Two Hands! Finally tried their corn dogs and came away impressed. Freshmade hand dipped. Deep fried tastiness and unique flavors. You can get a whole meat dog, veggie dog, cheese instead of dog and half cheese half dog. Most of the concoctions are spicy and dusted with flaming' hot Doritos dust, so be prepared. Folks behind the counter were friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us. It was a fun experience.

I wanted to try the new location. I ordered the combo at 10.99. I ordered the 4 classic with beef sausage and dirty fries and lemon berry drink(berry was very overpowering). Chic fil a is across the street so I lowkey would get their lemonade. Spicy beef sausage was great and dirty fries were a winner. The service was inviting and quick. Atmosphere was clean, had pop music playing and 4 tables. People can definitely eat here but I had mines to go.

You can customize the type of dog you get-- I like the all beef one--and there are several options. There are about 6 tables for dining. It's bright and clean. I know I'll be back!

A few of the corn dogs were a little under done. While it did not bother me, that's why I knocked off one star. However they were tasty and the staff was nice. If was in the area and looking for a corn dog - I would come again. I also saw signs. They have a happy hour Monday through Friday as well. That might be a good time to check it out.

We came to two hands corn dogs on a whim , after visiting the reptile shop next door we decided to have a quick bite . We ordered the American dog #5 with sausage and kimchi fries (not pictured ) . The staff is very friendly and willing to explain the concept of Korean corn dogs . It's pretty small in there maybe holding 6 four top tables but people never seemed to have an issue finding a seat . We will plan to make it a routine to get a corn dog before getting our bearded dragons food next door .

Korean-style corn dogs are so yummy! We ordered the Two Hands, the Potato, and three Classic corn dogs. Everything was crispy and flavorful. We did ask for no mustard on one of the Classic corn dogs, but it still came with mustard, which was a little disappointing. The Kimchi Fries were one of our favorites! So yummy with that sweet, savory flavor and a little kick. For drinks, we had two Fruit Punch Slushes, a Milk Tea with boba, and a Thai Tea with boba. The slushes were sweet and refreshing. The boba drinks were okay. The seating is good, the staff is welcoming, and there's a nice variety of options. It's an easy spot for dine-in or grab-and-go. I had a very bad experience after eating here. I got a corn dog with sauce, and within a few hours I developed symptoms consistent with food poisoning, including severe stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting. I had not eaten anything else that day that could explain the reaction. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

This is definitely not the place to find you're looking for anything remotely healthy! The food is great! All kinds of corn dog choices...more than this simpleton ever thought there could be! Been here twice in the past 8 months. The music is SO loud in there (both times) you have to yell at the girl that is two feet away to place your order. Everything has to be repeated because they can't hear over the music. After we got our food we left because we couldn't even have a conversation together in their restaurant. read more

Good: They have lots of dif corn dogs. The menu looks fun. The place was empty and had discounts (2pm on weekday) The corn side dish was amazing! Bad: We had a big order - 7 corn dogs - they took 35 min. There was only one cook and he made each corn dog really slowly - by the time we got them all they were all soft and mushy on the outside (not crisp on outside - the moisture soaked into the breading. Such a bummer.) I felt bad for the 4 people who came in just after us. They ordered immediately after us but I think they were there way longer. There was one other employee - she was busy filling sauces and ringing up the people who came in behind us. She was nice, although she didn't remind us of the deals they were offering so we ended up paying more than we should have. But not much more. I will try going again and hopefully update my rating if it's better - because I have a feeling if u order only one corn dog it won't take very long and it may actually be yummy. But I won't order more than one because he can't make them fast enough for them to still be yummy. read more

4.5 stars. I'm still on an Asian food bender I guess when I came across this place for a Korean Corn Dogs, like the ones I see online or in YouTube videos. So since I hadn't had breakfast I decided to stop and try some corn dogs Korean style. And they're yummy deep fried goodness. This was a fun experience! I took my two toddlers and they had a blast eating the corn dogs. The staff was nice and when we went they had recently had their grand opening. Seems they had the kinks worked out when we got there. The manager or owner was present taking pictures and offering complimentary drinks to those waiting. I thought it was a fun vibe. There is not a ton of seating so if you have a group I'd get it to go. People waiting were taking some tables so we snagged one as soon as we could since we had planned on eating there. Definitely more of a quick meal or something after a game or outing but we left full. I'd go with a similar expectation of a hot dog stand - plenty of options and styles for everyone. They had cheese filled and veggie dogs which is great as my wife is vegetarian and my kids loved the cheese pull (like a giant mozzarella stick). I would definitely recommend trying this out, especially if you have kids! read more

Our favorites were the kalbi ribs, bulgogi, and spicy pork belly. We also grilled veggies. They have great banchan (small side dishes) that are refilled at request. We love the kimchi, fish cake, Tteokbokki, japchae (glass noodle), salad, pickled cucumbers in chili sauce were all delicious! For some reason they give you a seasoned salt and sriracha for dipping. You have to request ssamjang (korean bean paste mixed with gochjang (mild sweet chili paste) and other seasonings, which is a standard dip at KBBQs. Be sure to ask! The ingredients are fresh, and meat cuts are quality. Price for all you can eat is very reasonable. The doenjang-jjigae (fermented bean stew) and steamed egg are our favorites! You have to order these, they don't automatically serve. Service is friendly and great!

