Elote and Two hands signature dog.

Never had a Korean corn dog before and decided to give it a try. Fast service and made to order. I ordered the Elote which is deep fried corn on the cob with a generous amount of mildly spicy seasoning. When I say Mildly spicy, it has a little heat but nothing that will light your mouth on fire. I'm sensitive to that and managed to eat the whole thing no problem. I also had a pineapple slush to wash it down with that probably helped a bit. The signature Two hands dog I ordered with half mozzarella and half sausage. It's not spicy at all and has great flavor. The sauce is a very mild ranch which I think I will order more of on the side next time only because I like things saucy. It was crispy and delicious as well. Overall I enjoyed the food. The place is small with not much seating but was very clean. I'll be back to try more in the future as there are plenty of options to try.

Drove to Wichita from KC for this! Would highly recommend! I wanted something on my drive back to KC so I was able to place an online order. I ordered the two hands dog, potato dog, classic dog. SO GOOD!!! I was able to customize the filling on the inside so I had to do the typical hot dog and cheese filling! I loved how crispy it was and the sauce 10/10. The staff was SUPER friendly as you walk in the door. Highly recommend doing a trip to Wichita to visit this place! I'll be back next time to try it in person and their boba!

Two Hands is next to Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen in the plaza next to WSU. You walk in to place your order at the counter then wait for your food which is made fresh. There's no seating inside but there's a sign informing you that there is seating around back. We've had Two Hands before while in Texas so when I saw that they were opening here in Wichita I couldn't wait. If you have tried the other corn dog place in town then you have an idea of what the dogs are like. Two Hands does have different options for what you put inside your corn dog. They offer mozzarella, all beef dog, a spicy dog, a plant based dog, a half mozzarella, half beef dog & a half mozzarella, half cheddar. After you pick your meat you can choose different things from the Classic American corn dog to a version of the Hot Cheetos dog & everything in between. They also sell fries, both dirty & kimchi, elote & various slushes as well as bottled drinks. Prices for the corn dogs vary from $3-5 each (per the lady at the counter). After we ordered the wait wasn't long, probably 15 minutes with several people ahead of us. The staff is very knowledgeable & will walk you through the options which is helpful. Once we got home I took pictures of everything. The end of each stick has a color & you get a little card that tells you what each is so you don't accidentally eat someone else's food. Great idea folks as we have actually had that problem in the past. This card saves drama between the kids. Each dog's exterior was perfectly crunchy, the mozzarella was gooey (if you love the ability to stretch your arm out until it feels like it will pop out of your shoulder this is for you). The dogs that were hot/spicy were decent & the potato dog had a bit of a sweetness to it. This place is a must try if you like corn dogs & want to try something different. Next time we go we're going to try the fries so I will update this when we do.

Best k dogs from kc to here! The cashier is super nice. Chatted with him for a while. Wished we had one of these in Kansas City but we'll Def come eat here when we're in town. The place is super cute.

The food and slushes here are BOMB.com. I had low expectations for a corn dog place but these were SO good. They were able much bigger and thicker than I was expecting! We got the combo and two slushes for $25, which I thought was great. My husband and I split it and it was plenty of food! Would definitely go back! Only thing to note, there isn't a lot of seating but the seating area was clean and nice.

    Potato Dog with Dirty Fries

I mean, come on! How good is this place?!? I'm in town with my sick mom at the hospital and found this place on Yelp. I had the potato dog with dirty fries and both were absolutely fantastic. I wanted to take the food back to my hotel after a long day and was worried the 15 minute drive would make it soggy in the box it comes in. Nope! Opened the box in the room and tried the first tater tot to find it as crispy as it came out of the fryer. They cost it with this sauce and hot Cheeto dust and my goodness they are fire. I couldn't eat them fast enough! The corn dog was equally good with its fresh flavors that complement each other so well. I got the sausage, but there are a lot of different options I wouldn't have mind trying. The best corn dog I've every had. Well done! Would highly recommend and want to come back before I leave in two days, if I can.

