From the moment we walked all hosts and services were attentive and explained the tastings and wine lists. I tried flight # 1 with the semi-sweet wines and also added seasonal sangria- blueberry lavender during a girls date. After the flight, I ordered glasses of the Fleur de Lionne and Love and Rose - both were refreshing on a hot day. We ordered the meatball flatbread and pepperoni flatbread, the flatbread was crispy and flavorful. This was the perfect place to enjoy wine, the outdoor area and tasting room make it feel like a nice staycation. Callie and her team provide a great experience, I will definitely be back.

This is still one of my favorite Maryland wineries. From the very first visit to my most recent visit, I always enjoy coming to Two Lions. The vbes and the ambiance is really nice. I love that the employees are so engaging including the owners, Callie and Brad, who always stop by to check on patrons no matter how busy things are. I really appreciate this type of customer service. My last visit we tried the mulled wine which was really good. As they described it, it's "Christmas in a cup." I had to get my favorite wine, Lion's Share! I'm sad that they're closing up for the season soon. If you've never been, I believe this upcoming weekend (December 13th and 14th) is their final weekend so make a reservation if you want to go.

The sun was shining and it was a truly beautiful day at Two Lions. I was there for a private party. The host greeted us and walked us over to the glasshouse. Waitress was prompt and ran through all the different offerings. Most of us did the sweet flight. It was very nice. Kind of mild. But the sangria... 10 out of 10. I wish I could have bottled that up and took it with me. The food was good, but it did take a while to get it out to the table. We arrived maybe around 3 and the kitchen closed at 4 and we got our food like 345. There was a $600 minimum for the glasshouse. We had to keep adding items to get to that minimum, this place is nicely affordable. Sad news, you can't frolic through the vineyeard, not even for a quick pic. Still a lovely day spent.

Wine tastings galor! This was such a cute venue. Parking was a plenty, they also had outdoor seating with a covered area. I love the view because it's just a rolling hills of vineyard grapes and its very picturesque farm. I also liked their furniture. I like how they had different flights for the different types of wine, like if you know you prefer whites there's a flight for that. My friend and I prefer reds, so we had a flight of the Mane Reserve and we also ordered a vegetarian flatbread. Pretty good flatbread, felt a little uneven though distribution/cut wise. Like some cuts had mostly just the crust. The flight came out in unique glasses which I quite liked. They seemed a bit chilled. The wine was good, so we also ordered two more glasses. The flatbread did take some time to come out but I think they ran across some difficulties. As a compromise they did comp one of our glasses of wine.

I came here with my girlfriend for a celebration and really enjoyed myself. I love how the owners and managers are personable, they help the waitstaff with taking and delivering orders, and they also mingle with the guests. It was a warm and welcoming experience. They categorize their wine flights by flavor, for example, sweet or dry. I opted for the sweet flight, as I prefer sweet wine. I also ordered a glass of sangria to go with it. In addition, I ordered a flatbread that was insanely delicious. You're also allowed to bring in outside food, which I did as well. The wines were delicious; however, my favorite was the Fleur De Lioness, which had floral notes and a delicate, divine taste. I ordered a glass of that after enjoying my flight. I made reservations to sit outside, and I'm glad I did, this place gets packed. If you come without a reservation and rely on first-come, first-served seating, it'll be hard to find a spot. The ambiance of this place is out of this world. When I visited, there was a musician playing inside, and the space was nice and spacious. I would most definitely come back!

I visited this winery today after a hike. This is such a beautiful modern winery. The staff is very courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable about all the wines. I had the Sweet Ascent Wine flight which featured the blueberry lavender sangria, red sangria, and Kinship port. They all were very delicious. The Port packed a punch! I also ordered their Crudo Flatbread pizza. It was so good. I can't wait to come back and try more.

