if you see a review from beer man I you should ignore it. gives one star to many great local breweries and rates tons in one day. hit me up on yep dude and ill meet you at any brewery in hills or pinellas so ill help you identify great beers. that said, if you are local to TS, both two frogs and brighter days have got some outstanding beers and we can road trip to dunedin for some more great local beers. try the dry Irish stout at 2 frogs if you're a Guinness fan. the shorty low czech pils is great (and the chickitty czech at brighter days is just as good!) , looking for a fruity wheat or sour, two frogs as got dream pop a tangerine wheat and the soup sour series is great. also check out unrefined always have good BA stuff. read more

To say we love this place is an understatement! It is a great vibe and friendly location. Chad is the man!! Atmosphere: - Brewery vibe with brew tanks along the walls and a long bar top with lots of options. - The frog paintings throughout lend to a lighthearted and relaxing vibe. Service: - On this day, the owner was our bartender. Personally, it doesn't get much better. You get to hear the history and meet the person you're investing in. Beer: - Lots of options with good variety from ales, IPAs, to sours. - They also have NA options which is clutch. They even mentioned brewing their own NA option. Had an excellent visit w our group while we had some friends in town. The eight of us may have brought the party in as there's a different energy when we show up...but Two Frogs was super accommodating and welcomed us w open arms. Really open high ceilings invite you in to a massive bar, along w several tables to sit. Beer selection really tasty, with a few crowlers taken home w us for Super Bowl the next day. Staff is very friendly, and seemed to really like their jobs, which is always a welcome environment. One of our crew dropped their card that night, so we were able to come back the next day and enjoy a few more since we were there. While exploring places we've not been, while the husband has been on vacation, we decided to explore our own town. We spent time on Main Street and stumbled across this tiny gem. The husband grabbed himself a pint of something, and I simply enjoyed the atmosphere and chatted with 2 other folks and the bar tender. I noticed that they have a Yoga class at 7:30pm on Thursdays for $10.00 and that nets you a beer too! This month (January 2019) they'll be doing a beer and Ice cream pairing. For a small town, Tarpon Springs does boost three very nice breweries within walking distance in its charming downtown district. Two Frogs is the latest addition. There is a bar counter as well as some tables and chairs. The tanks and barrels, well, a lot of the work area, are visible in the back. The atmosphere is very relaxed and low key. There is a bookshelf filled with bags of chips should you want something to go with your beer. Michael and Chad Croake is the father & son team for this venture: father with his purse, son with his brewing talent. The name of the brewery is a joke about their family name. They have about 8 beers on tap, mostly their own brews: mostly Belgium styles, and they have everything from Blonde to Stout. Some flavored brews but nothing crazy. Chad gladly do half pours for us when asked. The Cardinal Amber Ale is pretty good, but my favorite is Snowmass, a chocolate coconut brown. Very cool venue in downtown tarpon springs. We took our bicycles to make the trip to visit this brewery Labor Day weekend. They have about 18 beers on tap. We tried their Croaks Select (IPA). Smooth, flavorful, perfect on a hot day. Bartender was great and incredibly friendly. Had a great conversation with other guests that were visiting. Wow - surprise!! We were in Tarpon Springs to haul out our boat and went looking for a beer after a 36 hour straight run from Key Largo. Stopped in Two Frogs and had some of the best beer we have tried so far in the State of Florida - and we have been to a good many breweries. The depth, flavor and smoothness of Chad's brews are amazing. I had a sweet zesty Habanero DIPA "Frog Jockey" we also tried Admiral Nelson's Barley Wine! Very random stop with my parents. There was nothing really bad for me but also nothing particularly great. Overall this was a good experience mainly due to easy access (parking in a small town is always so much easier than in big cities) and because of the beers. The bathrooms are small and don't look very clean, the bar area gets busy so if you sit down at a table, you might certainly wait for a while, I also think it is odd that they don't give you a water for free and the wooden chairs weren't comfortable enough for me to want to stick for another beer. The bartender was nice and definitely knows what he is doing, but since it was full (it was Saturday early evening), he was pretty busy and we definitely waited for a while for him to even just take the order, not to mention he forgot my mom's drink, but I understand that it can be really hard sometimes when you got a full house and you are serving them all on your own. read more

This place honestly surprised me, for the better. I live in Seattle and we have our share of great mico-breweries, but this one rivaled all I've been to. I'm a barleywine connoisseur, but I was a month early for their batch. Nevertheless, I had their 11% chocolate stout and I thought it was great! The bartender was actually the brewer and his family was helping a bit with greeting customers and making sure they were happy. Back in town out running around to do chores. The thirst came upon us and I Yelped breweries in the area. Two Frogs Brewery was at that top of the list and it deserves to be there. D and I chose two different selections, Croak's Select, IPA and Captain Nelson, IRA (no reference to the renowned militant group). Croaks was a nicely, medium hopped IPA, smooth and easy drinking.
