In their early years they were terrific (90's). Jump to 2022 and they were disrespectful, dishonest, down right thieves. In a public area, they chose to play their muscis which was full of racial slurs, cuss words and flat out, bad taste on full blast at both locations. They broke an item of mine and lend me to believe they would be fired if I made a claim. Then during the unloading stage, they were coming at me so fast and ignoring the labeling on the boxes, it became chaotic. I just wanted it done. Then oddly, they asked me to step out and look at the back of the truck to verify that everything was unloaded. Yeah, I had a weird feeling and knew something was up. I was 61 and handicapped so I just wanted them gone. And yes, they asked for a tip. Looked things over since I had to redo the mess they left me and realized they had stolen a TV set and some collectibles. Called the Columbus location and they offered to send them back out to properly place the boxes in the correct rooms and stack them. First I agreed then got smart and called back and said, "He'll no". CROOKS, LIARS, THIEVES They deserve a negative rating not a one star. read more

The movers called before they came, were right on time, prepared the floors with a protective sheet, wrapped the furniture before moving, were very careful with the furniture. We moved with a ton of stuff recently and Two Men and a Truck were wonderful getting us through it. There was a glitch with the day of our move, and they jumped in and found an alternate date before we even asked. The women who helped us were so kind and helpful. The guys who helped us move were great. Quick, courteous, and careful with our stuff. It was almost 100 degrees out and they kept up their pace, even when it took an extra 2 hours. I used Two Men and a Truck twice recently, to move my home, and separately to move my office. The home move went pretty smoothly. The crew of three movers were not particularly friendly, but they got the job done reasonably well. On my second (office) move, my rate was more for two movers than what it had been for three (at my home) the day before. When I called them they gave me the 'different rate for different days' line and refused to change the rate. I proceeded with the move and while these guys on this move seemed to have a bit more personality, they clearly did not care about my stuff, contrary to the 'Movers Who Care' slogan on the side of their truck.. The day got more and more difficult, with this team of two disappearing for several minutes at a time at various times during the move, with a smell of cigarettes lingering in the air outside. At $199/hr -I really don't feel like I should be paying for smoke breaks! They moved plants but left the plant stands behind. Moved electronics but left power cords and accessories behind. As the day went on, they could sense my that their moods and attitudes deteriorated. They mentioned that they had done a move that morning, so maybe they were overworked &/or tired. But honestly, I don't feel like that should have been my problem since I was paying premium rates for movers... As the time on the initial estimate I had agreed to, came to closer to ending, they stopped putting items in the rooms they were designated for and instead just started 'dumping' boxes in my living room and garage! When the estimated time expired, they were trying to tell me they were done/finished with several items still sitting in my driveway outside... The overall move was miserable. Nothing was majorly broken, but I have used 'good' movers many times before and I could tell my stuff had not been cared for. This was the opposite of what paying premium pricing for good movers should be. This was awkward, stressful, aggravating and a lot of work for me. My ex-wife also moved at the same time and she had a wonderful experience with her movers... I helped her in the process so can also vouch for the moving company she used. The workers came energized, with smiles on their faces and 'can-do' attitudes which they maintained throughout the move. I had a very good experience with the guys that helped us move all our big furniture. They took extra care wrapping and securing everything we needed them to take. They got to our place on time and began working promptly. The work was done before the 4hr estimated time and we got a pro-rated discount and paid only for the time it took them to move. We moved out of a place with an elevator and into a 3rd story apartment without an elevator and their efficiency and speed did not diminish! Thanks guys! read more

Well I am not the person moving in/out but as a resident who came home and saw this truck blocking not just regular parking spots but also a handicap spot. I said something to the guy in the truck and I was told they had no other option. Well that was actually incorrect because the other side where there are no parking spots but allow people to park and pass by still was open. Plus they where just sitting there no loading or unloading what so ever. I was also told they where just about to move... that was at least 20-30 mins ago. I had l bed-2 dressers-table-tv-desk and 2 lamps Downstairs 3 ottoms-kitchen table and 2 chairs-(2) 4 tier shelves and 16 pots Cost me 652.00 for a 3 hour move. Bed already broken down but the claim it won't do down the steps takes them an1/2 hour to separate 2 pieces. I am stunned that a 1 bedroom moved took 3 hours, I still have items at my home that I could moved because I am still.moving in my car. I could not afford any more time. This was a rip off. I am a senior and watch my money and I can't afford for these companies to waste time and make a 2 hour job a 3 hour job. read more

