The fried outside piece is thicker than I've ever seen. It's definitely not flash fried. Friendly service and quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I came here before and ordered the red curry dinner. It is fresh and delicious, but I didn't think to take a picture.

We were all very impressed with this little sushi restaurant in Glens Falls NY. It seems like a family run business with limited seating and a steady flow of take out orders. In the winter, it can get a bit cold inside with the door opening so often. None of that mattered. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The only small downside was that some of the rolls didn't hold together very well, which made them a little tricky to eat. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit, which we will do next time we are at Lake George.

I really like this place... it's a typical brown sugar Thai place but they also have sushi but now and then you can find little bits of authentic Thai in the menu and it's very accessible to people new to Asian cuisine and culture... that being said I really enjoyed my dinner last night. We got 2 apps and 2 entre plates. We got the avocado cold rolls which was a vegetarian spin on a classic Vietnamese spring roll, the peanut sauce was very simple, the fusion alternative move was I thought very clever, We also had crab rangoons which were formed as a plunged wonton that looked like a flower sitting on the plate, each Rangoon had a nice portion of filling which was well made, the cream cheese and crab meat was balanced enough so both were present in each bite and it was very enjoyable with the sauce... I had this yellow curry noodle soup which was really nice, it reminded me of Thai noodle slurp shops I used to frequent when I lived in Hollywood CA. Not exactly, but it was getting probably as close to that as they could get and still be serving all the other brown sugar customers who want rangoons and vegan fusion spins on classic Asian food. And it was really nice, I liked it a lot. It was supposed to be northern Thai but it really wasn't very spicy but that's fine it was still very authentic and delicious... my date had pad Thai which she usually eats at these places... and it was as expected, sweat and delicious, pad Thai with chicken. I've also on previous visits eaten other things and I've always had a good time at this place. It's a good restaurant. It's also very clean and has a nice atmosphere with new seating and decorating the dining area is very friendly with lots of natural light and light colors. It's a nice place for a date or a family meal with 2 or 4 people no problem. Probably not good for big big groups, but also I bet they could accommodate that as well if you let them know you were coming. The waiter was very helpful and also not intrusive... just right amount of service... I bet my mom would like this place... It's a nice meal... glad we went out.

Drove by looking for a place to eat lunch- so glad I stopped. Cutest little spot with bright atmosphere. The friendliest woman greeted and took my order. Lunch came out in what felt like minutes- fresh, hot and so yummy. I cant wait to come again and try more of the menu-

Amazing food, super kind staff, I will definitely be back again to order, I will try to dine in as well because the place seemed very cozy when I went to pick up my order.

What a fabulous new Thai restaurant in Glens Falls! I had never been to the previous place, but I heard that the interior is completely different-and it's really nice. Super clean and bright. Although it's small, the tables are still comfortably spaced. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. Favorite appetizer? I'm torn between the chicken satay and the salmon skin salad. Both were delicious...and the salad was a really generous portion. I really enjoyed the steamed dumplings...and the fresh avocado roll was good, too. Crab Rangoon is not really my jam, but my friend insists that this place has the best he's ever had-anywhere. It was the only fried item that we ordered and there wasn't a trace of greasiness anywhere. Entrees were the red curry, chili basil chicken and drunken noodle. My favorite was the curry-hands down. I tried their green curry once before as a takeout and it was a WINNER! I've been to Thailand and the curry is the real deal. The drunken noodle dish was very good-just sweeter and less spicy than I'm used to. I would order it again and ask to turn up the heat (on everything, actually). The red curry does have a little bit of a kick. No room for anything else but we had lots of leftovers and I plan to go back to try other dishes.

After a week of craving Asian food during our Lake George vacation, this cozy restaurant absolutely hit the spot for us. My favorites were: + Salmon Torch Roll ($14): Essentially a California Roll with torched salmon on top, I enjoyed this so much that I revisited and picked up a roll to-go for our drive back home. + Pad Thai Shrimp ($18): A little too saucy but still a better than average Pad Thai. + Mango Sticky Rice ($8): Again, saucier than usual but too much coconut milk isn't a bad thing here. Admittedly, in the NYC/Jersey City area, I would've rated it 4 stars, but compared with Asian food we tried in the local area, I happily give it 5 stars.