The atmosphere and ambiance are beautiful. I love the rustic but chic decor and the minimalist design. For me, wine tasting and wineries are more than just fermented grape juice factories. The aesthetic matters. Here, the owners seemingly took pride in bringing simple beauty to the forefront. The grounds are on a hill surrounded by grape vines and pastural lands. One can just imagine what it would look like in a few weeks when spring has sprung! Service was among the best I have ever experienced at a winery. This being my first time at Two Lions, the staff explained the menu and tasting options, and wine styles. They did not over explain the wine by over using tired metaphors like oaky, leathery, and luscious mouth feel. Rather, they described the wine and the various structures and allowed me to ask questions as necessary. In short, they trusted the wine's consumer as opposed to flaunting their connoisseur chops. The whole service experience was a breath of fresh air. Moreover, the owners both, at different intervals, came to the table to greet each guest. Apart from asking about comfort, they offered some insights into the property, winemaking processes, grapes, terrier, and staff-praise. The husband (one of the "Two Lions" tended the grapes. The wife, completing the Two Lion concept," was the wine maker. The wine was good. I added the Femme Fatale Cabernet Franc Rosé and their wonderful Port wine. I am not a Rosé guy, but it was excellent. I can envision sipping a glass on a beautiful warm day. Come try it for yourselves. I opted for the big reds flight (had a lion themed name that I have forgotten) and was not disappointed. I almost think it is too soon to write this review because they had other flights and wines that I have yet to try. I will be back for sure to do that and to update this review. The prices are reasonable but can start to climb as you add more things like charcuterie,, the Femme Fatale, and the Port tasting. It was early when I arrived, noon, and way too early for me to eat. A review of their offerings will have to wait. Although, the flatbread and charcuterie selections did not seem too friendly to pescatarians and those with gluten allergies. I didn't join the wine club, but will certainly consider it once I find the right combination of wine styles after more extensive tastings. Based on the ambience and service alone "Two Lions" is five star. Add in good wine, reasonable prices, and all located within Prince George's County, I can see why people rave over this place.

I visited two lions with a friend for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival I was welcomed by a bright open space. The woman who greeted me was friendly and gave me the run down. I decided to be seated inside and listen to the live music. My friend chose a glass and I went for a flight. She wanted a second glass but it never came out. The flight pours felt very light and I also wanted a glass but after being bombarded with different servers when we'd first sat down then we couldn't get any help. The flat bread was pretty tasty but they also never brought us plates or napkins. The place was really nice, we went outside afterwards to take a peek and it was super cute, I would return in the future I just hope for consistent attentive service during my visit.

Who doesn't love a cute trip to a winery! A group of us came here for a relaxing Sunday with some cute sips. The GPS could direct you to the wrong driveway so be sure to look out for the road signs when you get close. We brought our appetites as we ordered all of the flatbreads as well as a charcuterie board. Everyone enjoyed all of the flatbreads. We also tried various wine flights. I got the red wine flight, #4. If you're into dryer reds then you'll enjoy it. They also had hot toddies which, who doesn't love those?! Their hot toddies were quite good. I heard the sangria was good also. Only downside here is that there's no brunch. So don't expect to get any ends etc. Also, there was so specific waiter assigned to our table so it was just a rotation of different people. Because of that something you order could get lost in the fray or take longer than you expected. Overall, two lions was worth the visit and I'd come back!

This winery was too good to not share - so I returned, with my mom this time! Another great visit with great wine. The staff here is very attentive, as they've been before - and that, is thoroughly appreciated. This visit, my mom and I decided to sit inside, but after our wine and dine, we walked outside to take pictures. What we both did not know, was there was an outside greenwall (pictured) where you can take pictures - AND get a refill! Love this spot. I had an amazing experience. The space is gorgeous and we throughly enjoyed everything from the moment we walked through the doors. The team was attentive, the patrons were nice and engaging. The live music was wonderful and hearing about upcoming events had us exciting. I would recommend signing up for more information to stay informed. I will 1000% return and if they were a little closer I'd become a member. There are additional vineyards in the area so I plan to make a day of the next trip. Our own little Napa experience in Upper Marlboro.

