The standout for our meal was the scallops, which surprised me. These were not big scallops, but they were fresh and perfectly cooked. Fork-tender, sweet, delicious. My wife loves scallops and she loved this meal. When she ordered, the server immediately started bragging about them. When the plate arrived at the table, he stood at the table and encouraged her to cut a bite with her fork to ensure that they were perfectly prepared and tender. No disappointment. Yes surprised. Good scallops in Sherman Texas? Yep. Check all of the pictures. Teriyaki Beef for me. And we shared a Tempura Appetizer. The beef was lean and almost as tender as the scallops. It had a light teriyaki flavor that didn't over power the beef. Both meals came with rice and mixed hibachi vegetables. The Tempura was a mixture of potatoes, carrots, broccoli, zucchini and a couple of nice sized shrimp. The two dipping sauces went well with the mixture. It is a large restaurant, comfortable, not particularly fancy. The service was very good. Larry was on duty and represented the restaurant well. Sushi is their main game. First impression walking in the restaurant smells like there's a sewer problem. It's hard to ignore and definitely not a great start. We ordered the Edamame and Crab Rangoon to start, and both were great. The sauce served with the Rangoon was especially good. I also had a salad, which was a nice mix of greens and tomatoes fresh, though the ginger dressing was a bit too salty for my taste. For our entrées, we had the Hibachi Chicken and Hibachi Shrimp. The portions were generous, and both came with a sauce that tasted a lot like bottled teriyaki overly sweet and nothing special. The fried rice, however, was excellent. Unfortunately, the vegetables were the opposite: mushy and overcooked. The mix included cabbage, zucchini, squash, broccoli, and carrots, and everything was too soft and salty. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but between the overpowering smell inside and the overly salty, mushy food, we wouldn't eat here again. I have been here numerous times since moving here the past year. The review is definitely long over due! When I was first introduced to this place by my wife, I was skeptical at first. Mainly being that the dining out options are slim at best out here and also due to it being a food truck. Two Brothers totally proved me wrong the first time I had their food. I always go with the steak and shrimp as my go to. Mainly because I am at the point in my life where I find 95% of chicken boring now, unless it's fried chicken or chicken wings haha. This place never disappoints! One thing I really want to emphasize about this place is the consistency in quality and delivery of the product. I have never had any "off" visits with this place. Consistently perfectly delicious steak, shrimp, veggies and fried rice with each order I have made here. You can also get it with no veggies if you want only proteins and rice, but I always get the veggies because fiber, that's why haha. The quality of the steak and shrimp is excellent. Fresh and delicious each time! I definitely want to highlight the special sauce they make. I have a hard time describing how the flavor is, other than it is delicious and magical! Also, my favorite thing to do is always ask them to make it spicy. Reason is, they use good quality sambal chili paste to really add a nice heat and flavor element to their food. I also keep sambal chili paste at home and it goes good on almost everything if you like spicy food! All in all, this place is in the rotation of places to order from out here when my wife and I are not in the mood to cook dinner and want to eat good. The food was amazing and the service (Lala was our server) was the best we've had in a long time at any restaurant.