We chose Morgan & Company to celebrate our wedding anniversary after I specifically requested a…read moregift certificate to dine there because I had been looking forward to the experience. Sadly, it ended up ruining what should have been a special evening. I began with the French onion soup. The menu described it as being served with a crouton, but what arrived was two large pieces of bread with only the thinnest drizzle of melted cheese. Anyone who enjoys classic French onion soup knows the hallmark of the dish is a generous blanket of bubbling cheese, with the bread hidden underneath. I politely mentioned this to our server, who took it back to the kitchen. What came back was astonishing. Instead of remaking the soup properly, the kitchen simply added two more pieces of bread--for a total of four slices--and again barely covered them with cheese. At that point I declined the manager's offer to make it a third time. After seeing what the kitchen considered an acceptable correction, I had completely lost confidence. For my entrée, I ordered the coconut shrimp and added the glazed spare ribs. Unfortunately, both were overwhelmed by an extremely sweet, thick, sticky glaze. The coconut shrimp themselves may have been very good had the sauce been served on the side so diners could decide how much to use. Instead, every bite was drenched in sweetness. The ribs had virtually the same heavy glaze, and even the green beans and carrots were swimming in a sweet sauce. The entire plate tasted like dessert rather than dinner. I barely touched it and simply had it boxed to take home so we could wash off the sauces ourselves. My husband ordered the bouillabaisse, which had the opposite problem--it was surprisingly bland and lacked the rich seafood flavor one expects from that classic dish. Rather than complain yet again, he also boxed it up so we could season it ourselves at home. By 8:30 on a Sunday evening we were still hungry and began searching for another restaurant, only to discover that most nearby kitchens were closing at 9:00. We ended up grabbing Chinese takeout just so we could have something to eat on our wedding anniversary. The evening became even more disappointing considering the cost. We ordered a $150 bottle of Cabernet, bringing our bill to approximately $300 before tip. Spending that amount for a celebratory dinner and then leaving hungry to find another meal elsewhere is not an experience I ever expected. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I generally give restaurants every opportunity to make things right. In this case, however, the problems extended well beyond a single dish. Between the mishandled soup, the excessively sweet entrées, the bland bouillabaisse, and ultimately having to find another dinner after spending hundreds of dollars, this was an anniversary dinner we will remember for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because it has the potential to be much better than what we experienced.

The entrance is a dirt parking lot with the store on the left and the restaurant on the right. At the entrance to the restaurant is a dirt trail leading up to it. As you walk down the trail there are large cut tree trunks about 2 feet high set in a circle to sit on with a fire pit in the middle. Further down, you come to an intersection. Go to the right and you enter the Greenhouse Cidery which serves the drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Go straight and you enter an open area with seating and live music. Go to the left and you have another trellis-lined trail covered in hanging plants and ivy. On either side are picnic tables where you can eat. At the end of the trail is The Yummy Kitchen. The menu is small but the food is really good. The experience alone is worth going! The Dan Dan Noodles were very tasty with noodles that were a little overcooked but overall a good taste especially when adding their various sauces available in the far corner opposite the order counter. The Greenhouse Cidery had a nice, but limited, selection of wine and beer along with their cider. This is definitely a place to visit for both the ambience and the food! Highly recommended!

Back in the Berkshires for another short vacation, we had to make a detour to revisit and see if it lived up to those dreams over the past couple years. Yes - it did! The atmosphere here is fabulous! The setting in the beautiful greenhouse of trellises & lush greenery is so unique. And, taking the food over to the bar area with delicious ciders was a big bonus. Knowing that the wings were only available on Saturday afternoons, we planned . These are honestly the best wings EVER! The salad & rice under the wings make it the most delicious complete meal. We actually contemplated on getting a couple extra orders & driving them back home - four hours away. The Sesame Noodle App was delicious - especially with a healthy dose of that amazing crack chili crisp. The only bummer was that there were no jars of the crisp to buy & take home. Guess I have to learn to make my own. I found the Wasabi Caesar tasty but a tad "fishy" and picked off the bonito. To top off the delicious foods, the presentations are just gorgeous! So, alas, unless you move a few states away, Yummy Kitchen will have to go back to living in our dreams for now. Can't wait to make a return visit!

A fairly short drive brought me to this little seafood shack; it is located in what seemed to be a kind of out of the way neighborhood. From the outside it looks charming, just a nice New England hang out; inside is even better with 2 compact dining rooms decorated with a nautical theme and a metal roof. When I arrived at about 6 on a Friday night the place was almost full with a couple of larger parties enjoying themselves. The menu is great for me since it is almost exclusively fish and seafood, with a good selection of preparations; even better there was another page of specials that are a bit more upscale. Since I was hungry and just wanted to keep it simple I choose the all you can eat fish fry off the menu. Considering how busy the restaurant was my meal came out in about 10 minutes. A nice basket with 4 fish fillets, fries and coleslaw. The highlight was clearly the fish with perfectly cooked moist white fish in a great batter with just enough spices to perk the fish up. The fish was so good that I actually finished the 4 fillets and then got 2 more. The fries were very thin cut and crispy. The coleslaw is what you would expect, good but nothing special. I was very impressed with Adirondack Seafood, the fish was excellent and the sides were good. The price was reasonable and the portions were generous. Service was good and the atmosphere is charming and fun. I would strongly recommend giving them a try. About the only downside is that outside of fish and seafood there are not a lot of choices; not an issue for a pescetarian like me but could be an issue for those who are serious carnivores.
