    Churro, Taro, and Tiramisu donut
    Mandi S.

Such a cute, bright and inviting spot! The young woman working was very helpful and friendly. I love Mochi and was excited to try a Korean mochi donut. I ordered the Tiramisu, churro and the taro flavors. The more you order, the more you save. The three pack was $9 so I think the prices are fairly reasonable. The churro was my favorite, my son loved this one too! It was lighter and less dense than the other flavors I tried. I would say I like the taro and tiramisu equally, though I didn't get much of a tiramisu flavor from this donut, it was still yummy. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Hoboken!

Chicken factory!? They really should change their name now as they offer more than just chicken! Super cute, small place that its name doesn't give it enough justice! I can lookinn for mochi donuts in the area and honestly based on their name I wasn't sure if I should even try going in but google and yelp showed me the donuts this place has so I figured why not!? Let's try! And behold! Beautiful case of freshly made donuts! The lady was even still decorating some to put out. We decided to try out more items from the menu upon arriving. Mochi donuts (4/5)--delicious! We loved the salted caramel and black sesame the most. Funnel cake definitely tasted like a funnel cake and the strawberry cheesecake as well had great flavor. Mozzarella Potato crusted Korean hot dog (4/5) loved the sprinkle of sugar! Lunch special with chicken tender pieces (3/5)--I was expecting more rice and coleslaw but overall it was a decent portion but for anyone else who eats a lot this wouldn't be enough food for them. I loved the sweet spicy sauce! The service and food were great that I went again the next day to try some more things: Ramen Korean hot dog 1/2 beef sausage 1/2 mozzarella cheese (2/5) had too much sugar this time around, mozzarella was barely there, and the ramen outside (although tasty) kind of overwhelmed this Korean hot dog all together. Bibimbap (Chicken) 3/5-I loved the amount of vegetables in it and the portion size that came with rice on the side, the chicken was crispy but felt like I was eating more of the breading than the actual chicken so that was a bummer but the rice was cooked nicely. Rose milk tea was delicious! As well as the matcha!

I can't believe this place is called Chicken Factory, becuase they have the most incredible mochi donuts! This was my first time ever trying a mochi donut, and I was impressed. I got three flavors to go: passion fruit, strawberry, and matcha. The donuts themselves were light and fluffy. If you're craving a desert that's not too sweet, these are going to be a perfect fit. My favorite was the passion fruit, followed by the strawberry. I tend to love matcha flavored things but I could barely taste the matcha in the mochi donut. Next time, I would skip the match altogether. They have their own delivery system, which also makes ordering from here super convinient. I recommend that you give it a try!

Ordered half spicy and half soy sauce chicken wings and thighs. The spicy one was much more delicious than the soy sauce. The portions were big and substantial. The skin was crispy and tasty. But I believe I had better ones at Mad for Chicken in NY...

As a heads up, the restaurant is being renamed to Mochi Tori but that is pending. They said they used to sell primarily Korean Fried Chicken but now are expanding to also have Mochi Doughnuts, Mochi ice cream, Korean Corn Dog, and keeping the Korean Fried Chicken. Food (4/5): Ordered the milk and cookies mochi doughnut which was delicious. The doughnut had a good texture and was a good amount of sweetness. The Korean Corn Dog took a while to come out and was pretty good but they had limited sauce options, it's smaller, and the cheese wasn't as melty. Service (4/5): Friendly and helpful service. We were able to get the mochi doughnut immediately as expected but the Korean Corn Dog took a while at almost 10 minutes. Ambiance (4/5): Cute store with a nice wall of flowers and vividly decorated. I liked the display of mochi donuts when you walk in. It's a bit small with limited indoor and outdoor seating.

delicious food! and the woman working is so sweet. this place really deserves more recognition!! i got the half and half and full beef corndogs and both were a genuine 10/10. i eat korean corn dogs a lot and this place genuinely had great food. the corndogs were crispy, shockingly perfect texture. it wasn't doughy and wet inside (like a lot of other places) and the flavors of the sauces they had were great as well. my partner and I went "mmmmm" with each bite which is so rare when it comes to food. I've tried about 15 or more different korean corn dog places and this really is on the top. nice atmosphere as well. good experience and delicious food + good boba as well! i hope this place gets more customers soon because it's well deserved! and the food came out quick. I will definitely come back for more and recommend you trying it out!

Cute Korean restaurant on the Washington street strip. I had the spicy fried chicken wings with white rice and Cole slaw. The chicken was spicy sweet and fresh and good. Next time I will try the unique hot dogs or the mochi donuts. The place is clean and the location is great on Washington street down the street from Steven's Institute

This place has some of the lightest and most delicious Korean corndogs I have had. I usually can't have more than a couple bites of fried food because it can be heavy and greasy but the corndogs here are perfectly made and don't leave you with that guilty feeling. They also have a delicious assortment of mochi donuts!

