Never would have expected such high quality Thai food in way up state NY. We ordered take out, very easy ordering. The place looks like a little residential house, but there is good signage indicating it's the restaurant. We tried the fried pork wontons and the fried vegi spring rolls, the drunken noodles and the pineapple curry. The spicy ranking was 1-4 chilis, and ordered a 3 for the curry. They asked to confirm, 3 out of 5 or 3 out of 4. I said 3 out of 4. The spring rolls and pork wontons were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The noodles were exactly the right amount of chewy, and the sauce was salty and sweet, and it included lots of veggies mixed with the noodles. The curry was spicy, but not crazy burn-your-face-off spicy. The pineapple chunks were small, which I really like so you can get a piece of pineapple in every bite. It definitely made the food taste better by eating it lakeside with homemade cocktails. read more

I'm a little torn. I don't want to be negative during a time that restaurants are struggling to come back from a horrendous year, but I do have to be honest. While I'm leaning more towards two stars, there are a lot of redeeming qualities about the food here. First and foremost, it is fresh, made to order with solid ingredients. The owners/operators are friendly and calling in for takeout was easy. Food was ready when we arrived and portions are generous. The problem is, two of us have been to Thailand and the other two live in the New York City area (and were visiting us this week). We have a lot to compare it to. Chicken satay was very bland. The two noodle dishes (pad see ew and drunken noodle) were both made with the thinner noodles-not the broad rice noodles that were expected. Flavors were ok-just...again...not the flavors that any of us are used to. Sticky rice was nice-but served as the sweet variety (which is great for dessert if there's a ripe mango around). Green curry was just ok and the panang was reported to be "meh". Spring rolls didn't carry out well-they were described as greasy and chewy. Maybe we just hit them on an off night. My first time here. I saw many wonderful reviews and decided to venture down from Glens Falls. Mostly take out but there are a few tables for in house dining. The lack of ambiance is more than made up for by the freshness and quality of the traditional Thai dishes. I had the fried Wontons filled with ground pork and the Tom Ka Gai soup with chicken, vegetables, and mushrooms served in a delicious spicy broth with cilantro and coconut milk. I also ordered a Thai iced tea. Everything was beyond my expectations and the owners were very friendly and courteous. I will be returning here soon to try some of the other traditional Thai dishes. Don't let the location or the diminutive scale deter you; this is some of the best Thai food in the Cap District. We were traveling in the Saratoga Springs area and discovered a true off the beaten path Thai restaurant in the middle of rural area. We ordered a bunch of food from an extremely reasonable priced menu, with nothing over $8.25 per entree. Upon entering the dining room, we saw that it was well lit, small but very inviting in terms of decor and color. It was a small operation with a three person team. So straight away, we ordered these dishes for take out: * Spring Roll * Chicken Satay * Mango with Sticky Rice * Tom Kha Gai * Drunken Noodles * Noodle Soup * Som Tom * Thai Tea * Thai Coffee We were very happy with what we ordered. We know the limitations of a "remote" location for restaurants like this and gave it consideration. All the dishes were very good. The true standouts were the Tom Kha Gai, the Noodle Soup, the Som Tum and the Thai tea and coffee. I particularly liked these dishes because they were all consistent with what we could get here in New York City. The Noodle Soup particularly had a true genuine thai flavor with pork balls and ground pork. It transported me to those Thai food courts in Bangkok malls. Very good indeed. Another huge plus is that for almost every dish, we were asked for the spice level. We wanted the higher level and boy were we satisfied. The heat was definitely in each dish, either spiced up with bird chilies or pepper powder. If I were to visit the Saratoga County area again, I would definitely stop by again. Straight out of Thailand, these two twins are serving real Central Thai dishes. Through odd in its location, the food here is truly authentic Bangkok, and the best outside of Albany for the Capital region. Its all there, from the first alkaline bite to the last kafir spiced sauce. Their Chicken Pa Nang tastes like its straight from Chatuchak Market in Bangkok and their Drunken Noodles can really showcase the Thai Bird's Eye Chili in all its fiery glory. For something very Thai, try the Larb; excellent. the portions are large and the prices are beyond fair. For a taste of Central Thailand, you need to make the trip here. read more

Heard about Twins Thai from a friend who said I HAD to try it if I liked Thai food. I ended up having the BEST drunken noodles I have ever had. It was Thai Hot and it was a nice slow burn with an amazing, rich flavor. I also had a crunchy spring roll, refreshing Thai coffee, and a not-too-sweet, well-rounded mango and sticky rice dessert. Hate to do it. Really hate to leave this kind of review but wow what a bummer! Lots of folks here on a Friday to have what was reported to be some great Thai food and (& I'm not making this up) the time from someone even taking an order, to getting my two small sides was (wait for it... and I'm not exaggerating) 45 minutes. So lame. Pace in the trailer was super slow and there was zero acknowledgement from anyone in the kitchen/order takers) that the wait would be long or that anyone was even waiting. So ungracious. I just cannot recommend this place unless they can overcome their inability to produce food. If there's more than one or two people waiting- do what I should have done, and four other people did while I was waiting- skip it. And how was the food.... it was fine. Nothing worth waiting almost an hour for. I really hope that this business is able to overcome this challenge as I want to love this type of place and effort. read more

On our way back from Merck Forest and saw their food truck for the first time. I had no idea that Greenwich has a Thai place like this, so I was pleasantly surprised and was sold right away. We got Tom Kha Gai which was super tasty, the heat was perfect and the flavor was super rich. It's got plenty of scallion and cilantro on top of all the other goodies. And above all, the Thai iced tea was $1.50! Glad I got to support my fellow Asians especially in a place like Greenwich and excited to learn that they will keep their food truck for a while after they get the restaurant up and running.
