in the aisle where the item was. With my items in hand I go up front to the self serve registers and wait my turn. I walk up, scan my items, and then the machine says I need assistance. It ran out of receipt paper. That fixed, receipt in hand, I on my way home.

    I recently took my in-laws furniture shopping at Bob's Furniture, and we had two very different…read morecustomer service experiences. First, I want to recognize James W. He greeted us when we arrived and was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took the time to help us configure the furniture in different layouts so my in-laws could better visualize how it would look in their home. He never rushed us and made the shopping experience enjoyable. His customer service was truly 10/10. Unfortunately, another employee, an older woman with short red hair, left us with a very negative impression. She made inappropriate jokes in front of my in-laws, and she falsely accused my children of damaging furniture when nothing had been broken. My children were simply trying out the furniture, just as many customers do, and they were under my supervision the entire time. Her comments were unnecessary, unprofessional, and made our family feel uncomfortable. It's one thing to politely remind customers of store policies, but it's another to make false accusations and embarrass families in front of others. I hope the store or regional manager takes this feedback seriously. While James provided exceptional service, this employee's behavior was disappointing and detracted from what otherwise could have been a great shopping experience. I hope she receives additional customer service training so future customers are treated with kindness and respect.
