Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich when working nearby. I was drawn in by the unique and funny business name plus the great reviews and delicious looking food in the pictures. I opted for the bacon, egg, and cheese on their semi-hard roll. It was a delicious and hearty breakfast. The staff were friendly, though the line to order was slow moving. Once I ordered, the sandwich came out wrapped in foil about 8-10 minutes later. They do have a few tables if you want to sit and eat there, but I took my food to go. It is setup to order at the counter then you wait for them to call out your order when it is ready. The pizza operation looked legit and smelled great. They were already firing pies and serving up slices in the morning when I was there. Next time, I definitely want to try the pizza. read more

We were in the area and decided to find a local bakery and gosh this place did not disappoint! We always get a large variety of items to sample and we're thrilled with the large selection. We ran into a local upon our arrival who made solid recommendations. Our favorite item was the snuggles. It's almost like a puffed pastry dough with cinnamon sugar twisted in. It was flavorful and delicious. Everything we tasted was yummy! The scones are another item that deserves a shout out. Was looking forward to this place because of the catchy name. Very disappointed with the food and atmosphere. The place is very small, tried pizza was only ok. Got some pastries also only ok. Love this place! They are friendly, and helpful. The food is good. Love everything I have tried. I went in one day on my way home and just wanted a 2 pieces of pizza for lunch. I stood there waiting for help and this lady came in and came right in front of me and took the rest of the pizza. They felt so bad and made me a pizza. Love the meatball sandwich and their bread. Wow so flippin good! Everything is freshly made from the pizza dough the sauce, excellent quality. I got the chocolate chip cookies and they are fat thick and moist was just enough crispiness on the outside to give you that texture where it's a little crunchy but soft. I also got the peanut butter cookies with a chocolate drop in the center and it taste like a homemade peanut butter cookie where you can taste real peanut butter, the chocolate drop is an actual delicious tasting piece of chocolate not immitation. 1000 times better than the Amish cookies that we usually buy out at the cheese house or at Apple castle. These cookies are simply better ingredients, fresh and taste better. We are from out of town, but we're going to make this a stopping point every time we're in Newcastle. My only regret is I didn't buy more stuff! read more

This has got to be the best bakery around!!! You just can't make up your mind once you enter the building, too many goodies to choose from!! Lots of different kinds of bread daily, (good old homestyle is still my favorite though, perfect). Get there early though! Cinnamon rolls are my favorite, melt in your mouth. Be sure to buy extra, put them in the freezer. Few seconds in the microwave and they are delicious!! Everyone is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend, every time we're in the area we stop. I can't imagine how anyone could give them a bad rating (as I've seen here from a few). We've been buying from them for years and have NEVER had one thing that wasn't delicious and we've bought for many friends over the years and they are all in agreement. read more

Be still my heart! What a Sweet place to stop by to fill my sweet tooth! Another Yelper said "if you're ever in New Castle, this is a must stop" they were sooooo right! I would imagine the selection would've been better in a Saturday had we arrived earlier, but we were thrilled with our purchase! Due to COVID we are in the car, although, there are a few table set up if you wanted to eat in.. My hubby got the "The Booky" breakfast sandwich and it was Huge! Definitely enough for two, although he devoured the entire breakfast sub! He says it was the best breakfast sandwich he has ever had! I got a egg, sausage, cheese sandwich and it was very good. I ended up eating it open face to save calories for the sweets we bought. We barely made it out if New Castle before polishing off a Cannoli & Vanilla Shoe Horn. The Cannoli was very tasty and had a hint of orange to it. Now, that Vanilla Shoe Horn....Oh my....It was sweet, Flaky and Delicious!! Soooo good!! They are called "Two Fat Guys" for a reason. This is the worst bakery I've ever been in and believe me, I'm in a lot. I have one weakness, baked goods. I'm a sucker for baked goods. When we found this place with such a catchy name I pulled in without hesitation. That was a mistake. The space is tiny so there was no space for social distancing. I marshaled on because their goods looked delicious, but alas, looks can be deceiving. How can you make a cream filled doughnut that isn't sweet? And what is that taste that clung to my mouth for over 30 minutes. The same thing goes for the pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Maybe we got the wrong things or maybe they forgot the sugar. I love this place! No trip home to New Castle is complete without at least one trip to Two Fat Guys and an Oven. This time I got the salted onion bread and pecan cups and a stromboli. They have quite a few choices of fresh made breads, a few different featured each day. The salted onion rye was a hit! They will slice it for you, but I like to slice it myself.The stromboli was lunch for 2days. Very good with pepperoni, sausage, peppers and sauce. Bread was soft and fresh. The pecan cups were ok. A little dry. They also make sandwiches and a different soup each day. Don't pass this place up! read more

I ordered cookies for my son's wedding which was in Evansville, Indiana, I live in Hockessin, Delaware. My friend picked them up in New Castle on her way to the wedding. I cannot tell you enough how delicious and beautiful they were. I was worried at first how they would arrive but Melinda assure me that she would pack them well and she did an amazing job, nothing broken or smashed. My cookie table was hit thanks to 2 Fat Guys and an Oven. Every time I am back in New Castle, I have to visit, their pastries are to die for. Let me tell you about this place ... just wonderful food and wonderful owners. Today I stopped with my Mom happens to be her 88th birthday today, anyway my Mom moves very slow and we parked where she could walk up to the door. On the way up the ramp the owner came out and said" I will get you anything you need, do you want me to get it for you?" Oh no we said just takes her time moving, it is my Birthday and I want to set and enjoy my son and daughter's company for lunch. We ordered before the food came to the table, both owner came up to my Mom and wished her Happy Birthday and in a container a cannoli ! That made my Mom's day, she was so happy! Lunch was wonderful the food was so good, every time I go there friendly and just love the food.
