I dropped in for what in Philly would be a version of water ice or shaved ice elsewhere. I went mango and strawberry and it's as refreshing as it gets. Bits of fruit throughout. You can get a "shot" of rum or vodka added but I stayed unleaded this time of day! Staff HUSTLES to accommodate the midday hot sun!

Stopped here for a late night dinner on a weeknight... bonus points for being open late for food during the week and on weekends. Clean with ample seating... and steady steam of people stopping by. The tacos were super good and even though they have a salsa bar... it was not needed. The Sonoran hotdog was pretty good too. The only disappointing thing was the Elotes... it was too watery and not enough flavor. Of note there are several menu items that I didn't know what they meant but staff were helpful in explaining. Not a place I would plan a date night around ( would have back in my younger days) and not worth dealing with downtown and parking solely to get here- but definitely a place to stop by if you are already downtown.Definitely would return for a snack or a late night meal.

I ordered from Antojitos Downtown for the first time and it was a very pleasant surprise. They had a Friday promo with the purchase of a hot dog, which was a great deal. We ordered hot dogs, Tosti-Birria, flautas, elote cocktail, and Tosti-Lokos. Everything was clean, well served, and perfectly prepared. I placed the order over the phone and surprisingly they didn't mess it up for once Definitely ordering again!

Tried the Sonoran-style hot dog at Antojitos and was genuinely impressed. The bread was perfect and the jalapeño sauce really took it to the next level -- so flavorful. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Would definitely come back!

Visited while staying at a hotel downtown. Saw this cute place and decided to stop for some cold treats. It was good. They had hotdogs which will try next time. The service was friendly. Overall, cute spot.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. First, the layout was awkward. Right when you walk in, there's a kid's play area, which makes it difficult to navigate. You have to constantly say "excuse me" to small children, and the walkway isn't clear. Plus, there was foam from the play area scattered all over the floor, which added to the chaos. On the positive side, the ambiance was nice. The upstairs and lower level seating both looked inviting, and the decor was cute and very Instagrammable. However, the service was lacking. When we walked in, we stood by the register for over three minutes. During that time, three employees made eye contact with us, but not one greeted us. No "hello" or "we'll be right with you." It was frustrating until one of the employees finally took our order. We ordered Tostiverduros, Fresas con Crema, and a Pico de Gallo (fruit cup). Here's the breakdown: Fresas con Crema (1/10):This was a tiny, underwhelming serving. It seemed to be mostly whipped cream with some strawberry syrup. The strawberries were so small that we could barely even find them. The entire cup felt very skimpy and unappetizing. Price $5.99 Pico de Gallo (1/10): The fruit cup was disappointing--tiny and barely filled with maybe 10 pieces of fruit, all small and sad-looking. The chamoy and Tajín couldn't save it. It looked like someone had already eaten half of it before giving it to us. Price: $6.99 Tostiverduros (3/10):As a fan of Tostiverduros, I was especially excited for these, but they turned out to be the most basic I've ever had. There was no juice, just a small spot of chamoy, and hardly any "verdura." At $7.99, they were a rip-off. To make matters worse, parking cost an extra $4, which is necessary given how busy downtown gets on the weekends with no available parking nearby. In summary, the combination of bad food, poor customer service, and high prices made this a frustrating visit. I'd highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. This place needs to make serious improvements before I consider returning. Overall experience: 1/10 I do not recommend it.

My experience with the exact cuisine is very limited so without anything to compare it against, this is just a pure depiction. The space is clean and fun. There was only one kid there when I was visiting and they were not at all in the way. I agree that it does seem a little weird where the orders are placed and how to pick up the food. I loved my Sonoran dog and think about it to this day. I also had the elotes in a cup and it was full so I feel like the yummy toppings ran out before I got to the bottom. There was also a lot of what I can only assume is a butter bath in the cup. As for prices - it's downtown - everything is going to be more expensive downtown. If you are working downtown, it's a nice place to get out of the office and take a break. I'd go back if anything to change my scenery and try a different dog next time.

My food was good and flavorful I tried chilaquiles for the first time!! The service was good and workers were super friendly. The ambiance was cool very surprising for downtown Tucson. The prices were kinda high but it is downtown. It's family friendly and the game room on the top floor is cool too.

Cool little place with Mexican style snacks, sweets and beverages. I thought the prices were a little too high, for example for Horchata. I know they sell those in more "authentic" places for way less. The staff was super nice and friendly and I liked the interior decoration - it's colorful and bright.

I had high hopes for a restaurant with so much personality on the inside. However the food was absolutely DISGUSTING. I got the elote tostidos which was pretty much just canned corn and cheese poured over stale, soggy chips. It genuinely made me feel sick after eating it. They desperately needed to work on refining their menu. For now though...definitely a skip.

There is a very cool idea that's going on here, however, the food portion I feel, can be significantly improved. The play area for kids is really great idea that you don't see often outside of fast food spots.. and especially downtown..but being right by the door seemed like a safety concern as the food counters further back. They have simple items on the menu like Sonoran hotdogs, elote, and other Mexican snacks. They also have a pretty nice salsa bar. I was really excited to see the Dubai chocolate strawberries and ordered that. I feel that those strawberries are soft advertisement for one. I don't believe it is actual pistachio sauce... I don't know what it is maybe some kind of candy sauce. Secondly, and there's not a milk chocolate sauce either. It is the chocolate hardening sauce that you put on ice cream and hardens when it gets cold. The kataifi tasted different too. The whole cup felt like a dupe. My friend who ordered the elote, and hot dogs also was not very impressed either. Now the kids, however, they ENJOYED their time lol. I think this could be an okay place if you are going to get some energy out of the kids and are okay with some simple snacks.

Spacious patio area, with cool lights, umbrellas, and many tables. If you have a choice and it isn't too hot, sit outside. The food is stellar! Their back patio looks super cute for warmer nights and the food was great. Little bit of a wait but the friendly servers got us sat as soon as possible at 7pm Saturday. Salsa and chips were tasty, the carne asada was excellent. The corn tortillas are thick and perfectly charred. The green enchiladas were good too. The sauce was thicker than usual, but that's probably the Native fusion instead of being just Mexican enchiladas. So glad we stopped in, we ate every bite. Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