We came here as a group of 8 and we were greeted with great energy as soon as we walked in! They have great indoor seating, but we opted to sit outside. I enjoyed the views outside, there was a great view of their vineyard. We brought our own snacks and chose to enjoy some flights to start off. I really loved the Cuvée & RoséAll Day flight, my favorite was the Cuvée Rosé! We all got our favorite bottles while we indulged in our treats. The servers were very helpful and friendly, that made our experience even better. Safe to say, I'm looking forward to the next trip here! read more

Perfect Sunday afternoon hangout with the girls. Staff were welcoming, provided suggestions based on their personal favorite, and continued checking on us to ensure we were ok. This is such a cute little local winery. We went back in October while the weather was still nice. We grabbed a picnic table outside and enjoyed the sun. Not to mention, we did not enjoy the bees lol, but they didn't spoil the experience. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and gave us a tasting of two before we settled on the rosé. It was crisp and delicious. We also ordered the charcuterie, which was pretty good, but for $35, they could've given us more food. All in all, I enjoyed the day and will return. read more

My husband and I wanted to host a fall winery Saturday funday with our friends and this was the first stop on our tour. It was easy to contact the vineyard via email and coordinate our large group's visit. On the day of, some of the people were running late and would meet us at the next spot instead. The vineyard staff was fine with the change and still kept the good time going for those who were able to attend. We tried their mulled wine and ordered several of their flatbreads which were sooo delish! The wine flights were also good. We checked out their grounds and they let us check out their cellar where they had set up for a wedding. It was so beautiful. We had a great time and will definitely will be back with our friends sometime soon! read more

Went here on a Saturday with my girls for a much needed girls day! There was plenty of parking behind the building. You do have to walk up a hill but nothing too crazy. The service was great. They had covered seating with chairs with backs and stools. It was busy on that Saturday and we grabbed the let stool table. You can bring your own food or pick something from their menu. They have gluten free pizza which was DELICIOUS! The wine came in flights, individual glasses or whole bottles. My party did a mix of everything. We had a great time and will definitely be back. When a rainy Saturday quickly turns into a sunny almost 60 degree Saturday (in December), the one thing you have to do is enjoy a glass of wine or two at one or your local wineries. Two Lions Vineyards is one of the newest wineries in Southern MD that you must visit. From service (ask for Amy, she will take good care of you), to a wide variety of wine, sangria and snacks (charcuterie boards and ice cream), the entire visit was one that will for sure have me come back to visit. Tried the "On The Sweeter Side" flight along with the mulled wine and white sangria. I have to say I've never had a mulled wine before, I'm really smh that I've waited this long. Unfortunately you can't purchase a bottle of mulled wine to take home but you can of the white sangria (snagged a bottle for mine). Unfortunately, Next Saturday (December 10th is the last Saturday the vineyard will be open until next year). Do yourself a favor and check them out next weekend. You won't be disappointed! read more

Two lions is easily one of my top three wineries in the area. I do prefer to arrive early because when it's full, the service can be a bit slow and it gets pretty loud. That said, the service is always very friendly which makes for an extra pleasant visit. The wines are very good (particularly the Leonne) and I am hoping Two Lions Vineyards comes up with a membership in the near future so I can join. Ask about renting the downstairs area for parties. I haven't done it, but only because I didn't find out about it until the last day they were open before closing for the season. It's a wonderful place! read more

Love at first sight! It's so cute and cozy but at the same time spacious enough to be a supreme event venue. The outside vibe is like a family picnic. It's a perfect rustic kickback. I had been driving past this new winery for weeks, wanting to go, but not having any free time on a Saturday until yesterday. You should definitely make the time! This place is beautiful, well thought out, and carries a great selection of tasty wine. The owner, Callie, was so sweet and took the time to chat with us about the wine, the snacks they have available, and the little details that she seems very passionate about. They promote local businesses, with charcuterie boxes from Honey Boards and ice cream from Bee'z Knees, both of which operate out of St. Mary's County. I got the Chardonnay flight, all 3 of which were very good. I also tried the weekly special, a strawberry basil sangria, and had a couple glasses of the cuvée. Highly recommend visiting this vineyard, I know I'll be coming back! read more

