I've had pad Thai from many places and I can say that Bangkok is my top favorite but it's the only dish I can speak for! The spice levels are right on point and they never miss on the flavor. Take out | Dinner | $30-50 I have been going here for years and it used to be my favorite Thai Restaurant. I introduced the Restaurant to lots of family and friends who used to feel the same way. Service has always been great; however, I just ordered Beef Pad Se Yew and Chicken Pad Thai both with extra sauce. First, I was charged $2.00 for the Beef when the menus said it was $1.00. I questioned the cashier and she didn't know what to do. I paid for the Xtra Sauce and I've had a problem doing so. There was hardly no sauce on both orders. For $15.00 each plus $2.00 for beef and $2.00 for extra sauce, there were only 6 small pieces of chicken and 6 small pieces of beef, 4 very small pieces of broccoli and neither of us could find the eggs in either order. It's bad enough that the prices went up but the dinner portions now look like the lunch portions, you definitely don't get what you paid for, and it's basically just noodles now!!! Oh, and the food is extremely salty now!! The cashier did tell me that the new owner raised all the prices. All of ny family and friends already stopped going here and I guess it's time for us to find a new Thai restaurant. read more

I've been to BC countless times over the years, but have yet to review the place - time to do that. This restaurant has really good Thai food. All BC restaurants do. This one doesn't have the ambiance of the Washington Twp location, but the food is just as stellar. BC does Thai right, and does it consistently. I've been dining with them since the 90s, and I have never ever had a bad meal or service - or even a mistake on a carryout order. I have a higher spice tolerance, so I order medium plus or hot. Hot will make my eyes water, haha. My favorites: Pad Ped: eggplant, peppers, onions and choice of meat (I go with shrimp or chicken) in a coconut milk and red curry sauce - it's amazing. If you like eggplant, get this dish. Thank me later ;) The crispy rolls are very good. Shrimp fried rice with basil is another go to. Of course, the curry noodles and Pad Thai are awesome. (And this place uses really nice plump shrimp, and they aren't stingy with it.) Thai iced tea is a must with spicy food. I wish I could buy a gallon of this stuff! Used to get a carry out all the time. Limited coming here due to last few times food was going down, was great, became mediocre at best at the time. Came again today with hopes the food got better. NEGATIVE! It actually got worse! Ordered Pad Thai chicken and beef with no veggies, HOT, got home and the spice is probably mild + at best. Ordered Bangkok chicken HOT, same thing mild + at best, and the sauce was runny, chick not even close to krispy as it used to be! Will not be going back ever again! I have ordered from here several times in the past. OMG I just ordered Pad Cashew and it is delectable. SO GOOD. Tons of Cashews. The sauce is perfect -I love spicy so it's just how I ordered, medium spice. Rice is fresh. Super delicious-and I ordered the Hot and Soup soup-at the whole thing! We also always order Preaw Warn-its like sweet and spicy with Tomatoes, Onions Cucumbers and green onion with chicken. Never disappoints. I ordered the chicken pad thai. Once I started eating it, I noticed it tasted different than normal. It had so much grease or oil in it I couldn't' even eat it! When I called to tell them, the person on the phone stated that's how they always make it and the manager said I have to bring it back so they can see it then remake it. Pretty hard to do when I'm at work. $16 dollars down the drain with a nasty aftertaste. Save your money and tastebuds and go somewhere else! read more

Best Thai I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend the Pad Prik King and Kow Pad.

We visited this place frequently, but the last two times have been horrible. We spent 42 dollars and ended up getting burned crispy rolls with rice that wasn't at all seasoned and severely undercooked protein. The last two times we have gotten it, we both have gotten sick. I give this two starts because it used to be good. It just isn't anymore. When paying this last time, the guy gave me attitude for wanting my change back and made a smart remark about it. I had the curry noodles with chicken, and medium spice. Def plenty spicy, and the favor was amazing. Not dry and not soupy, perfect.

I went there for the hot and sour soup, as it's the only thing that stays down when I don't feel well. I ended up getting the hot and sour soup, as well as the Tom Yum. Both were great. The hot and sour was a little sweeter than I am used to from traditional Chinese restaurants, but this was still very good. The staff was working hard, and the front of house was really nice. Ugh. I was hungry for a quick meal, and they were very quick in making my Pad Thai with tofu. The gentleman who took my order and kept returning to my table to check in was very nice and helpful. But the food was just not good. The sauce was ridiculously sweet - as in super crazy sweet, unlike any Pad Thai sauce I've ever had. No heat whatsoever (ordered medium), so the nice server first brought some red powdered spice with no flavor to it. He later returned unprompted with their homemade chili sauce - this at least had chili peppers, but was so highly diluted and probably kinda old, so it had no flavor at all. The Thai iced tea was mostly condensed milk with a little tea flavor. The portions were generous, and the server was really nice. The place was completely empty. The food was just far too sweet, nothing like any Thai food I've ever had (in the US or Thailand). read more

