I am SO lucky to have found Malinda (Twist A Lot) over at a restaurant in Orange, CA... She was going around from table to table making Balloon art and I was AMAZED! I Don't have a need for balloon animals everyday, but as soon I had an occasion, She was the first person I thought of for entertainment. We had over for my Mother's 50th Birthday party and she was a BIG HIT! There were about 20 of us and she made everyone exactly what they wanted, quickly and beautifully! I saw Malinda at a company event and put her on my radar for any future events I might want to throw. My wedding was approaching and I thought, "I need Malinda there!!!" Her work is just AMAZING. Communicating with her was super easy and she gives off a very kind, positive vibe. When I first reached out to her, she wanted to know the details of the wedding and even what our theme and colors were. She's very thoughtful! On wedding day, I saw her enter from the corner of my eye and she did not waste any time approaching children and getting started! I really appreciated that since we had close to 300 guests and my hopes were that many children/adults would get one of her creations if they wanted. Her starting without hesitation just shows how wonderful she is! When you think of balloon twisting, you might think of dogs or swords. Malinda's talent is x100000 -- literally!!! I saw kids with balloon jet packs, monkeys in palm trees, crazy hats, etc. Not only can she shape the balloons, but she draws on them, really making the creation come alive!! It's now a couple weeks after the wedding and I still have friends and family commenting on how great of an asset she was to the wedding. Malinda was awesome, and very helpful/easy during the booking process. I was lucky to get a Sunday, late afternoon slot within just a WEEK of my daughters 1st birthday. The party was planned last minute & I was so relieved I found Twist A Lot, as her work is amazing and price is reasonable. It was a success & all the kids/parents loved their balloons. They all got just what they asked for. (I will look for pictures of balloons I have, and update my post) but would definitely recommend Twist A Lot. Another weird thing I needed to do for work.. I needed to find already made balloon animals... Instead of asking WHYYYYY, I googled a solution and found Malinda. A real sweetheart, let me tell you. Before I gave her a call, I had balloon artists try to charge me up the wazoo for three little simple balloon dogs.. $125? Please, I'll buy a book and teach myself how to do it for 15 bucks... Then I found Malinda. She laughed when I told her why I needed it and she was more than happy to help me at a wonderful price to boot! She was fast and efficient and I was more than pleasantly surprised by what I got back! I got three wonderfully detailed balloon dogs w/painted eyes AND some little puppies :) How adorable! I also appreciated her quick turn around, efficiency and attention to detail - she asked me if I needed them in any specific color. Incredible experience! Malinda came to our wedding and quickly entertained all of the children, with plenty of time left over to entertain the adults (who were equally smitten with her). Procrastination got the best of me and I called around looking for a balloon artist to come in for a party... for the following day! Not to my surprise, everyone was booked on a Saturday afternoon, including Malinda. BUT Malinda was very sweet and understanding and even offered to ask around from her own contact list to find an artist for my party! She seriously went above and beyond! She truly is dedicated to her business and supports others as well! In conclusion, she did call me back and found someone to work with me and my last minute request! Yesterday I hired Melinda from Twist A Lot to entertain and provide balloon figures for our daughter's 4th grade last day of school party, and all of the parents really enjoyed the amazing items she made for all of the kids. We seriously had THE BEST TIME!! The children were so excited and happy, she makes great everything really special. Malinda was absolutely amazing, I loved her!!! I had a transformer theme birthday and she showed up with an Optimus Prime balloon figure that was almost as tall as the 8 year old birthday boy and it had glowing lights and a removable balloon gun. She probably used about 50+ balloons to make it and it was so intricate and detailed. She was very good with the kids and able to handle them really well. We had 20 kids and she told them to tell her what she wanted and she wrote it down and told them to go play this way they didn't have to stand in line. When the kids asked for a 2nd balloon she was able to easily handle the situation and told them that we were going to wait until everyone else got one first before anyone got seconds. She used very sturdy balloons that were bigger and thicker than the normal balloons that are used! Some of the most popular balloons were a jetpack that went on like a back pack and a huge sword that some of the boys chose. Another one was an orange octopus complete with white stickers. An adorable Tinkerbell with little pink slippers and cute yellow hair and a green dress. Some of the other favorites were the giraffe and a purple elephant and a huge lion! All in all she was able to make about 35-45 detailed amazing balloon creations in only an hour and a half including the big Transformer balloon that she pre-made. The parents were amazed and said that she was the best balloon creator that they had seen. I got so many compliments for hiring her and it really added to the party. She is so professional and kind and amazing at what she does. Since this party was for children it was especially important to me that the kids felt comfortable with her. My expectations were exceeded in every way and I would definitely recommend her for a party or an event plus I hope to have her back at the next party! read more

We had Malinda make balloon art (and I say art, cause what she does is truly amazing) for our daughter's 3rd birthday. Not only where all the kids super amazed, but every parent was too. She delighted all the kids with such amazing balloon characters, wearable balloons, hats and everything in between. She created so many different characters, Disney princesses and she was even able to create one request from a picture off a cell phone. Malinda is also super sweet, patient and fun for all the kids.
