Finally went and tried this place out, after passing it for over a year now... and I'm just mad I let myself go that long without trying it. So much flavor, and so much in portion for what you pay! I was in Sherman for a business meeting. I am not familiar with the area so I YELPED!! I was in the mood for Asian food, so I chose Two Brothers Hibachi! When I got to the spot, there were people waiting for their orders, and a line building up. I asked one of the patrons if the food was good, the guy said I would be back, was good enough for me! Not sure where to start, but their food is just fantastic!! Fast and a very cool team. They are not shy in their servings, out of a truck as they are working on the new restaurant. I ordered the 3 meats, steak, shrimp and chicken. WOW, I had to stop eating as I was full, but I tried eating all of it, you know, when you try to stop but can't. I could dispense of the leftover food as it would of been a sin, so I asked for a plastic container at the hotel and carried the rest home. Oh my! If you like hibachi or would like to give it a try start here! All the amazing taste of a traditional hibachi restaurant without the long wait time and excessive cost. I live about 20 min from this location but I will continue to take the drive! I tried the chicken and steak and I have been thinking of it ever since! They also have a special yellow sauce that is flat out amazing on rice! This place will grow and grow given the opportunity. Tender meat with very flavorful vegetables along with this yellow sauce! After reading all the 5 star reviews I had to drive down there and try it. My 35 year career took me all over the country and to Japan and Europe many times. I hung out with many from Japanese companies always eating and drinking... Ok, I'm used to some high end Japanese food and this isn't it. I do understand where I am, not in a big city so I didn't expect much. Anyway we probably will not eat there again but for food out of a truck in a gas station parking lot 3 stars is generous and the food is ok. I pick up deliveries here pretty often sometimes multiple times a day. Never a bad experience. Employees are always kind, every single one i've spoken to. Does take a little longer than my pickup time most times, but that's to be expected with how busy they are. Even when it's going to be a little longer they have the buzzers so I can go back to my car instead of having to stand around a bunch of maskless customers by the truck. They always give me the correct orders, they've never messed up. I get all the sauces i'm supposed to without even having to remind them like most other places. I live near the lake, and often when I venture down near the Sherman area I visit this food truck. I've had hibachi in Japan and all over the US. This is legit and tastefully delicious. Better than almost any, aside from Japan. It is a little difficult to find but it's to the north side of the Goodwill building on Texoma PKWY. The teriyaki steak and the shrimp are cooked to perfection and the sauces are so good. Try it and I'm sure you'll be back. They do a great job! The fried rice, just yum.! I'm not normally put off by food trucks but this one seemed odd tucked away in the back corner of the parking lot. Staff was friendly and handed me a small pager when my food was ready. The food was Fantastic! Shrimp was a little overcooked but nothing to get sideways about, the steak was perfectly cooked! Rice and veggies were delicious also. And that sauce they give out..... If you want a HUGE amount of food, especially meat, you'll be happy you came. The chicken and beef are tender, juicy and flavorful. The vegetables hubs and I got were over cooked and mushy to the point of being puréed. The rice was cooked to an extremely soft consistency and the entire dish was over sauced. Styrofoam containers are a turnoff for me. So....if a maximum amount of food is what does it for you, you won't be disappointed.