Gosh it's just soooo good. Sometimes the amount of meat can be hit or miss, but the flavor is incredible. The Gang Dang, which I know sounds crude, is so insanely good and has such a unique blend of spice and sweet flavor. Portions are huge, prices are very reasonable, workers are nice people. I can't begin to tell you how excited the family & I are that we have all these new local restaraunts to try. We were in the mood for some noodles & Bangkok kept popping up as the place to try. The guy working the register was super friendly, explained all the dishes as we ordered & even talked me into trying a 3rd dish rather then ordering more of the same. We started with the vegetable spring rolls, which he imformed us we're quite popular, I could see why. Crunchy rolls with plenty of fresh cabbage & carrot, and the peanut dipping sauce (as mentioned by Cosimo, a review that encouraged me to try this place) was a good start to any meal. We ordered the Pad Thai w chicken, it was good, but I was already homesick as the Pad Thai from Amarin in Warren hits every note simultaneously, this dish despite the fresh sprouts, fluffy eggs & crushed peanuts just couldn't live up to those expectations for me. I broke from the norm & decided to try the spicy drunken noodles with green peppers, basil, beef topped with fresh bean sprouts. I was pleasantly suprised & was glad I ordered this instead of the Pad Thai. The oldest ordered the Bangkok chicken, he's kinda picky & honestly he would rather stay home and eat a turkey sandwich with chips. Even he was suprised how much he liked his wok cooked chicken tossed in a house sweet & sour sauce served with rice. The entrées we ordered costed around 10 something a piece, with the free pictures of ice water we managed to keep the cost down a little & I would have to say this Bangkok location is better then some of the others I have tried in the past. I will be back & wish the other Thai places in the area good luck trying to knock these guys off the list of our go to place for noodles. read more

Not only does Jack talk Thai, but Cosimo loves to eat it! Bangkok Cuisine is by far my favorite Thai restaurant. It is always on point, and never lets me down. Without fail, my order is the same. Large orders (King) of Bangkok Chicken, Pad Thai, and Kow Pad. I also get the Crispy Rolls with extra sauce, and the Hot and Sour Soup. The Bangkok Chicken is lightly floured and fried, then tossed with a semi-spicy BBQ style sauce. It comes with white rice and is a must. Also a must, the Pad Thai. I get it sans lemon because I like it more on the sweet side, which is why I order extra sauce for the crispy rolls to add to this dish. It's a linguine styled noodle with your choice of meat or veg/tofu, scallions and a delicious peanut sauce. The sauce from the crispy rolls (also peanut based) compliments the dish, so I add it every time. The Kow Pad is a rice dish with carrots, sweet peas, and again, your choice of veg/tofu. I also get this dish without lemon for the same reason. Do I add the peanut sauce? You bet your ass I do. The Crispy Rolls are filled with Pork, and other items that I can't quite put my finger on. BE WARNED - if you forget to ask for extra peanut sauce with this appetizer you'll regret it. The Hot and Sour soup is also very good, although it's not the best. Mon Jin Lau's is FAR superior, but they do also add a ton of quality seafood to it, so it's understandably different. Also of note is the Bangkok Seafood dish. It's in a spicy sauce with mixed seafood. It would be better with real crab instead of the imitation crab, but it's still pretty fucking delicious. Bangkok has great food; beyond that, remember to get extra peanut sauce and you'll be fine. read more

What a disappointment! I have been patronizing them for years. Ordered a carry out today of mild plus Pad Thai & it looked like a bowl of soup was poured over it. No peanuts & it was so spicy that I could not eat it. I called to make a complaint & was told to bring it back & they would make another one. When I got off work, I took it back & the cashier refused to do anything since a small portion was missing which I threw out. Unbelievable! read more

I'm with Sara B. I do not understand where the high reviews are coming from. My friend and I ordered take out from Bangkok Cuisine last night (Friday). Maybe they were having an off night, but I'm out. The staff was friendly and the order was ready when we arrived. I had pad se ew, she had pad prik (both with chicken) and we shared an order of spring rolls. With the exception of the spring rolls, the main orders were underwhelming. The spring rolls were average, an expected level of good as was the sauce. The other dishes suffered from the same issues. The chicken was rubbery and the veggies were overcooked. The noodles were also overcooked, not the wide lightly fried rice noodles I wanted. The biggest problem for me was the sauce. The problem being that it was more gravy like than sauce. As I write this review the leftovers sit in the fridge and I have no desire to finish them. read more

I always order the same thing when I come here but it's always REALLY good. The chicken pad ped is my favorite I always add bamboo shoots. Their portions for dinner is very generous. Today my boyfriend and I ordered from Bangkok on 19mile rd . When I came home to eat my pad Thai (that I was craving) it tasted like pure lemon and water. I didn't understand why so I called back to see why the guy at the counter said they have a new vendor for their spices and it's a "hit or miss". I took my food back and requested a refund of my pad Thai shrimp 16$ I was told they can't do that and all they can give back is 8$. That is horrible I asked to speak to the owner and was told no. And then I asked if the owner was in again no and then asked when the owner would come in and got hung up on . This place has gone to shit. Shame on the service and down fall quality of the food ! Not what I expected. I think the biggest turn off for me was the foul smell of rotting smelly something I couldn't put my finger on. I didn't let this deter me because back home when making gizzards it reeks terribly but taste yummy after! Mind you I'm not taking any stars away for that either this is a solid 3 star rating for me. I got the Pad Thai and the bang Kok chicken for my daughter. We also order spring rolls with extra peanut sauce on the side. The pad Thai noodles were over cooked and I barely got any sprouts. I felt silly complaining because the portion was large enough for 2. The chicken was semi crispy extra vinegary and it had the right amount of heat we got mild. Bang Kok chicken was ok not great. It is a hit or miss here. The best curry noodles I've had around this area. But I had a Tom Yum soup from here and my shrimp was barely cooked, I didn't realize it until after a few sips of the soup and I finally grabbed a shrimp. Thankfully no food poisoning. Friendly staff though. I wouldn't really come back unless I get the noodles. Gang Dang is really good in my opinion. Especially if you get hot.