This winery is the place to visit. The owner Callie is amazing. My family were out driving and noticed this winery. We stopped right as they were closing and instead of turning us away, Callie invited us in and gave us a personal wine tasting. We tried all the wines, and they were amazing. They have wines for every wine drinker. Dry to Sweet, Reds and Whites they were all amazing. We liked it so much on the first visit we became wine club members. We even went back the next weekend and had the same friendly staff meet us. read more

There are so many wonderful things I can say about the vineyard. Outside of the beautiful property and amazing wine (the white sangria was my favorite). The service here surpasses the services from the other vineyards in the area. As a special treat on of the owners was walking around talking to guess. She is an amazing host and adds an extra touch of warmth to the already welcoming atmosphere. read more

This place is awesome! It's warm, cozy and rustic, the perfect combination. This Vineyard is one of the newest in the upper Marboro area and I love it. The owner Callie and her husband worked so hard to make this winery gorgeous. She actually painted the shiplap by hand. Our wine tour was very relaxed and she did a great job explaining all the differences of the wines. She's really passionate about wine and wants people to find the wine that they like and be knowledgeable about it. Prepare for lots of laughs and great wine. Pro tip: make sure you eat before you go, you will be tipsy around the fourth glass of wine. The wine has an 18% alcohol content so you're going need quite a bit of bread to soak up all this alcohol. Make sure you definitely check this place out. I did go in November so there were no grapes on the vines but I definitely plan on going back in the spring and checking it out. Either way just go, you will definitely have a good time. read more

Amazing venue. This winery has only been open for two and a half months, but the wine has a years of sophistication. Whites and Reds were well balanced and complex. The staff was attentive and very knowledgeable. The winemaker visited our table giving us personal attention. Absolutely a great find and would highly recommend a visit. read more

My birthday twin and I went on a birthday winery tour with a group of our friends. Our first stop was Two Lions Vineyards. I reserved the private tour in advance or our arrival. When I say Two Lions was a hard act to follow...honey everything about our experience there was next level. We also found another birthday twin. What are the chances. We were greeted by Callie with two kinds of mimosas. She previewed the tour and gave us time to admire their beautiful building and take pictures. After a few days touring around the capital, my friends and I wanted a change of scenery. We stumbled upon Two Lions Vineyards about 20mins outside of the city, and we are so glad we did. Beautiful setting, phenomenal staff, and the tour from Callie learning the progress from grape to cup was top notch. Do yourself a favor, when planning a trip to the nations capital include this little gem on your itinerary. You will NOT regret it. read more

Two Lions is a must-visit winery. Beautiful location in the rolling hills of SE Maryland. The wine is great and the staff treat you like royalty. While many head to the outskirts of Virginia for wine, I recommend an audible to the East of DC for this one-of-a-kind venue. Live music, outdoor seating and bottles to go! Very beautiful winery! Met up with few friends there and it was nice and laid back. The Chardonnay flight was great. They had live music and my only issue was that the patio chairs had no backs which is minor if you don't get tipsy. Pet friendly and lots of parking. Will come again. read more

