Anytime I get doordash credits from work, I order from here. Always fast service and the meals I have tried are good. I ordered their pineapple fried rice which is excellent. I also got a noodle dish this time that was excellent.

Twisty Thai Drop by today. Small place but good food. Good curry. I only had the chance to try their Gang Gai or chicken red curry, which was sweet and good. It taste like it suppose to taste. Good to know I have a Thai restaurant a block from my work. Excellent. Hmong family owned which is good. Hmong can run good thai restaurants. Keep up the quality! Highly recommended

Hey! Thai food all the way out in New Haven and it's actually not half bad! Seems like they mostly do takeout. There's only 3, maybe 4 tables in the joint and all three times I've dined there they've served me my food in to go containers. That's fine as I almost always have leftovers to take with me. Their portions here aren't the best but even still it's somewhere between a snack and a light meal later. Spice levels are set to white people tolerance; this cracker with lots of experience eating Thai can manage hot. I've had Pad Thai, a fried rice dish and a red sauce on veggies with white rice on the side meal, every time with shrimp. It's been nice and flavorful each time. Portions for shrimp are a bit skimpy, even beyond the somewhat skimpy amount most places give which is always less than the servings of chicken or beef. Decor is pretty bare bones, although they did have some cute Halloween decor out front facing the parking lot and a stylish chalkboard proclaiming SPOOKY SZN when I was there in October. Whoever the artist is seemingly hadn't time yet for a big revamp when I was there in early November. I wonder if it's the young lady who was wearing a t shirt with part of the cover of the 100th issue of Iron Man depicting Tony Stark breaking apart a big steel girder with his not so bare hands. I drew an homage to that image once so it caught my eye and I complimented it. There always seems to be a couple kids always hanging out here. It doesn't bother me any but I do hope this business takes off enough for them to afford a babysitter or day care. No public restroom here which is my biggest knock against the place. I even looked it up wondering about the legality of that and Michigan doesn't require restaurants to have customer restrooms. I thought maybe that was the case only if they sat under a certain amount of people as Telway on Michigan Ave has a very small capacity like here and has no bathroom. But it's not required regardless of capacity in this state. A little crazy if you ask me, especially if it's someplace serving greasy sliders or spicy Thai food, stuff that might be going through someone pretty quickly. The one time this was an issue for me at Twisty Thai I was heading to the Stahls Automotive Museum nearby and I was able to hold off but that still bothered me a bit so word to the wise. I don't know when I'll be back in New Haven again but Twisty Thai is on my radar now and I wouldn't mind dining here again if I'm in this neck of the woods.

Great food. Hot and spicy to your liking. Best for carry out. Not much room inside. Delicious peanut sauce.

The birria ramen was interesting, the meat was chunked, not shredded and the broth had flavors of clove or cinnamon- was not expecting that and I did not care for it. As for the Cheeseburger buns with the mayo type sauce we all thought they were horrible. The katsu was good still - yay. I used to crave this place and tell everyone about it when it was New Age Noodles and now I have zero desire to go back since the menu change/ rebranding. Sad. RIP.

It has a smaller…read moremenu, but typically offers specials, a monthly brunch, and even occasional "menu takeovers" that get announced on its Facebook page. On our most recent visit, my wife and I started the meal with grandmas eggrolls and steam buns. The buns have a "rotating flavor," which was pork this time around. Both apps were enjoyable, but the steam buns could've used more pork. For our entrees, we ordered the almond boneless dunkers and the pork katsu. Both entrees came with rice, which had above average flavor and texture. The katsu was delicious, and is hands down the best dish I've had here. The dunkers were pretty sizable compared to other restaurants' ABC, but the gravy it came with had an unpleasant, metallic taste. Overall, New Age Noodles is a good restaurant. I will say, I would like to see some of the specials become permanent menu items.

And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.

This place is absolutely my vibe. The staff are fantastic, friendly, and very skilled at their jobs. Beverages were refilled, we were checked in with, and felt taken care of. The real star of the show was the food. I came with two of my sons, and we all really enjoyed our ramen bowls. Hubby and I laughed at how many times we zipped past the restaurant without noticing it. My husband and I both ordered the Major Tom Khatsu, which has a coconut chicken broth base. The chicken katsu pieces were the perfect level of crispy without being heavily breaded. There was also a nice little kick to the dish, which made it so, so yummy. Our friends got the Shoyu ramen with pork belly, and the Corned Beef ramen. The Shoyu dish seemed to be more enjoyable. Though we stuck with water, cans of Faygo pop seemed to be the drink offerings - other than alcoholic beverages. Areas for improvement include the waiting. Johnny Noodle King is a small place, with a main dining area and then what seems to be a bar area attached. We initially waited by the door for our table along with another small group (we were a party of four). We were then asked to go to the bar area to wait so that it would clear the door, but found it interesting how we were asked to move but not the other group. Also, we were standing away from the doormat we were not obstructing anyone's movements. The wait was long, and we asked if we could order food to the bar area (as opposed to waiting for a table). We were told 'no', yet there was a table full of patrons who were eating. There was no notification system, so our friend had to keep going to the front to see if our table was ready. Don't get me wrong; 'hooray' to Johnny Noodle King for having such great business volume. However, they need a way to manage it so that people will not be put off. Once we were seated, we did have good service from our waitstaff, and the food was very good. My husband and I plan to return to explore more of the menu. Hopefully, we can pick a time of day when waiting won't be such a big issue.

Their online menu does not have the pictures that the in store one has and woowee it is a lot of choices of noodles! Amongst the 4 of us, we ordered the pork tip noodle, the Peking pork (zhajiangmian), hot oil wide noodle, beef tendon knife noodle. YUM! The noodles are handmade, handpulled and you can customize the shape and thickness you want! The portions as you can see are massive and the prices are very reasonable! $14/$15 a bowl! My pork rib tips were too tough but still seasoned. I would say their Peking style zhajiangmian is pleasantly less authentic and I liked this version better than the original! It included a braised full egg, and not too much of the cloyingly sweet and intense sauce. We ordered and within 2 minutes we were served fresh bowls of piping hot noods. Our server was efficient, warm, knowledgeable and bilingual. She said I looked like a popular Hong Kong singer, like OMG what a cute compliment! There was convenient parking and it was really close to my friend's house. Highly recommend!
