About 20 years ago my mom moved back to Whittier and she bought a house right behind the Arco station on Lambert. I have two boys and they loved skating and all that goes with it. Well my mom saw your shop and went to check it out. You guys were great to her and she remember everything she learned about your shop and your story. She was really impressed at how you turned your life's around. She came over so excited to tell my boys about this great shake shop she found. You invited my mom to bring the boys to a skate event at the shop. Well I can't remember why but I do know that weeman was there and it was like a party. The boys had weeman sign their skateboards and stuff. We had a lot of fun. I found this old pic of weeman with my boys. My boys are 31 and 27 now. I think this is in 2004 and 4 short years later my mom passed. My mom had been to your shop many times getting boards and anything they needed and you all were very helpful she just loved you guys and Two Felons. Her name was Maggie but this was 20 years ago so yeah. You have been around for 20+ years and the service is still the best. So keep on keeping on. You are doing something right. TF read more

Last night around 7pm my 16 yr old son and I went into Two Felons skate shop and we were welcomed by Fatboy. He immediately made us feel like valued customers and let us look around, answered all of our questions, gave us stickers, and even invited us to a skate event; Sk8 Patrick's! He was amazing! My family of 5 just moved back to Whittier last week after losing our rental home due to being put up for sale. We have been staying at hotels and it's been really a sad, difficult time for us. But, Fatboy made my son and I feel like valued customers and friends, and we didn't even buy anything. But we definitely will be. Asap. Thank you Two Felons for being what you are. I've been here multiple times, purchased a couple skate boards, and many T-shirts. I love the shop and would highly recommend it. First time coming here and I was impressed. They have a great skate deck, gear and apparel selection. Customer service is top notch. I asked for an empty, used skate deck box so I can organize the decks at home in it and they gave me one for free. I was told that they also do a Thanksgiving food drive in Nov. and a Socks donation in Dec. This place has been giving back to the community for years and it shows. I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. I came in today as a complete beginner feeling very intimidated. The owners immediately treated me with nothing but hospitality and kindness. Travis patiently and thoroughly walked me through everything I needed to know. I never felt dumb asking basic questions and I was given an endless amount of recommendations because I was clearly very lost. They were never pushy about trying to promote his own brand and helped me pick really cool parts. They even gave me this awesome grip tape that matched my trucks for free!! They assembled my board right on the spot and I ended up walking out with a sick ass board. The store itself is also really nice. It's well organized and has tons of charm with all the decorations. All of the staff are incredibly welcoming and help contribute to a warm atmosphere in the store. The owners are obviously very passionate about their business and it's evident that they prioritize fostering good experiences for anyone who walks into their store and sharing their passion to anyone willing to try. BEST FIRST SKATEBOARD EXPERIENCE!! If you're a parent who knows little to nothing about skateboards and looking to get your kids a skateboard, I highly recommend this local family business. My two boys (5 and 8) have been asking for skateboards. I didn't want to get them the $50-$100 skateboards sold at the big box stores. I wanted something that would be nice enough for them to actually enjoy riding (skating) so this could become a lifelong hobby. We took my two boys and walked into the shop on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were greeted and asked about our visit. I told the very friendly man (he said his name was Fatboy) my young boys were looking to get their first skateboards. He asked their age and told us to look around and he would help us after finishing the board he was repairing. He jumped from repairing boards, to helping customers find items, to helping us. As busy as he was, he pulled several boards for us and had the kids stand on them and pretend they were pushing (I don't know the lingo). Then between helping customers who kept walking in, he showed them at least a dozen boards with different designs in their size, gave them several choices of truck colors, screw colors and wheels, the top scratchy part, and the thing around the wheel screw part. Since we were having trouble remembering which side was the front and back, he put "headlights" (two different screw colors for the front of the board so we can easy see which is the front). Yes, this is how little I know about skateboards. I'm surprised he didn't lose his mind/patience because we kept asking the same questions (which is the front of the board) and my kids were talking his ear off. When it came time to assemble the skateboards, he had the kids help him which was amazing for them considering this was their first experience in a skate shop. He's doing all this while helping other customers. It took some time to get everything done since it was a busy Saturday but the kids are so happy with their skateboards. The whole process was amazing! The kids were given so many choices and opportunities to really customize/personalize their skateboards and we never felt rushed or overwhelmed. The skateboards ended up costing about $110 which compared to a boxed skateboard is a decent price (and the skateboards they created are VERY COLORFUL). The amount of care and attention and support we received made this a very special experience. I know my kids will always remember the wonderful experience of creating their first skateboard. I found this skate shop on yelp and after reading a few reviews I found it that it was family owned. I'm always down to support a local family business! It wasn't too bad of a drive from me but going forward I wouldn't mind making the commute to come here. I walked in and was greeted and approached by travis and he was very attentive and I could tell her was really knowledgeable about his products. Everything he explained showed passion for skating! Really cool guy who gave me the break down of prices and accommodated to my budget. He made good recommendations and honestly I was hoping for more different board designs. He mentioned to me that he was going to get a shipment the next day and that I should come back the next day. I got a call the next day from Brandon who told me to come back to check out what came in. Super cool guy as well who put my board together! I was super happy and felt like I had first dibs to new products. I felt really comfortable with both their knowledge about putting together a board.