Editing this review to express my disappointment. Was my favorite korean wing restaurant but not anymore. Checked-in and received the free drink prompt. Before checking out, I showed the woman behind the register. She didnt want to honor it and claimed that they aren't even on Yelp (but yet here we are). She wasnt making much sense but finally agreed. We had a large order of wings, 3 korean hot dogs and purchased 2 drinks, one was compd. I was just really disappointed in her response. Wings were mediocre- I remember them being a lot better. The half cheese, half hot dog was really good. Also peeved by all the "don't" signs. "Don't touch the flower wall", "don't touch display", "don't lean on glass", "put sauces back". Feels very condescending.

Reviewing a takeout - My food came fairly quickly which I was grateful for! I got the boneless half soy garlic and half sweet & spicy. Both were nicely fried, really juicy, and just the amount of sauce. Very yummy, would definitely order from here again.

This was my first time ordering from here. I normally go to Fort Lee or the city for Korean food. This is a great place to get your fast food Korean fix! But here's the thing-I would have come here sooner but your name does not indicate that it makes Korean food! I always thought this was a regular fried chicken place like the old Chicken Delight I bet if you changed your name you would get more customers. I had the bulgogi bipimbap which came on a huge bowl. I was impressed with the portion. The veggies and bulgogi were cold though. Probably because it cooled off during delivery. The bulgogi is ground up. I'll come back with my husband to try the wings. Thank you!

The food was so good definitely recommend getting the sweet and spicy chicken, the small box is enough for one or two people. The mochi doughnut was soft and sweet. I only had to wait 15 minutes for my food. The area is small but they have three small tables for two. Overall great, only issue was the server was mostly on a personal phone call.

Soy Garlic chicken and fries were delicious! I also ordered the mochi donuts I ordered 3 (Taro, Fruity Pepples and Strawberry cheesecake) omg soooo good!! You can tell from the photo they're delicious - Perfect mochi texture (chewy, bouncy) like if a donut married a marshmallow lol!

Since my last visit, I had only ventured there once for a drink, but it had been far from a first choice. I loved that they had live music and a casual vibe, but my past culinary experience had been a letdown. However, I was very pleasantly surprised on my recent excursion. We grabbed seats at the rustic bar and enjoyed friendly service and pints of Kane Head High, my favorite beer. The crisp, refreshing brew went well with my cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. While that might sound like an odd "snack", I selected it because it was one of the few appetizers on the menu that was not fried. The broth seemed to interestingly be made of tomatoes and potentially other vegetables. It was packed with large, spiral noodles, shredded chicken, and fresh spinach. It was an interesting rendition for sure, but it was also very tasty, despite the fact that it was rather greasy. I was also bummed that it did not have more chicken and that it had not been served with any crackers. Oh well! Overall, it at least had left me with a much better impression than my last trip had.

There was only one other family dining, and the space stayed empty the entire time. The service was genuinely great. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a really cute, cozy space. I especially loved the Christmas décor and overall vibe--it felt warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the prices. The house salad was $13 and honestly one of the most basic, smallest, and most boring salads I've ever had--very underwhelming for the cost. We also ordered quesadillas, a cheeseburger with fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup. My son enjoyed the burger and fries, and the quesadillas were flavorful, generously filled with chicken and veggies, and came with sour cream, pico, and guac. The tomato soup was tasty, while the grilled cheese was just okay. One small but appreciated detail: canned soda. Cold, crisp, and not flat which is always a win. Lunch for 3 came in just under $100, which felt high given what we received. One frustration was being seated in a tight corner right next to the kitchen even though the dining room was completely empty. We were so close I could literally see into the kitchen and count items on the shelves. On top of that, the hostess repeatedly walked by calling out "corner," which became distracting and honestly a bit irritating. Overall, I liked the vibe, but the food-to-price ratio missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad--just alright.