If I'm being honest, the wine was okay...I've come to have low standards for Maryland wine and this was on par. As I was sitting there, a random dude in some regular blue jeans and a pullover walked through the patio door and immediately introduced himself as Tom and shook my hand. It wasn't until he made it two more people down that I realized it wasn't a regular dude, but Tom the owner. Tom made his way around the table, then stood at the end of the table and started talking. The more he talked the more it became clear that this wasn't some random rant or rehearsed speech, it was a man who allowed himself to become immersed in his passion right in front of us. I won't say what he talked about because it would ruin it for you if you go and get the chance to meet him (here's a hint, ask him how his past brought him to present), but those 11-13 minutes made the outing worth it and then some. Everyone at the table was fascinated by him and inquired if he planned to host Ted talks in the future. And just as casually as he entered the room, he left. I had the most delightful birthday brunch at this charming vineyard, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and stunning views of the lush grounds. The ambiance was serene and inviting--perfect for a relaxing afternoon with lots of laughs and catching up with my girls. The food was also delicious! Every dish was expertly crafted, full of fresh, locally sourced ingredients that truly elevated the flavors. The berry Belgian waffle and farmers omelette were absolute standouts. But the real stars of the show were the sangrias and mimosas--so crisp and refreshing with a nice kick. Each glass was perfectly balanced with their own signature wines, adding a lovely twist to classic brunch cocktails. These were probably some of the best mimosas and sangrias I've had in months and well worth our purchase of the mixing kits they had for sale. Speaking of the wine, we couldn't resist sampling a few different options from the vineyard. Every single one was exceptional. You can tell they take pride in their craft, as each sip was a journey through the unique flavors of their vines. The Fleur de Lionne white blend was a real showstopper with the smell of fresh cut roses with each sip. Our party loved it so much, we signed up for the wine club so we could buy some bottles of it to take home. If you're looking for a special brunch experience that combines delicious food, excellent drinks, and breathtaking surroundings, this vineyard is a must-visit! We're already planning our next visit. We had a party of 9. We were fine sitting at multiple tables, separately. The owner (blond woman) said they couldn't seat us... at all. There were more than six open tables in the dining room. There was plenty of space and we were happy to sit separate, we didn't understand what the problem was. But she didn't explain. She offered a free wine tasting before she "kicked us out." Her words. A couple of us begrudgingly took her up on it, but the wine wasn't really that great. We didn't finish the tasting and we left. We've since gone to two different wineries and they had no problem seating us and taking our money. If we could at least understand why she couldn't split us, we would try to be reasonable. It is not a huge place, but it has such a charm to it and is literally the definition of a hidden gem. There's a bunch of industrial buildings and offices on the street past the police station on 301, and you will find this. I find myself seeing Cyrus the most, cool guy! They make and sell their own spirits, and I would say they have something for everybody. I tend to go for their margarita and Maryland Five Star for cocktails, which use their tequila and whiskey respectively. Sometimes the back room is used for special events, but you will see a lot of barrels and other storage stuff back there. There is a secret cigar lounge upstairs, which I haven't really gotten to hang out in since I don't smoke. But I did take a peek inside and it looks really nice. They sell some random other things, like snacks, board games about bourbon, and more. Do yourself a favor and go, you won't regret it. They aren't the bourbon of the Commanders for no reason!

Their wine selection is phenomenal and perfectly complements the meal. The restaurant is consistently busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation. The indoor bar area is on the smaller side, but they also offer outdoor seating, which is a great option when the weather is nice. The wait staff are always friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. If you're ever in the Annapolis, MD area and appreciate delicious food paired with an outstanding wine selection, this is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.

It's very clean and the staff is very friendly. While the venue is very nice, I'm not a fan of the food. Both events I attended here had a very bland menu. The food was nice and hot but lacked flavor. Last night, I couldn't find one thing that I enjoyed eating. Also, the walls separating the rooms are not good at blocking out sound. We attended a gala with presentations and sometimes the music from the other room would drown out the Mic system so we could barely hear the presenters. Also, it is somewhat hard to find. The first time, we went to the church thinking that was it, not realizing it was around the back of the church. Maybe more signage would help!

I did not receive all the items on my invoice and when I brought it to Mrs. attention she stated it was a typo. I sated I know what I ordered and the invoice was correct. After further discussion she agreed to refund the difference. It is now 2 weeks later and she has changed heroine and is now back to a typo excuse. I have tried to handle it fairly but I fear this will now become a legal issue as I have the invoice and her statement of error and agreement for a refund. Again be careful when dealing with this company. Her word means nothing!!!