I was not impressed for the amount of money. 40$/person is insane. I don't understand the menu at all. Why is it 40 for standard but if you want the good meet it jumps 10$ per person? I have never been to a kbbq like that. Let's start the review. -jap Chae was overcooked and way too much sesame oil -fish cakes were too sweet -kimchi was too bitter -corn cheese had too much cream or something. It tastes like a paste. -Ssamjang is extremely weird. It was liquidy. Ssamjang is not supposed to be liquid like since it is a fermented soy PASTE. It was not the right color and did not taste like Ssamjang. Ssamjang is usually a deeper color like a burnt sienna than whatever orange thing they gave me. -grill temp was all over the place -portion sizes were not good Full disclosure. I am Korean. I grew up eating Korean food and being surrounded by Korean culture. The japchae had too much sesame oil. If I can distinctly taste the sesame oil there's way too much. The fish cakes had too much sugar. The portion sizes I thought were small for kbbq. Maybe get two servings out of one order. Also when the grill was initially turned on, it was so hot that our first round of meat pretty much instantly burned due to temperature and the meats were thin. Thank goodness the staff didn't charge us for the left over burnt meat. I'm serious it was CRUNCHY. Also personal take here. At this restaurant I didn't see any Asians on the staff. At kbbq usually you see Asians or Koreans working. I saw no Asians working. So I thought to myself if a Korean speaking person came here the would be in trouble unless the knew English very well. I'm a little concerned about if the owner is even Korean? You might not think it matters but it does. They know how Korean food is supposed to be. Some good things. The galbi wasn't bad. It was the short rib with bone which isn't my preferred form of galbi but it was still good and not too sweet. The pop corn chicken was so good. They give a chunk of beef fat to grease the grill in the beginning which I appreciated. Strip loin was good. Although it was basically a chunk of meat you toss on the grill and cut yourself with scissors. The spicy pickled cucumbers weren't bad and tasted normal. That's about it though. I would never come back here due to the price absolutely not equating to the quality. The staff very nice. But not nice enough to save the food. This place I would expect more 20-25$/person than anything. Not 40$! If the kbbq place absolutely was redone different story.

As we began to look,(basically, we just did a google search) , Wings and Rice showed up on our, "food radar" . After noting the high number of 5-star ratings that were consistently being given to WINGS & RICE by my fellow Tucsonians, my wife asked if I would stop by and grab some wings to bring home to share with our honored guests. Upon arriving home, the wings were quickly decimated by our guests. The fact that they were gobbled up so fast and raved about, is probably the best and most-honest evidence that the numerous five-stars ratings given to WINGS & RICE are "spot-on" in their assessments. The place is "kind-of unassuming"--as it sits on the south-east corner of Pima and Craycroft in Tucson. Despite the fact that I have passed it numerous times-- wondering about it, and even considered giving it a go, I ultimately have never stopped in. Shame on me, as i we came to really enjoy the food here! This does then beg the question... "How many other hidden gems like this have I been passing by?" But then, in the bigger view of it all, isn't this the primary reason that YELP exists?! I think YELP got its name from the sound a dog makes after being kicked--which is what should have happened to me for passing this place so many times. ( *That origin story is not true--I just made that up for comedic effect.) So anyways, in my humble opinion (*for what that is worth), the place is the culinary equivalent of Duncan the Tall--a simple, but honorable hedge-knight in the HBO series, "A Knight of the 7 Kingdoms." (It's not my place to recommend TV shows here, but this one is a good 'un). And, if you are thinking that my saying this restaurant is like a lowly knight roaming the country-side seeking justice and honor is a criticism against W&R, you are so-so-so wrong! My comparison is intended as a compliment in the highest of regards. For, like Dunk, this place embodies the true ideals of what it means to serve. WINGS & RICE does not adorn itself with fancy-pantsy decorations and art. Instead, it strives to modestly, and without "pomp and circumstance" follow the noble ideals of serving up high quality and tasty chow (at reasonable prices) to the tired, huddled masses--yearning to breath free and fill their bellies. So, my lords and me ladies, pray, allow me to express my final thoughts on the matter of sustenance and refined beverages that can be had-ith at WINGS and RICE... If one be-ith in the moodith for-ith some tastely victuals, this be-ith the place. I probably just lost all shreds of any "street cred" that I may have had-- with my, "playing the fool" by comparing the W&R to a character in a show. (*not to mention my attempt to use the language of the middle ages and falling short). Despite all that, don't pass this place up. It really is, "the good stuff". Make yee way, post-haste and full-tilt to-ith WINGS & RICE!!! Anon! Post script. We opted for the buffalo wings and the lemon and pepper wing flavors from their menu. The lemon and pepper offerings went first and were demolished in seconds...but the buffalo flavored ones did not last long either. Our guests nearly came to "unshielded swords" over who would get the last of these tasty morsels of delectable meats. *And, an added bonus was the side of rice, which, while I was waiting for my order to be completed, I over-heard two different patrons rave about. Cah-ching! They were not wrong... "food-ith of the gods" were those starchy seasoned soft and sticky white grains of heaven--bathing in spicy buttery flavor!

The rice was absolutely perfectly cooked and delicious. A special sauce on the side added to its yumminess. The wings were disappointing though. The teriyaki sauce was great but the wings were small and chewy. There was so much delicious rice that the hub and I enjoyed it for two lunches. We will definitely return for the rice.

For entrees, we got Curry Chicken and Cumin Lamb. I'd never had Cumin Lamb before, and it rocketed to the top of my favorites list! It was gorgeously flavorful, fragrant, and spicy, warming as I ate. The spiced oil soaked into the rice, spreading the flavor to every last grain. It's really lovely and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, with a bright, cheerful ambience. Despite being busy, it never felt too loud, which was nice. The servers worked as a team and were very attentive. It was a great meal!

It is very small so keep that in mind. Their outside area is great. If there's an event at the University you might not be able to get a seat, so just have a plan b for that. I also love the grocery area. They have some items here that you can't find anywhere else in town, such as specialty chocolates and certain brands and flavors of ice cream. They also have some basics like produce and meat. It's worth a visit and you can walk to it from both the 4th avenue area as well as the main gate area.
