Food (5/5): Fot the two medium spicy sliders and fries combo. The slider was nice and crispy was well made chicken. The fries were also crispy and nicely seasoned. Service (3/5): Food took a bit long to come out at around 12 minutes. The restaurant seemed to open later than the scheduled time making us wait a bit before it opened. We just got pickup and besides those issues it was ok. Ambiance (4/5): Plenty of seating in the restaurant and was overall clean.

I'm pretty obsessed with this place right now. Really juicy crispy chicken, always arrives hot even with the delivery time. I usually get the 2 slider combo with fries but this time I just got one.. These sliders are big! Like what I would expect if I just ordered a regular sandwich. Crinkle cut fries, with the twinz sauce which reminded me of raising canes or zaxbys.. soo good. Now for the spice.. just know it's hot!! I got a mild and it was way spicier than I expected, but honestly so good that I keep going back. (For reference a spicy chicken sandwich at chikfila is spicy to me haha.) I've only ordered delivery through ubereats. I've gotten it like 4-5 times and it's always packaged really well and order was always correct.

Twinz is one of the best Hot Chicken Spots I've ever been to and it never disappoints. The fries are always crisp and crunchy seasoned to perfection with a hint of spice. The sliders are always hot and fresh with a slight drizzle of their homemade sauce. Not only is the food fantastic the prices are very affordable to where two sliders with a box loaded of fries is only 14 dollars. The staff is always friendly making the it a very comfortable environment. 10/10 would recommend to anyone !

Ok, so I had no idea about Twinz in Jersey City until my friend decided that we should meet here for lunch! She was looking forward to their fried chicken salad, which they didn't have that day, but she ended up going with the sliders, which she loved. I didn't get to try it, but it looked scrumptious! Before I get into my order, I wanna say that this place is cute. It isn't super trendy, but it deserves to be! They've invested into the decor by adding some cool slogans on the walls in relation to their food, they have a few tables, and a few stools. It's simple, but really cool! When I placed my order, it was with a woman, whom I feel was one of the owners. She was super sweet and hospitable. I ended up ordering the chicken and waffles, which, I truly didn't know what to expect. I mean, it's chicken and waffles. I've had dozens of different interpretations of chicken and waffles, but girl....let me just say that the chicken and waffles at Twinz, is TOP 3! I said what I said! When my order was ready, I pointed out the steam from the chicken. It was JUST fried, child! Like, just now! I also pointed out the juice drippage from the chicken. It was an orangey color, as I asked for a medium spice level. I bit into this chicken and happily burned the roof of my mouth. Aside from its freshness, the flavor was SPOT.ON.! It was also juicy and crispy! And I must mention the waffles! These waffles were cooked to a science, hear me?! Perfect crisp edges, with the perfect fluffiness on the inside! These weren't frozen, store bought waffles, girl. Not at all, these waffles were FRESHLY and CAREFULLY made with LOVE! My appreciation had to be expressed to the woman who took my order. I was blown away by my meal and she needed to know. Twinz is simple in decor, and not fussy at all, but Linda listen.....the food is where the focus is, and it speaks for itself. Food made with love is what I seek. I cannot wait to go back to Twinz to try a new menu item! Thank you! So much gratitude!

So let me start out by saying...i was so excited to see a hot chicken spot! We were on our way to chipotle but saw this place and decided to eat here instead. We got combo #2 at the highest spice level. It was spicy, but I've definitely had spicier. Good amount of food. Waited a bit, but the food was made fresh. The slaw, sauce and even bread was good. The fries were nice and crispy. Pricy-but food has gone up everywhere. Would definitely visit again.

Had the #2 combo with a slider, a tender, and fries. The slider was excellent and the sauce and toppings completed the chicken well. The tender was really spicy despite my ordering mild, but the chicken was tender. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, but a little too sweet. So so surprised with this new spot in the JSQ area! Decided to stop by & see what the hype was about. They've got some indoor seating which is nice. I ordered the #1 at mild heat. (Or medium? I can't remember honestly). Took about 10 min to get ready, which wasn't a problem. So surprised with how big the "sliders" were, they felt like full sandwiches honestly. And their house sauce with the fries were AMAZING. The chicken itself was impeccable, absolutely insane. I'm glad the JSQ has this new option! Definitely recommend stopping by this spot.