I've been in Philadelphia numerous times and have never felt an urge to sample for myself and decide which of the "famous" cheesesteak competitors in the city, across the street from each other-- Pat's or Geno's--- is actually the "superior" one. Couldn't have been less interested (unless it was someone offering me free tickets to an Eagles game; THAT I would have been less interested in, given my near-total boredom when it comes to sports of any kind). I did go through a phase during my college years (money ill-spent, given my subsequent "career" trajectory) where I ate lunch often in the cafeteria and invariably ordered a cheesesteak and a piece of German chocolate cake. Not quite sure at this late date what that was all about, but let's just say it's not one of my admittedly few "treasured" memories. Having said all that, I did order food the other day from Midtown Philly and was well satisfied. I was at work in Hoboken, suffering through yet another migraine and the nauseating effects of the medication I take for it (I really should have been home in bed, but if I take off every day I have a migraine...which is usually every single week and occasionally 2 or 3 days in a row...I'd be out of my job in no time at all). As I've perhaps mentioned in previous reviews, when I am in the throes of a migraine, it almost never proves deleterious to my appetite. If anything, it enhances it. I glanced over at my co-worker/friend, the former Godfather of Lunch (in his newly found sobriety from gluttony, he has sworn off ordering food to be delivered to our office, calling it "stress eating"). Not expecting an affirmative response, I asked, "You feel like ordering out?" Surprisingly, he immediately replied, "OK. We can't order Lo Fatt Chow anymore. What does that leave?" "What do you want?" He mentioned Midtown Philly. We had ordered from there before, a long time ago, and I hadn't disliked it, but...as I've said...I rarely, when hungry, say to myself, "What I need right now is a cheesesteak." This time, though, it seemed like an inviting and inspired change of pace, and I responded, "Ok. Let's do it." I ordered a Pittsburgh cheesesteak, which was the steak (ribeye, as I've learned-- not Steak-umm's, as I once thought), cheese, and tricolor coleslaw. The sandwich was just enough-- not enough to be uncomfortably over-filling, not skimpy enough to leave one hungry and feeling cheated. It was a moist, flavorful sandwich that did assuage my hunger, and left me thinking, "Maybe I need to re-think this lifelong indifference to Philly cheesesteaks!" It was helped by a plentiful side order of French Fries (they have a decent side order selection to choose from, if one is so inclined), which were crisp, just as I like them. They were too many of them, in fact, and I unloaded some on the Godfather, who in turn spooned over his tomatoes to me (don't ask me to explain his antipathy to tomatoes; I don't know! Tomatoes are one of the very few things he won't eat). I also had a lemon-lime Gatorade, which sometimes helps soothe (or so I've thought) a migraine, the electrolyte draining preparation for a colonoscopy, and...in the past...the fierce hangover left by an overindulgence the previous night in alcohol and opioids. I'm unsure what the Godfather ordered-- either the Diablo cheesesteak or the Volcano cheesesteak-- but it was ... obviously, given the name they've bestowed upon it...very, very hot indeed. Not something my delicate digestive system would have been able to handle (although I do sometimes wish fervently that I could still eat like that). However, the Godfather pronounced himself well satisfied on finishing it and he wasn't breathing fire in my direction. This was one time he didn't chastise me for "pushing" him into ordering food. They have other items one can order, like Hoagies-- including "Sinatra's Hoagie" (of course; it's Hoboken, after all!), which consists of ham, Genova salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, raw onions, olive oil, red wine vinegar. Next time, I might be tempted to order it. Salads too. And desserts. Prices were reasonable, delivery was quick and efficient, and the food really hit the spot, making the agony of my medicated migraine less intense and debilitating than it otherwise would have been. I very much recommend Midtown Philly. I look forward to ordering from there again, and I won't let a few years go by before I do so. And it has the enthusiastic seal of approval from the former Godfather of Lunch! What other recommendation do you really need?

Allow me to walk you through the absurdity that was my attempt to eat a Sicilian Pizza: 1) Ordered said Sicilian Pizza for 8:30 pick-up. Arrived, only to be told it's not ready. It was actually quite clear they had not started. Because at Wings To Go, "on time" means "give us another 15 minutes." I shrugged it off. Okay, people make mistakes. I'll wait. 2) 20 minutes later, it's finally ready. I pick up order and go home. Arrived home to find a plain cheese pizza. Evidently, "Sicilian" means "whatever the chef feels like making" at Wings To Go. 3) Called, baffled, only to hear the chef decided cheese would be quicker (evidently bc they forgot to start my order when I had arrived). Rather than be straightforward and say that a Sicilian would be another hour, they INTENTIONALLY decided to make something I did not even order and hoped I wouldn't notice. The convenience / saving face of the chef is clearly priority number one. 4) I demanded a refund only to be told I'd have to DRIVE back with the wrong pizza to get that. Apparently, customer satisfaction takes a back seat to scavenger hunts at Wings To Go. I said okay ... that's ridiculous. I'm not going drive home to give you back an order that you accidentally screwed up, let alone PURPOSELY screwed up. 5) Okay, if no refund is possible ... I suggested they make me a Sicilian later some other night. I did not want to be difficult. They said no, it has to be TONIGHT (it was almost 10 pm)! As if I'm going to waste another 90 minutes of time. They refused, offering a overly generous 15% discount for my next order. Consistency in disappointing customers must be their motto. If you're interested in playing Pizza Mystery Box with your dinner, Wings To Go has you covered. If you actually want what you order, perhaps consider an establishment that understands the definition of "order." The audacity of this experience left me more bewildered than satisfied.