They arrived within the window I expected them to, calling and giving me about a 1/2 hour heads up. They got all of my place moved with about 30 minutes to spare so that amount was deducted from my estimated price. I was very pleased with their service, professionalism, and ease of use. Very easy to get a quote and schedule. Team arrived on time. Primary request was to move refrigerator from garage to basement. After getting it inside I realized I had missed the width measurement by half an inch and would not fit through basement doorway. Team tried everything to make it work without success. I normally only post positive reviews unless it's a really bad experience (see other reviews). When I called in regarding a move, I reviewed the items/rooms that would be moving and was told the move would take 3-4 hours. They sent a very inexperienced team of two that didn't arrange the truck so that my belongings would fit and it took almost 10 hours (one bedroom set, one couch, two tables, piano and appliances + an extra freezer. 8-10 boxes were included (we moved the rest on our own). So much damage was done to the new home (large chunk out of front step, broken side step on back porch, drywall damage, deep scratch in brand new floors, broken live edge walnut slab table, dent in brand new washer). It took months for them to send someone to fix the broken/damaged items. The floor was fixed and looked like original. The rest looks mended and the dent in the brand new washing machine remains (offered $100 appearance settlement and then finally went up to $200-what a joke when you spend way more than that on something you only purchase a few times in your life). DO NOT RECOMMEND! Very disappointed. read more

I did not have a good experience with the Mansfield location. The movers had an attitude...especially the driver and they would not haul some items for me. They made a false claim that I had bedbugs. I scheduled my move well in advance. The truck arrives and they won't park on a slight slant. Funny, that wasn't a problem on my last move with them a couple of years ago. Then they said that there weren't any side door trucks available that they would need. Funny, that wasn't a problem last time. Then they said that the move would take hours longer because they'd have to park a considerable distance away. Funny, that wasn't a problem last time. Then they said that I'd have to pay for any parking tickets. I said that wasn't going to happen. Then the guy at their office said that he would have the crew return and get a side door truck. Funny after none being available they suddenly found one. The driver was a liar. My first move with this company was great and the crew were top notch. This move has now turned into a nightmare. Now they came back with the truck and didn't even bring any boxes. They said that a packing crew should have come out. They're going to call for boxes but if someone doesn't bring them out I'll have to go to Lowe's and buy boxes or move everything not in a box myself. A total nightmare of a move. read more

Worst movers ever. Asked them to not load a box of computer monitors onto the truck as I was going to put them in my car to transport. Found the box with two 4k computer monitors under 5 heavy boxes. Also had a 4k OLED tv loaded into the moving truck to find out it was damaged during transportation. Made a claim with the company we were told we signed a release right at the end indicating the company has no liability. Therefore they charge you thousands break your things. Thousands of dollars in items broken that the company wont replace all because their movers don't understand how to protect and pack a truck of expensive items. Will NEVER use this company again. Not only we're the movers intentionally slow, unorganized, and not respectful of covid guidelines, but they also damaged multiple items of furniture and the house we left and moved to. In addition, they are refusing to pay for the items that were damaged and are dragging out any sort of resolution. What they quoted me was not the same amount as the confirmation email I received from them, by about $400. When I called to clarify the man mentioned that it "might not take them as long" and that "they rely on tips, so they'll be speedy" ??? I asked how that's reliable information and why wouldn't they just take their allotted time to make as much money as they are QUOTING me for?? His only response was to take me off the schedule. Honestly super disappointing. It was our first time using a moving service and the team showed up to our house in terrible moods and complained the entire time loudly in front of us about moving our things. It made it incredibly uncomfortable, stressful and made moving an even worse experience. They weren't friendly at all at the beginning and they even asked us to move all of our things into one room for them.... super surprising to have to move anything with the price. We even had less belongings than we had quoted due to selling a treadmill and bed. They also quoted us a much shorter time frame and it took a lot longer. I understand things can take longer, and that would have been fine, but one of the two men barely worked. He stood around and almost seemed to be supervising the other working. Only helping with bulkier items that required two people. With two people it would have been completed much faster rather than one person to move everything. I will say we had an hour and a half drive to our new place and they acted completely different once we got there and brought help to finish up the last bit. Super friendly, fast, professional and positive on the last part. Super disappointing our entire experience couldn't have been like that. It left us wishing we had just moved ourselves. read more

I've never hired movers before. But, I guess I'm getting old- I don't feel guilty about getting them this time. Saved my back- and my friends' backs. Movers showed up on time, three college kids with supplies like boxes and blankets in case I needed them. They were all polite and helpful. They loaded the truck efficiently, and didn't mind my helping a bit (I can't just stand around...) Things took a little longer than planned, but we were still done in plenty of time. Nothing was damaged. The charge was a bit higher than the original phone estimate, but I had more stuff than I realized. Overall, it was reasonable. read more

Worst move ever. They sent three guys, one got sick and spent the entire time in the bathroom.Too the other two guys way too long and but they finally finished up and drove down to Columbus. They got lost in downtown Columbus and ended up not arriving until an hour and half after I did. Live on the main East West street in Columbus. The move in took way too long. They couldn't figure out how to put my Bed Frame together - kept arguing with me that I didn't have the right parts. Given that they pulled it apart, would think they could put in back together. Kept trying to use parts from the Queen bed frame on the King bed frame. almost midnight before they finally finished the move and that was with my husband and I doing part of the moving of furniture. Finally got to bed, and at 2:30 in the morning, our king bed frame collapsed and the top of the bed frame fell to the floor. They left my very expensive outdoor table for 6, 6 chairs and umbrella behind. Completely forgot to load it. I complained about the additional fees due to the one guy getting sick, the loss of my outdoor furniture and the move taking so long - they actually charged me for the extra time. They gave me back about $ 200 for the $ 2,000 they charged me. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