It doesn't look like much, but we were MOANING. It was SO good. The chicken is JUICY! And FINALLY, a place that when they put spicy, they mean it! I would put the spicy on ghost pepper level (not out of control like reaper). The slider is better than doing the chicken with bread or alone. I happened to walk by this place on the way to a friends house and all I have to say is WOW! Their decor is extremely chic and has some insta worthy corners. The service was extremely fast and I was shocked at how fast the food arrived. Now on to their best attribute, their food! I started with their staple, the fried chicken sandwich. This was life changing! The chicken ranges from mild to spicy and can be customized based on preference. It was perfectly crispy and full of spices and flavor, it was accompanied by waffle fries that were the right blend of crunchy and soft. The sandwich was also lightly smothered in this delish mayo based sauce which complemented the spices of the fried chicken. I ended the meal with a side of Mac and cheese which was extremely tasty and cheesy goodness! To say I was taken aback by this meal is an understatement. Don't walk here, RUN!

I like this place because it's all chicken breast! Fresh chicken you can get it with no spice, mild or spicy.. honestly you can get no spice or just mild because that mild is hot enough. Love the French fries as well. My daughter got the chicken salad came with nuggets and ranch dressing along with lettuce etc. can't beat these deals ! You'll be full read more

After passing this spot many times. Also remembering and missing the Spanish spot that was there before, finally gave them a try. Picked the sliders and tenders (spicy). The wait for long for the lunch rush. He said 20 minutes, but it was closer to over 30. A lot of delivery pick ups coming in and out, which is good but makes the wait long. Overall the food quality is good. Spicy really means spicy, even level one above none. Quick spot to get a meal. We will try them again and be more patient this time around. Twinz gets a recommendation. read more

I thought y'all were hyping this up. From the photos, it looked like some basic chicken tenders. But I was hungry so I just ordered some take out. I must say, this is some good a** chicken!! I got the mild spice and it was more than spicy enough for me. The slaw and pickle added a nice balance. My only complaint would be that I wish the buns were toasted so they didn't feel as soggy from the slaw. Other than that, it was delicious and I was well pleased. read more

One of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I've had in the area ! Got the mild and spicy combo with fries and twinz sauce !!! 10/10 would go back. Can't wait to go back. Very limited Hot Chickens in this area, so this was a pleasant sight when they 1st opened up. Not gonna lie, if you're not a commuter, this place is a nightmare to find parking. Anyway, the food......Made fresh to order from the fries to the chicken. Got the spiciest #2. Tenders were smaller than Dave's Hot Chicken and less spicy than Dave's hottest, which was just enough heat. Fries were fresh and crispy with minimal seasoning. The Mac and cheese was good as well. All that for less than $20. read more

Had this place twice now. Everything is absolutely amazing. The chicken is fried to order. I consider myself to have a high spice tolerance and the medium was spicy enough for me! This is the most underrated chicken joint in Jersey city. I came with my boys and i was hungry as heck, I originally wanted some Buffalo Wild Wings and I'm so glad I came here instead. The combo #3 is better than your favorite candy at the county fair. It's better than a cold iced tea on a hot day. It's almost as good as a brand new pair of sneakers on the first day of school. The Nashville hot sauce was a little spicy but it was more of the sugar aftertaste that turned me off of it, I do not order with it mixed on now. The regular tenders are good though, with the right crunchiness and binding that it doesn't fall apart as you dip in sauce or handle it, and the breast meat is a lot but it is juicy and moist. Fries and the sandwich bread are good too, bread reminds me of Bunny bread in the South with how soft it is. read more

This one's a belter of a place. Ordered takeout and was delivered pretty quickly. I was cocky to think I can handle 'spicy', but the heat was a bit much. Unless you can stuff a raw chilli down your throat, I'd recommend you keep your spice level to'Hot' or below. The chicken was perfectly fries and their sauce was great too. My Boy just moved over there and we were looking for something to eat. We couldn't find anywhere close to walk when we pulled on This spot when I tell you the sandwiches were delicious, from the crunch to the bread and even the sauce they gave us. The chicken was larger than the bun so just know ordering one might fill you and the most important thing is that if you choose hot it will be SPICY not kidding, mild will do enough for the regular hot is like for veteran and spicy is like give me god of war level of heat so be ready. read more

