8/25/19. Poor experience here. I go to Two Kings all the time in Tamaqua/Hometown. I have always enjoyed friendly service and delicious food. I was expecting a decent experience. We walked in to this tiny place on the hill. No "hello", nothing- I didn't know if we sat ourselves or should wait to be seated until we asked. We sat down, no one took our order- I should've walked out then. We went to the counter, put our order in, then returned to our table, no placemats- no silverware. The person cooking brought our drinks, after a good wait. She delivered our food- a small pizza for my friend, and I ordered wings mild well done. Mine came with no celery but came with blue cheese. The wings were breaded, in their other restaurant they are not. The taste was ok but the wings were drizzled with some Hot wing sauce- that is not how the other locations serve the wings. Why is there no consistency? Even the menus were different. While we were eating, there was a family next to us. Their young boy was making disgusting belching sounds. It was absolutely gross. The parents did nothing about it. The server never brought silverware- I had to get it. The server never checked back to see if we liked everything. Never were we asked if we needed anything. The bathroom toilets barely flushed. I didn't think the bathrooms were terribly clean. The interior of the restaurant seemed dingy to me. I would never set foot in this location again. Came here with friends who have been coming here for years and are friendly with owners. After socializing for a while, we placed our order and went to sit at our tables. Restaurant looks and smells clean. Steak sandwich with peppers, onions, mushrooms and sauce was good. I thought my friend ordered slice cheese pizza for both of us, but it looked like one slice was cut in half. Cheese pizza was good! We also ordered tossed salad, which I also liked. Bathroom has beautiful tiles and was clean! Look forward to my next visit here. read more

Update- the Italian hogies are ok, but they charge you for extras that they don't bother putting on. Specifically hot and sweet peppers. Two times in a row, we ordered, they charged us, but left them off. They also forgot the vinegar. No more chances, I'm not wasting anymore money here. read more

staff is extremely friendly every time you go in here they spark up a nice conversation with you and greet you when you first walk in the door. The food is always good. Earlier this week I kinda ask from a bigger request. I asked for a pizza and then spelled out in pepperoni it says prom. I know this was a little difficult but not much. In the beginning I was thinking I should've made it myself and at the end I SHOULDVE made it myself. In the pepperoni it was clearly not written prom and when they open the box i just kinda thought to myself how could they let me get this pizza with out trying to at least fix it. Always consistent pizza, thin crust, not overly sauced, and not a sweet sauce. It is the go-to in the area for me.

In the past, I have enjoyed their food and felt their prices were fair. Most recently on Super Bowl Sunday I visited and part of the order was incorrect and the cost was extremely high for what I got. read more

The kids liked the pizza but the eggplant Parm platter was terrible. Way too much breading and it was super soggy. It didn't even come with pasta, just a giant hunk of plain bread. The side salad was decent. My husband liked his Stromboli and they gave him a good amount of sauce. Prices were reasonable, but nothing to write home about. read more

There are 3 pizzerias in New Tripoli and this is one of the worst! When we brought our large cheese pizza home, the cheese was running all over the place and fell right off the pizza. We brought the pizza back to show them and they blamed it on us! After a few more minutes of complaining that we weren't going to pay for it, we finally got our money back. My husband and I used to order out from here quite often when the older couple was running the place. However, since the you get generation took over, they are nothing but rude and nasty. Called to place and order and wasn't treated like a customer should be treated. Called right back and cancelled the order. Such a shame!! read more
