I picked it up a week or two later after it was finally repaired only to find the same issues. When I tried to have the the shop honour their warranty, I was told they were shortstaffed and could not even try to remedy it for at least a few weeks . After I took it back for the third time I discovered that the owner of the shop was using it to commute to his house and keeping it in his driveway overnight! I suspect he had been doing that for weeks during the second repair as well by the mileage indicated . I have recovered my truck with the help of the police and I am going to request a full refund for my transmission work and getting it repaired by another company.. This supposed 18 month warranty is worth absolutely nothing and this has been my experience. Not a positive experience and the last thing I would expect from an "old school" shop like this where you anticipate some degree of expertise.

I called to make an appointment for fluid exchanges as my car is nearing 90,000 miles. Before they scheduled the fluid exchanges I requested, they offered to do research to look into my specific make, model, and year to ensure that the items I was asking for would be due and pertinent. They called back within 10 minutes, gave me the research the found, and suggested a transmission exchange service and brake fluid exchange. I dropped my car the morning of my appointment and they were done before 2:00. This is the first car shop I've been to that doesn't smell of oil and tires. And the men behind the counter were dressed nicely in button down shirts with ties. They explained what the services would entail and what they should help with.
