Server was excellent. Hostesses on it. And the food was delicious. I had very berry waffles and it was perfect and light and fluffy with tons of fresh berries on top. Definitely coming back here

Our family is always looking to break bread after church and we found a new place in the adjacent city of Wylie. We tried to go but there was a wait list both times. We finally visited but it was still full which speaks volumes for the restaurant. Parking is an issue since it's located in a strip mall area. You will have to park a distance from the main entrance. Your name will be taken and they will call you when you are next. While you wait, you can use the restroom that is located on the opposite end of the main doors. Our server was quick and brought us menus and waters to the table. We ordered basic breakfast food and i had the skillet which all were good. For the 4 of us it was $58 plus tip. If you are in the area, its a thumbs up.

Starwood Cafe is a cute and trendy breakfast restaurant in the Wylie area! My husband and driven past this restaurant countless times and decided to come out for a breakfast date. The restaurant was very busy Saturday morning (around 10:30 AM). Despite this, we were pleasantly surprised that a table was available within 5 minutes of walking in. Our server was very attentive and brought us water right away. I ordered the breakfast panini, which had pepper jack cheese, eggs, bacon, and pickled jalapeño. The sandwich was good. The portion was pretty generous, and I definitely had leftovers at the end of my meal! Parking was easy. There was plenty of parking around (private lot).

Today, my wife and I tried Starwood Cafe in Wylie for the first time. If memory serves me, there was a location in nearby Murphy prior to COVID, but that location closed. I had eaten at that location and had a positive experience, so that today was also good, was no real surprise. We went in today for breakfast, at brunch time. We started with a great cup of Segafredo Zanetti coffee, which as it goes with most European coffees was great! For our meals, my wife ordered the Avocado Bacon Omelette with Sourdough Toast. I ordered the Cowboy Skillet with Sourdough Toast. Both of our meals were very good, despite us needing to wait a few minutes for my wife's order to be corrected. For whatever reason, they first brought out a Denver Omelette for her, but within five minutes we were able to both begin eating. And, as a major plus, the Server apologized and verified everything was to our satisfaction. Some may scoff at my being a bit of a snoot in this regard, but acknowledging a mistake - regardless how small - can be a make or break moment! Our Server "made" the moment!! The avocado slices on my wife's omelette were large and perfectly ripened. She says they were delicious! My wife also appreciated that her Hash Browns were perfectly crisped without being overly done. Both of us also really enjoyed the Sourdough Toast. My Cowboy "Skillet" was served more so in somewhat of shallow tin bowl with handles, than it was a skillet, but I was okay with it. The construction did not really lend itself to my being able to use my knife as a "pusher," so I was relegated to chasing my food around the bowl with my fork a little bit. That, because I opted not to use my spoon. As I alluded to, the service was very good. The restaurant was very clean and we ended with full bellies and smiles on our faces! With the tip , our breakfast came in just under $50. We will definitely be eating at Starwood Cafe again, just not as often as we'd like, because like most people, for us it is a bit steep, but the quality is on par! If you decide to give Starwood Cafe a try, I hope you will have as positive experience as we have had and enjoy your visit! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

Ordered a to go order for a Monte Cristo sandwich and some sweet potato fries and was super disappointed when I got home. The bread was seriously burned with all the bacon stacked up in one pile instead of even slightly spread out and the fries were beyond sad and droopy. Not a bit crunchy and I only live about 8 minutes from the pickup. This is the only time I've had such a sad order from them. I do still recommend them as their food is normally absolutely wonderful whether eating at the restaurant for taking home. This time was just a very big disappointment. The staff is always nice. The orange juice always awesome. And the food typically usually very good.

My husband and I were visiting my dad and we decided to try somewhere new for breakfast - we saw some of the specialty coffees and decided to try Starwood! We were pleasantly surprised to just be able to walk in and sit down on a Friday morning, and at how friendly the staff were. Our waiter was prompt and kind, and the food was great. I ordered the Very Berry French Toast - two large slices of French toast with GIANT berries and a raspberry and vanilla drizzle on top - and an order of hash browns, my husband got the chicken fried steak and eggs, and my dad got the country breakfast (he said the grits were *excellent* which is high praise from him!) My husband and I also tried two of their specialty coffees: I had the Dulce De Leche Hazelnut Latte, and he tried the S'more's Mocha (they're both on the VERY sweet side, so if you're a bitter coffee person, you should try their house coffee). Starwood seems to be on the newer side, and it was super bright and cozy on the inside - lots of windows, comfortable booths with pillows and lots of cute potted plants and decor. We definitely want to come back again!

Arrived on a Sunday shortly after 8am. It was not very busy (before the "church crowd".) The pancakes were super fluffy, the chicken fried steak ratio was 90:10 (perfect for me- I love a little extra crisp all by itself with the gravy), the eggs were flavorful so I didn't need to add pepper like I usually do, and the choice of sourdough over white/wheat toast was an excellent choice.

Went to Starwood Cafe today and it definitely did not disappoint. Tbe staff were attentive and super friendly. I love all the natural sunlight that comes into place and it was cute. The food was great as well. I got the steak and eggs and it was so good. Finished that. The biscuit and gravy was good as well. Love that they stuck with the traditional concept of biscuit and gravy. Would come back!