This move wasnt happening until October or November so I really just needed an estimate not to speak on the phone especially after I went through their website advising best form of contact is email and to email the estimate. He wanted me to call in which would of been a waste of time and I asked him just to email me...well he never replied. So that tells me they have horrible customer service, not about their customers and not worth my time or money if they can't even take the time to email after I took the time to go through their website to provide the most accurate request with my moving needs. I was driving on 270 behind one of their vans and they did not clear the ice off the top of the van. A sheet of ice flew off, hit the front of my car, and broke my front light and dented my hood. I used their service in September 2021 to move from a two-bedroom apartment to a home. The cost was $842 they had three people all were nice and polite. They are very good at keeping to the time they quote you they will say it might be a little more or a little less. I did find that they did slow down when it was going too fast to keep with the quote cost they could have cut an hour from my time. Overall it was a okay experience not the best nor the worst I don't know if I would recommend them to other people. read more

We hired Two Men and a Truck just a couple weeks ago cause we had to move in a hurry and were too busy (and lazy) to do it ourselves. After having professionals move our stuff, I don't think I'll ever want to do it myself again! First we had them come and pack our whole house for us. And when I say pack our whole house, I mean they really packed our WHOLE house! They even packed up the bug traps that were on the floor in our old apartment! They neatly and securely packed every last thing and labled all the boxes with what was in side and what room it went in. It. Was. AWESOME. Then the movers came and moved everything they had packed for us into our new place. The guys were super nice and friendly. They arrived right within the scheduled time frame and went over everything before starting. Everything was moved safely to our new place and nothing was broken or damaged. Perfect! My only gripe is how expensive the whole thing is. The final cost was about $400 over what they had originally quoted us. Kinda sucked, but at least we didn't have to do all the work ourselves. read more

I am revising my review from 2 stars to 4. I would have given 5 stars but the price is still a little high. I had to move twice within 30 days. I used Two Men and a Truck 10 years ago and was very impressed with that initial experience. I submitted my 2 star review after filling out 2 online comment cards and leaving a voicemail for the operations manager. All three times, I requested to be contacted about my previous experience. When I wasn't contacted, I filed a dispute with the BBB and disputed half the amount with my credit card company. Only then I was contacted by Two Men and a Truck's general manager. He made good on his promise to fix what went wrong. I was extremely pleased with the results of the most recent move and would recommend them highly again. read more

Had them move my mother in law. They showed up early on a day with 1/2 inch of ice on the roads. Loaded everything with care, walked the property repeatedly with mother in law to make sure she had all the items she wanted and set them up in her new place at her direction. Hard workers who cared. What an awful experience. My mattresses are ruined and my furniture scuffed. I wish I could turn back time to work with any other moving company. This team was extremely unprofessional the whole move and seemingly went out of their way to treat our items carelessly. When we contacted them they stated they would do nothing to remedy since we do not have photos of our items pre move. This was an awful moving experience. If everything is boxed and unbreakable, you might be able to use them. But take meticulous photos of everything first incase you decide you do care about something you're spending a good sum of money to move. (Because, you know, you're moving and all and will clearly have time for it.) However if you care about the condition of your furniture when it gets to your destination, hire someone else. The office was helpful, but the movers were the worst of four different moves. This was my second time using two men and a truck, my first time was about 10 years ago in Cincinnati. In between, I used two other companies, both of which were great. I scheduled a pack, move, and junk removal at the same time and while the office was easy to work with, the two guys who showed up were courteous but clueless. They didn't know what they were there for, how to pack, or how to overall be effective. This is all forgivable, but what is incredible is when their office calls them and realizes they are behind. The movers had the office on speakerphone and clear as day the office says "so, why are you guys behind? More stuff than expected? Ok, charge up extra time" Also forgivable, except if you have two guys that can't pack up an apartment kitchen and one small closet in 3 hours, that is inexcusable. Cool. Finally, at the end the office gets on the phone again to go over charges and on speakerphone they say the total is 1800$, sure, 300$ over the estimate but no biggie. What is charged to the card though? 2000$. Still sorting through the details, because the emailed receipt doesn't explain anything, but far and beyond the worst moving company experience I've had out of 4. read more

Moved from Cbus to Indiana. These guys made it a VERY easy experience. I did all the packing myself so the day of the move things when very smoothly and fast. We had one minor hiccup, no one had told the drivers that they were supposed to bring garment boxes. Another team of drivers dropped some off with zero drama. They took great care of my move, were personable, professional, and all around great. Having had a horrible moving experience several years ago with a different company I REALLY appreciated this experience. read more