When in jersey city this is the place to try a hot chicken sandwich. If you like spicy they will accommodate you, and if you don't they can cater to that as well. I recommend the combo with two sandwiches and fries, sauce is explosive too. My only downside in this review is that it's on a busy area so parking can be difficult but worth the trip! Service has always been super friendly and quick with our orders. I love going back for more read more

I've literally eaten Chicken sandwiches/sliders from EVERY single national fast food joint and mannny local places all over the East and West Coast, and Twinz Hot Chicken's sliders beat all of them HANDS DOWN! There's absolutely nothing I would change about them! Discovered this place recently through a friend's recommendation and haven't looked back since. For starters, their chicken tenders are SO PERFECTLY cooked that it made me re-evaluate every other time I've had chicken tenders from anywhere else till now. Hitting that level of perfection consistently is what keeps me going back here! The chicken is perfectly cooked, juicy and tender every time - not overcooked in the slightest, nor is the coating too much. Secondly, their spice options are so aptly named and on point. It's tasty AND spicy, not just spicy for the sake of it, like many other "spicy chicken" places do. Their Twinz sauce is also really really good, and so are their fries. If you're lucky enough to find a parking space, when you finally walk in, the restaurant looks relatively small at first as the 1st floor has a few tables, but, they do have a 2nd level as well, which I sat in the previous times I dined here. The menu is a collection of classic Filipino faves, predominantly comprised of pork-based appetizers and entrees, which are the real cornerstones of the Filipino diet. Yes, there are non-pork foods, like chicken adobo, pancit, laing, but, if you're here to really feast, you HAVE to order something with pork in it. It's a rite of passage. On my most recent trip to the restaurant, we arrived at around 12pm on a windy Saturday afternoon and, we were very, very fortunate to get a table for our family of 4 as the restaurant was pretty busy as a large party of about 15 people took up 3 combined tables alone. Yes, it was tasty, but I didn't feel like it was something I couldn't make on my own at home. CLASSIC PORK SISIG Where was the sizzle?????? This was an entrée I was reallllllly looking forward to. I LOVE sisig, especially when it's hot and sizzling, which it was supposed to be, but it was just OK once again. Also, we probably should have ordered the crunchy pork sisig, which is supposed to have bit of lechon crunch in it. It was OK, but we've definitely had much better in terms of heat, flavor and crunch. LARGE GARLIC FRIED RICE Solid garlic fried rice. Honestly, I might have enjoyed this the most - sadly. Make sure to ask for some vinegar on the side as well so that you can let the rice soak it up. Service was good throughout. Our food came out quickly and the waiters/waitresses were attentive. Just wish the food was better than we anticipated.

The views were spectacular, especially at golden hour (obviously sun sets on the NJ side, but the clouds and the light hitting NY were beautiful!) We didn't stay past sunset, but I can already tell the nighttime views must be amazing. This is definitely the kind of spot you'd want for a date night or celebratory dinner. We ordered the calamari, ragu, truffle fries, and a porterhouse to share. We originally asked for the porterhouse cooked medium, but it unfortunately came out well done and extremely dry, so we had to send it back. Thankfully, the manager and server handled everything perfectly and completely won us back with their service. The second steak came out juicy, tender, and full of flavor - exactly how it should've been! The ragu sauce was a little too watery for my taste and probably wouldn't order that again, but the truffle fries were SO good. My friends had also reserved dinner as a birthday surprise, and the management team came out with complimentary cake and house made limoncello, which honestly ended up being one of the best alcoholic drinks of the night. Such a thoughtful touch! Service was top notch from start to finish, and I was told they even have an upstairs venue space for weddings. The outdoor venue area is absolutely beautiful. We also got a chance to check out the rooftop where they have an open bar where the views and vibes were even better! However, it's not always open to the public, so probably have to check with the restaurant beforehand. Looking to come back soon for another celebratory event!

I'll be honest; I didn't anticipate what I received. I was blown away. I contacted my husband after work and asked him to come directly to me because I had heard some friends mention this location today and had been looking to spoil myself a little. We only had to wait for our order for around 8 to 12 minutes, I believe. All it took was that. incredible We ordered two Combo 2 plates with loaded fries and additional chicken tenders. We devoured it all and liked the cuisine, even though I knew it was too much for us. the thin, crispy breading with twinz sauce and dry rub. Definitely worth the trip. read more