Excellent service! Very attentive and extremely friendly! Restaurant is new and clean. I had the bacon & eggs breakfast meal. Love that they mixed the cheese into the grits instead of just adding to the top. Very berry crepe was good, not the best, but good enough for me to bring home to finish later.

Absolutely loved this cafe! The service was perfect attentive & friendly from start to finish. The food was delicious, my migas & hash browns were packed with flavor. Highly recommend if you're looking for a satisfying breakfast or lunch, tasty place!

We also received a complementary hummus because we had to wait a while due to the rice not being cooked yet. I didn't mind and the server was really kind to us. The absolute star of the menu is the Greek fries. The garlic sauce that is used is one of the best garlic sauces I have tried. The crinkle cut fries are the perfect choice as the vessel of flavors for the garlic, feta, seasonings, and fresh parsley. I would go out of my way to get these fries. The vegetarian plate has a great balance of different options. The falafel was light and crisp with a great flavor. The dolmas were not too sour and I really enjoyed it. The baba ganoush had a mild smoky flavor that I really liked and really needed in this dish!! The pickles were flavorful and had a good crunch. The hummus was nutty and creamy. My only problem with this dish was the surprisingly small portion of rice. It needed double the rice to help with the portions of all the other elements. The gyro plate was very good however the portion of meal was surprisingly small. I read reviews about how they filled their plates with good portions of meat and toppings however the amount we were served felt like we were being rationed. The restaurant for the most part was clean. There were just a few clutter of boxes in the back of the restaurant on the way to the bathrooms. The restrooms were also clean. I would definitely come back and try the chicken and beef options as well as come back for those wonderful Greek fries.

I liked it alot! First off, I love waiters who know the menu. She gave lots of details to our questions. The bartender also amazing. Food items we had and recommend: - the Mexican chopped salad with shrimp and guacamole - the loaded nachos with brisket - the brisket tacos I saw other reviewers complain about the brisket, but I wholeheartedly disagree- I thought the meat was tender and flavorful. No one actually seated us -- we were just pointed toward a table. No menus were given. Cornbread was dropped off, still no menus. I eventually had to get up and grab them myself from the host stand. They apologized, but even then, they simply handed them to me instead of bringing them over. It wasn't busy, and I'm extremely patient -- I was a server for years -- but this was frustrating. It took about 10-15 minutes before anyone came by. Our server was friendly, but he didn't write anything down for our party of seven, and we ended up repeating our drink order. That should have been the first sign of how the rest of the night would go. We ordered the platter ($23), and the portion was surprisingly small: two BBQ meatballs, two mac and cheese bites, queso, and a tiny basket of chips. The food runner who dropped off the meals was rude, and the portion sizes overall were shockingly small for the price. The only dishes that felt worth ordering were the penne pasta and the pork chops. The short rib tasted great, but for $30, the portion was extremely underwhelming. When we ordered another round of drinks, mine was forgotten -- again, likely because nothing was written down. I had to let our server know it never arrived. He apologized and came back to say the bartender was busy and working on it. The bartender eventually brought it out personally. What really added to the disappointment was that the server noticed we had gifts and asked what we were celebrating -- but this was after we were already paying and packing up. I had noted on the reservation that we were celebrating Mother's Day, but even without that, it's something you typically acknowledge at the beginning of the meal, not at the very end. And based on other reviews I've read, this seems to be a pattern: instead of genuinely trying to fix issues, they either apologize in a way that feels empty or blame the customer for their experience. So I'm sure they'll have something to say about this review too. Can't wait for the response. Do better. Also, be aware -- because they do NOT mention this -- that parties of six or more are automatically charged a 20% gratuity. With the level of service we received, it felt unfair. If you're going to charge high prices, the service needs to reflect that. It didn't. We won't be returning. And honestly, the 1‑star reviews are accurate. Just prepare yourself. $400 dinner for lack luster experience ‍

There is a certain energy in a restaurant when people trust it, and Creekside has that. We started with the crab and shrimp dip, which came out hot, creamy, and loaded with flavor. It is one of those appetizers that everyone at the table keeps going back to without even thinking about it. For dinner, we ordered the Red Snapper Alexander and the chicken cutlet parmesan, and this is where the night really took off. The red snapper was cooked perfectly, topped with sautéed shrimp in a white wine sauce that added flavor without overwhelming the fish. The balance was impressive, and the presentation matched what you would expect from a much higher priced restaurant. Then there was the chicken parmesan. As Italians, we do not say this lightly, but this dish stood out in a big way. Creekside blends Alfredo and marinara into a creamy, well-balanced sauce that takes a classic and elevates it. The chicken was lightly breaded, the mozzarella was fresh, and every bite delivered. We awarded this dish our Best of the Best for Chicken Parmesan, and that is something we reserve for dishes that truly separate themselves from the rest. Service was excellent throughout the night. Our server Erin was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped guide us to some great choices. One small note, the fish and chips did not quite match the level we had experienced on a previous visit. It was still good, just not at the same level we had come to expect. That said, it did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic meal. If you are looking for a place that delivers an upscale feel without the upscale price tag, this is it. Great for date nights, family dinners, or just a night out where you want consistently good food.
