A few things: + They provide a yoga mat, as your personal mat will get really dirty! + Located on a beautiful ranch/farm in Loveland. + No need for any yoga experience! The instructor leads the class with basic yoga poses, yet the focus is more of the baby goats prancing on and around you! + The instructor and her husband are really engaging and do a great job of making you laugh. + The farm hosts a lot of animals! From a wild turkey and horses, to the instructors golden retriever roaming around, it's fun to see and pet all the animals. + A small souvenirs shop is onsite with coffee mugs, yoga mats, T-shirt's and goat inspired trinkets! + Makes for a great group event! Not…read morethat I've been in many :) fear not yogi newbies, this isn't really a "yoga" session as it is the perfect excuse to be around the cutest baby goats ever! Yes, of course there is yoga involved. But instead of focusing on the eagle pose, you focus on the fun pose that is conducive to pro-goat poses! The staff was so entertaining and nice! Our instructor did a fantastic job of leading the class and was so patient. All the while a friendly gentleman (I believe her hubby) made sure we all got some quality goat action! No one left unsatisfied that they didn't get the full run yoga experience! I went on my own because I'm a one man wolf pack. But most others went in small groups or with a friend so I imagine it's even more fun when your friends can snap photos all the while there is a goat enjoying your mat. :) Give in to your inner goat loving self and enjoy the quirk that is goat yoga! Everyone working there was very friendly and full of information on the animals if you asked. I would highly recommend this place. Seems like it's a well run sanctuary for animals that were down on their luck. Oh and be sure to wear close toed shoes, and while they have washing stations, I recommend bringing hand sanitizer for after you pet the animals.

A Truly Memorable Alpaca Experience…read more We visited Smooth Alpaca Experience as a group of six, ranging in age from 12 to mid-60s, and every one of us absolutely loved it. Joe was wonderful -- fun, informative, kind, humorous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the entire experience engaging for both kids and adults alike. We especially enjoyed getting to know all of the alpacas, along with the hilarious three brother goats who definitely put on a performance for us! We learned so much about alpaca behavior, personalities, eating habits, the shearing process, and the care involved in raising them. It was also fascinating to see the finished alpaca products, including socks, hats, gloves, sweaters, and blankets, and to better understand the process from animal to finished product. Overall, this was a unique, educational, and genuinely enjoyable experience that we would highly recommend. Joe made the day extra special!

Now, Terry's allows feeding, petting and close up photography of their bison. The resort is a ranch and not the Four Seasons, so let's dial down our expectations and recognize the workings of the ranch. There will be dirt, poop, feathers, hair, urine, and unkempt struck and other things gentle folk may find unsavory. We found the ranch charming. We have experienced many close encounters with wild bison and most were less than rewarding, but exciting. Terry removes this. The train creaks, and groans into the herd. Windows open, and your bison friend pop up for food. You can touch them and enjoy close photos/videos. Kids will love this and animal lovers also. Your trip back the platform will provide some ranch insights and views of horse stables. That was our visit. You may also trail ride on horseback and even participate in dude ranching. We feel the ranch offered all it advertised and we will return with the little ones. Keep up the good work Terry and all the support it.

They can feed goats, sheep, bighorn sheep, alpacas through fence. Chickens are turkeys are running around free and it's set up great that you can roam and not feel like your on top of other guests. They have a sandbox type silo, a bunch of toy trucks to play with, some climbing and swinging items and a small play house (we did not go in because a bunch of kids were playing). I would say go early bring a lunch and sit out and play and let kids explore. It's a little pricy $15 for anyone over 12 months so a family of 4 is $60 but I'm sure it helps the farm keep well maintained. I would go back and recommend to anyone with small kids.

My daughter loved this! - there are many different types of farm animals to see: sheep, goat, geese, peacock, horses, pig, etc. - there are lots of toys to play with and tractors to sit on- this was a highlight for the toddler! - it took us about 45 mins to get here from Denver on a Sunday AM In the end we didn't end up cutting any sunflowers to bring home, but they had all the supplies needed to do so, like scissors and buckets.