This place is FIRE!!! If you are reading this and you are very hungry; eat here now!…read more To all my peoples in Wichita -- Let me help deconstruct the matter so it makes a little bit more sense. So as most of you know, Korean BBQ has been trending all over the world and it's been a fanfare for many years now. And for those of you who are unfamiliar with KBBQ and AYCE -- these acronyms stand for Korean BBQ and All You Can Eat. Disclaimer: you will smell like charcoal smoke so be advised not to wear your Balenciaga cashmere sweater! Haha, next, in the world of KBBQ, we grill our own food so it's hot off the press and fresh in your tummy. Secondly, hot pot is known in Japanese culture as Shabu Shabu -- meaning, Ghengis Khan used to cook live cattle meat with veggies in a ginormous wok, so he can feed all of his soldiers during their Mongolian conquest when it was freezing cold out. So put 1 + 1 together (KBBQ + HOT POT) and you get this beautiful hybridization known as KPOT. This concept is trending all over California because for one; when you have a ravenous appetite, this place will suffice and two; during a freezing cold February stretch, KPOT will warm you up just like it did Ghengis Khan and all of his soldiers during the harsh Siberian winters. I come from a place called Koreatown Los Angeles, where we take Korean BBQ to new heights each and every year. And let me tell all of you Wichitans something; you have no clue how good this restaurant is on a metric of good to greatest from California to New York. You guys have a 5% Asian population here and yet, you have restaurants like KPOT, KyuRamen and Kimchi. How spoiled you are here in Kansas! Wichita is so beautiful BTW and your food and beef quality is superb. Thank you Kansas! You fed me so well during my stay. I leave for Cali in the morning. Going going back back to... you know the rest :)

One of the worst Korean BBQ experiences I've come across…read more With my party of 4 and visiting the city, we were first timers to KPOT. We were informed it was a BBQ/Hot pot establishment, but had the option on choosing one of the two options. My group requested just BBQ and we were given an iPad to order. I did not see appetizers besides white rice and asked our server if there were appetizers. Our server mumbled a response, which I believed was only hotpot was given appetizers. After some time, I walked over to the hotpot area, but people having just BBQ were also eating the appetizers as well. I asked our server again and was given an annoyed face with a "yes." The lack of communication was one thing, but the rudeness was off-putting and ruined the vibe. The meat quality and other food options were fine, but that doesn't help the dine in experience if the staff doesn't care; don't want to visit this place again.

We came in as a party of five at 8:30pm, fully aware they close at 9. We ordered quickly and respectfully, excited to enjoy one of my favorite dishes: the chicken katsu. I've raved about it to friends, especially the generous portions--normally two large, pounded-out chicken breasts per order. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a bibimbap, 10 wings, a roll, gyoza, a child's katsu, tempura and two chicken katsu meals (close to $20 each). For our katsus instead of full portions, it was obvious the kitchen split one order between both plates--then handed the scraps to the child's meal, which we were told would be "half" an adult size. It wasn't even close. Not only was the portion insulting, but the food wasn't fresh. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and hard as a rock. I couldn't even bite through one piece--I had to spit it out. When we brought it up, they offered 10% off. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. I had just convinced people to come here based on how good this meal used to be, and instead I ended up apologizing to my guests for bringing them here and still paid for meals we weren't fully served. If you were low on chicken, in a rush to close, or just had a lazy cook that night--own it. Don't try to pass off a single meal as two. That's not just disappointing--it's dishonest. This experience was a joke. And if that's how regulars get treated, I will regular no more.

The sushi was wrapped really loosely and fell apart while I picked it up with chopsticks. My husband's beef teriyaki was good and he had no qualms on the flavor but again presentation was a little messy. Service was good. They refilled our waters and soda without issue. The food came out sporadically and was not sent out together, which left my husband waiting to eat while my food got cold (crispy rice) and then warm (sushi), respectively. Ambiance was dark and moody. Like hard to see dark; there was not enough light from the tiny candle on the table to make up for it. I get the vibe but I would opt for more light overall. The decorations on the walls were tasteful. The overhead lighting felt like they raided the outdoor patio light section of Lowe's when it was clearance in the seasonal garden section. The Tiber on the walls was nice but again felt a bit DIY. My biggest issue was with the tableware. I understand that disposable chopsticks are easier than reusable ones but honestly it would have elevated the meal a lot for me. I know it's picky but for the vibe and location it seems like it would have been an easy add.

