They have a chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken special, which is $12.99, comes with 2 sides. My hub and I shared this meal and also ordered a BBQ burger, comes with thick bacon. We substituted onion rings at an upcharge. The steak wasn't too tender, but it was large and crispy. It was a bit underseasoned. The white cream gravy had that home cookn grease flavor. My hub liked the Italian style green beans, I felt they were too salty. The burger stole the show. We will go back for that. It's a charcoal burger with pretty good BBQ sauce. The cheddar cheese was melted and even though the menu doesn't say it, it comes with lettuce, tomato, pickle, red onion. I liked the onion rings. The server was nice and attentive.

Peach cobbler: 9/10 just the right sweetness. Hint of lemon. Cinnamon, brown sugar.. seasoned well. Great flavor. This is not a traditional peach cobbler due to the pie crust not being present. This one has more of a dump cake consistency. Still well worth trying and enjoying.

The green beans with smoked turkey are a must every time; honestly, even a medium isn't enough for me. I could finish a large on my own without a problem. And the turkey leg? Huge. It's easily enough to share with two or even three people. It's comforting to have a place like this right here in our town.