We always loved the food truck so we were excited to try their new location, but unfortunately we had a pretty terrible experience. We arrived right before 8:00 on a Friday night. When I told the host, who was also the manager on shift, that we had a party of nine, I was a little worried they were going to tell us they couldn't accommodate us. It took several minutes for them to search the restaurant (upstairs and downstairs) and talk to several different people before they finally told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait. We had no problem waiting, but after we were finally seated it took over 5 minutes to have our waiter even greet us. When he did come over he made a comment about not being happy to have a larger table. This was the first thing that made us uncomfortable. We ordered drinks and it took close to 10 minutes before they came. He kept leaving and would just disappear for long lengths of time. We had to wave him down just to be able to order and at that point we had been seated for close to 30 minutes. When he finally came to take our order he made a distasteful joke about our friends children being of mixed race and assuming what adults they belonged to. It gets worse, then he told our entire table that he doesn't need to ask black people how they like their steak because they always order it well done. His exact words were, "I don't know why, but whenever someone black orders steak I just automatically write down well done because I already know what they're going to say. I swear. I'm not judging, I guess I'm just, what do you call it? Oh yeah... I guess I'm just stereotyping." I honestly couldn't even believe someone had the nerve to say something so distasteful. Once he finally took our order about 10 minutes went by and we hadn't received our salads (that came with our meal). When we were finally able to get him over to our table I clarified that our dinners came with salads and he said, "oh y'all wanted your salads? Uh yeah, I'll get those." The majority of the lettuce were brown, stalk pieces and everyone who ordered ranch agreed that it did not taste good and left a horrible aftertaste. Completely inedible. We continued to wait and wait and wait for our food, at this point we were the only table there and the restaurant was closed. We sat and watched everyone clean and when our food finally came out, several of the orders were wrong. The steak (even though it was tough) and vegetables were delicious, that was the best part of the meal. We asked for siracha and once again he disappeared and we ended up having to get up and find another server to get us some. The rice (white and fried) was either under or over cooked and every single person at our table mentioned that the rice was hard. Most of us didn't even eat it. Here comes the most frustrating part of our meal. After our server disappeared again we had to ask for our checks. When he presented the hand held card reader he didn't offer an itemized bill, he only told us our totals. Not once did he tell us gratuity was included and it was not listed on the menu. Our friends paid first, left an extra 18% and he handed me the card reader next. I asked him if gratuity was included and he said, "um, I don't know, actually I think so" and my friend, who just paid, explained to him that she didn't realize that and she didn't mean to tip extra. He made a nervous laugh, walked around to the next person paying and totally ignored the remark about the gratuity. The last person to pay had to request a receipt because one was not offered to any of us. At this point we all asked for a receipt because this was starting to feel sketchy. He walked off and went behind the bar and never brought us receipts. We individually had to walk up to the bar (where his vape was chilling on the counter) just to ask for our receipts. He acted like he didn't realize we even asked for them. At this point we walked downstairs, asked for a manager and got the extra gratuity back. By the time we left the restaurant we had been there for two hours and fifteen minutes and we didn't even linger after our meal. Absolutely ridiculous. This area needs new, local restaurants, but this was just a horribly disappointing and frustrating experience. As far as ambiance goes, I was excited to see how they renovated the building. Downstairs definitely had a take-out vibe, but upstairs is very modern and looks nice. The couches are not very practical, the way they sit compared to the floor and table just feels off. Besides that, the restaurant looks very nice. Overall, I doubt we will be back anytime soon. read more

They've opened their dine-in restaurant folks!!! This is the best hibachi meal in town and they've done a super cute job renovating the interior. It reminds me of being at a busy hole in the wall restaurant in NYC. They have an upstairs as well to accommodate busy weekends. As with any new restaurant they have some things they're working out, the menu is a little hard to read with the font size and color, and some of the servers are still learning but by golly is it worth it to support this local family that brings us great food! My only complaints is that the 2pc sushi wasn't quite up to standard, very long thin pieces with too much rice- the fish to rive ratio was not worth the price that they were. Also the specialty roll we ordered was interesting- we got the hollywood roll and they laid the sushi flat and topped it with a giant mound of imitation crab, with a giant lump of white rice in the middle? Sushi is, at its baseline, meant to be quick and easily accessible. Hopefully they change this!! Outside if that they have an open kitchen and sushi bar so you can see the hustle everyone is putting in, and of course the food is always delicious. They've expanded their truck menu to include all of our favorite sushi rolls and nigiri/sashimi. As of 12/4 they're still working on their TABC license for alcohol sales but they should be getting it soon enough is what I hear. Prices are extremely reasonable in comparison to going rates, and the food excels that. Be sure to try both DELICIOUS sauces that come with the hibachi meals and you'll be sold. 10/10 so excited for them for making this a food truck success! Four stars only because my mother had an awful headache come on after we had dinner. She's allergic to MSG, so we're assuming they cook with it. However, she loved the chicken and thought it was really well-cooked. Portions are plenty (enough for two people to share one order) and decently priced, compared to that other restaurant I mentioned above. They also offer miso broth for $0.99 a cup (off menu).