I'm…read moreKorean, I spent a short chunk of my childhood in Korea, and enjoy cooking Korean food myself so in part I think part of my hesitation in coming here was "oh I can make that at home." I'm also hugely protective of the cuisine itself and hate how it's been gentrified in recent years so I tend to be pretty critical and admittedly pretentious when it comes to trying out Korean restaurants so I hold them to a higher standard than other types of cuisines. That being said. I was absolutely blown away. This felt like the warmest of hugs from your Korean halmeoni adjacent. I know the current owner took over from the previous owners who were Korean and had owned the restaurant for decades and while I never got to try the restaurant under their ownership I am confident he is doing their legacy justice. The inside is adorable, quaint and clean with the decor itself being charming and thoughtful. Instead of wallpaper pictures of customers over several decades cover the walls floor to ceiling. The menu is the epitome of mostly Korean home cooking and some more familiar take out Chinese dishes. Be patient as it appears to be pretty much run by two people-- one at the counter and one at the kitchen but the wait is worth it. Yaki mandu - made from frozen but honestly, tasty Gimbap - the classic flavors that you look for are all there. This one has bulgogi in it and the danmuji is quite prominent. If you're looking for this to taste like sushi-- it will not taste like sushi. Korean gimbap has its only unique flavor and you'll definitely pick up more sesame flavoring. Kimchi - I fully believe kimchi is a personal taste. There are over 100 kinds and in every Korean home it will taste different. This was for me personally a 7/10. A hair on the salty side for me but the fermentation and spice on it was nice. Extremely generous amount for take out. The mains is where Manna Wok truly shined for me. Everything was so unbelievably authentic, I would never have believed that a non Korean born individual was responsible for making the food if I didn't see it with my own eyes. The care and attention to detail was unmatched. Pork bulgogi - (hot) my husband enjoyed it. This unassuming dish was soft, savory, and sweet and the vegetables were tender but not mushy. Would not have changed a thing. Perfectly authentic and served with rice. Japchae - seasoned perfectly in my opinion. It was a little more garlic heavy than other recipes I've had before but honestly the more garlic the merrier for my personal taste. Noodles had the perfect familiar japchae chewy texture. If you know, you know. Tteokbokki - (very hot) Now listen. This was extremely good, you can find this basically on the shelves now in any Asian grocery store but there's just something about this dish made from scratch. Very hot was pretty much just normal spice for the average Korean. The sauce was thick and savory with a hint of sweet. And also it came with beef? That's actually not traditional so I felt like I was committing robbery by just automatically getting it with a protein so score! Kimchi fried rice - first off, holy portions. It automatically comes with a fried egg so I added a fried egg on accident so woops guess I know that for next time. It had beef also and I appreciated how the kimchi itself was left in pieces that you could see. Made it pleasing to the eye and gave a nice texture. There was a nice glisten to the rice but it was not greasy and the kimchi gave the rice a subtle tangy flavor. Just so so good and stick to your ribs savory. There was not one miss amongst the mains. Portions were in my opinion overly generous for the prices which feel very much pre pandemic, pre inflation, pre before Korean food became trendy to me. I am just floored this place does not have a constant line out the door. For my fellow Koreans, this place is legit. For those looking to try authentic Korean food but don't know where to begin, look no further. If you're brand new to Korean food you cannot go wrong with beef or pork bulgogi, bibimbap (get it hot stone for a special treat), or if you don't mind chewy textures japchae!

B/c it's a bit time consuming to make, a lot of Korean restaurants, esp ones that don't specialize in this dish, might make it from a package. I do the same, but since Grace Market has new ownership, I've been hard pressed to find my noodles. A friend told me about KC, so I gave it a shot. It's a tiny grocery store run by one little woman. She was very helpful and helped me quickly find my noodles along with a few other items (they sell mentaiko)! I think the prices were fair enough, and the place itself was clean. I'm pretty upset that I didn't find this place earlier, though. Apparently, she used to make naengmyeon FROM SCRATCH and served it at her store. I've already told you how frickin' difficult that is to find....and in the Midwest? Forget it! She made other items too in her little kitchen in the back...or used to. Apparently, a customer saw that she was cooking in her store and reported her to the fire department. She was not to code (no hood or something like that), so they told her that til she modified things, she was not allowed to cook there. Of course, she does not have the money to do so, so that's that. To the concerned citizen: Hi, lovely not to have met you. I imagine you're one of those follow-the-rules-off-the-cliff types. Nothing wrong with that. The world needs ppl like you to keep it in line. However, you came between me and my noodles. Now I'm back to instant, packaged B grade stuff. *Sigh*
