I like this place. The staff was very attentive. Inside feels like night life even though it was lunch time during our visit. There is a stage for live music. We both ordered a big burger. I like mine a little pink inside... medium. He likes his more pink ..medium rare. These burgers were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. IMPRESSIVE. Everything else was good too. I got the Fried Seafood Platter, which cost like 18 bucks, which I thought was expensive but whatever. The plate arrives and it's literally this platter overflowing with frog legs, shrimp, catfish, fries, red beans and hush puppies. I looked at it in shock for like five seconds. I ate half of it and I was well full. It's pretty good, not amazing, but pretty good. For the amount of food I got, 18 bucks didn't seem so bad. The atmosphere of the place is really neat. They've got a whole bunch of guitars from famous musicians lining the back wall. There are plenty of TV's to catch sports and whatnot. If you're on a long drive and need a good place to stop that's halfway between Oklahoma City and Dallas, Two Frogs is perfect. read more

Initially as you enter, it feels incredibly dark, but we chose a booth, and there were directed lights above us, which made reading the menu just fine. Decided to stop here in the way back home after having seen the sign a few times on I35. I didn't know what to expect, going into the place. Was it a Cajun restaurant, or Mexican food? As I got closer I saw that the windows are heavily shaded and you can't see inside at all and that nervous feeling comes along like ". . . is this a strip club?" It certainly is very dark inside and the walls and ceiling are a dark red. They have a stage and live music on certain days. Ted Nugent is going to be here soon. It's apparently a big rock and roller destination. Peter Frampton has been here, so that's good enough for me. There's a seating area in the rear of the restaurant with signed guitars lining the walls. The menu has a very large amount of chicken dishes for whatever reason. I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich with fries. The fries are big and potato-y. The sandwich itself was smaller than I would have liked, but the chicken breast was cooked and seasoned juuuust right. I really liked it. I had originally intended to give this place 4 stars but some small touches pushed it over the top. Including but not limited to: The forks have three tines instead of four. (This could be a con for some) The helpful staff. A server took several minutes to give directions to a couple in the booth in front of me. The way every family seemed satisfied and happy. Including couples, families with children, a large party celebrating something, and individual diners. It's definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Ardmore or making the trip up and down I35. Especially considering the other options around here are chain restaurants. I finished up with a full order of the Apple Dumpling which looked like it had been sent here from another planet. A beautiful utopian apple dumpling planet. If you think about how we name foods, it's often by what they look like or what they are, but not what they do for you. This is unfortunately necessary because then every food would be called a 'Make me feel good and full'. This Apple Dumpling deserves that name. If you're on a diet and know you're going to break it. I've eating here for many years...even when it was located in Lone Grove. Nice, clean jazzy place to eat with nice bar area and live music on weekends at times. The food was great at first...served hot, tasty, seasoned and well-portion. Nowadays it's a hit and miss. Sometimes the food is hot and good others not so much. Don't know what has happened. Nevertheless a unique spot to dine while in Ardmore. read more

Bad restaurant with a creepy vibe and weird lighting. None of the staff looked happy to be there. The spinach artichoke dip was okay, but the bowl was half full. The salad that comes with each meal was pitiful. A handful of lettuce (which you could taste was old), 2 croutons, ONE cherry tomato, and a plastic cup full of ranch. Classy. My steak was AWFUL. Our fave spot to eat along I-35! First off, the atmosphere is a ten. The decor is amazing - everything from the leopard print carpet to the signed guitars. Secondly, the food is amazing. I was trying to eat healthy and got the chicken breast with veggies, and even that was amazing! My kids had burgers and fries and the hubby got BBQ chicken. It was all delicious. And to top it all off, the service was great. Our server was quick to respond, very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot! read more

My first time there, I order the hamburger and it came with coleslaw. (Noon meal). It was good, and there's nothing extraordinary to set the hamburger apart from other restaurants I have rated. It is better that a McDonald's' Jack in the Box or fast food chains. The restaurant environment is extra ordinary and would make your dining experience pleasant. The also have decor of famous autographed guitars on the wall. They have a very good assortments of items to order on the menu and a full bar or table service is available. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm making my trips between Dallas and OKC. Their sautéed and voodoo shrimp dishes are by far my favorite! I want to know what they do to make their rice so good (it's a secret...trust me...I tried to get it). Customer service is good...can't say great, but definitely good. The food makes everything more than well worth it! Even if you don't like shrimp, their other dishes are just as flavorful! My wife and I are from Columbia, MO and make several trips each year to southern TX. This was our from time stopping in Ardmore, OK for the evening. We saw 2 Frogs I-35 billboard and was told by the front desk that they are ALWAYS busy. What we found was one of the best dining experiences in quite some time... and we dine out a lot. Our appetizer (zucchini sticks tossed in parmesan) was delicious and huge. We shared the chicken fettuccine Alfredo (hoping to save room for dessert.) The chicken was succulent and sauce delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for one of their many enticing offerings. Our waiter (Dean) was outstanding... Personality through the roof and always on top of our every need! He would be reason enough to return. 2 Frogs hosts performances by major names in rock, country & blues. They have walls adorned with guitars signed by numerous artists. 2 Frogs owner, Aubrey Harris, has been booking major headliners for decades. He is also extremely personable and welcoming. We are definitely hooked and will make 2 Frogs a regular on our trips from now on! read more
