This place is awesome!! Me and a few friends came on Saturday for dinner and drinks for the 1st time and had a great time! The patio is amazing, and inside they have all their tables very spread out, and seemed to be really sticking to the covid-19 rules more so than ALOT of places we've been recently, and I know that's hard for restaurants right now but these guys really seem to go above and beyond to keep people safe, (we loved the little hand sanitizer they give to each table too :) ) The food and drinks were to die for, we had the crab cakes on our servers recommendation and he really nailed it, my compliments to the kitchen staff!! There's a huge beer selection and plenty of good cocktails and a solid wine list :) The band that was playing, and I'm so sorry I can't remember their name, played their hearts out :). And the server Alvin was super friendly and courteous and just all around awesome and did a great job explaining all the drink and food related questions we had , and killed it with the suggestions he had ;) Overall it was an amazing experience, from the food and drinks to the atmosphere to the live music to the whole patio vibe, and the service was incredible as well. Came here for the first time today and it was great!! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was chill and welcoming, and we had wonderful, attentive service! I even forgot my to-go box on the table and the hostess ran it out to me in the rain as I was getting in my car!! A friend and I came in on a cold November evening, but immediately warmed up with the fun atmosphere. There was live music on Saturday and the decor was inviting and open. The beer menu is generous and I ordered this amazing winter saison! The food menu is typical pub food, but the quality is definitely a notch above. Pleasant surprise in my neighborhood... we have driven by it over and over and always meant to stop in and finally made it our destination. We chose to sit in the patio in the back and it was beautiful and cozy like being in your own back yard or a friends. Games to play... and a very relaxing experience overall. Great selection of craft beers on tap or bottle. Then comes the menu and food. We really enjoyed our numerous selections... wings, green chili etc. The staff works pretty well with each other and help take care of your needs. I came here just for a quick lunch with my mom and I was less than amazed by everything. The food was bland boring bar food, the atmosphere was extremely dull and boring. they can really spruce up the place and have the space to do so. The booths were also falling apart. The one I was at was ripped and stuffing was coming out and was very uncomfortable. Service wasn't that great either. The guy we had was nice but he took forever to get refills or just get our orders. I mean the place was empty and there were maybe four other groups in here when we were. Finally got around to checking out this place last night, and I'm a fan. It reminds me of a sports bar that has a nicer ambience. The fare is typical casual food (burgers, pizza, wings, etc) but they also have a make your own salad option! For $5, you get to pick 3 items on your choice of greens and dressing. This comes with a little basket of seasoned bread triangles, too! So if you're not starving. I'd definitely recommend the "medium" salad. They have beer! Lots and lots of local beer, including a gluten free raspberry ale by Bonfire, and (my personal favorite), the Grist Berliner Weisse. You get to pick a fruit flavor to drop in, if you, like me, like fruity sours. The staff is also super friendly! They'll let you try a sample or two to help you decide what kind of beer to go with your meal. Throw in the cornhole station on the back patio, and you've got a winner in this place. read more

Beer garden, with an amazing tap list, set up to sample or get pints of. We tried several obscure beers. We also had the1/2 fried chicken- really good! Server was lovely. The outdoor tables are really nice to enjoy a slow afternoon. We found ourselves here, after the extremely disappointing Colorado Chile fest. I was going to review it, but I don't have much nice to say. I've been so curious about this place - it's very close to where I live and the patio looks very nice. It was too cold to sit outside when I went, so, I sat at the bar. They have very reasonably priced drinks and 33 beers on tap. The menu is somewhat limited, but, they do have good choices. I had the fish and chips. I have to say, it was one of the best I've had. It was fresh, crispy and they have great fries. The coleslaw was also very good and they make their own tartar sauce, which was also excellent. The service was also great - the bartender was a little awkward - I'm pretty sure he was new - but he was so nice and attentive. When I left, he thanked me for coming and keeping him company. He was very sweet. They had live music - a duo - not too loud, playing at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and they have Geeks Trivia and yoga events, which I think I'd like to try out sometime. The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because they hardly have any TV's and they're all small. If they had more televisions and larger ones, this bar would be perfect. They already have the beer and good food - why not add the televisions and we can watch the games here!!!! This area desperately needs more upscale places to watch football. I'd love some Bingo, too. I've only written a few yelp posts over the years, as I am in the industry and choose to deal with less than amazing experiences in person. That said, I am overjoyed to find that 2 Penguins is every bit as wonderful as they were before 2020 turned us all upside down. Their patio is perfectly spaced for public safety, those who work there are diligent in sanitizing and washing hands. The servers are on top of every need one might have while dining (thanks for bringing water for both myself and my dog before we even asked!) I've been here around 12 times in the last two years; having become aware of it while attending a dramatic trial at the justice center that is right up the road. Every single person who works here has always gone out of their way to make my dining experience wonderful but also to make sure my day has improved my the time I leave. Beers are plentiful and they have a great liquor selection. The food is high quality comfort food at a fair price, and they've never once missed anything on my very particular (pain in the ass) to go food. Support these folks whenever you are nearby; you'll be glad you did. read more

This used to be one of our favorite family-friendly places to come with our kids. They have a great patio, and they used to have corn hole on a little grass area. The food was always just ok, but a great beer list and patio made it lovely. We'd sit on the patio while the kids played cornhole, having a beer while we waited for dinner. On our latest trip, our 3 kids were playing quietly on the grass. There was no corn hole. The GM sent the hostess (kind of lame m, IMO) to ask us to make our kids come sit at the table. Not because they were bothering anyone or being loud (I'm sure this is the case sometimes, but they really were playing quietly. We dealt with mediocre food because of the atmosphere and ability to sit at a table next to some grass while the kids played. I guess they've chosen adult happy hour over families. My husband and I stopped here for dinner and were immediately happy with the service. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer which was amazing: superbly crisp with a yummy balsamic drizzle. Then we shared an order of fish and chips which were also impressively crisp and served with a really good homemade tartar sauce. To top it all off, we rinsed it down with the most delicious, complex hard cider I've ever had: vanilla bourbon from the old mine cider company. We Always read health scores when available. Yours was stellar and insures our family giving our business to you. Sadly, too many supposedly good recommendations are given for restaurants that have horrid health scores, odd how many customers do not even read or are unaware of the significant numbers. Made our way in after a delayed flight to Denver. We had seen this place on Yelp w good reviews. Came at 3pm on a Monday for a late lunch and the place was fairly empty. Even so, the wait staff was attentive and very nice. Great selection of Colorado beers. My daughter loves Chips and Queso and that didn't disappoint. Nice little place, very convenient for me. Usually do take out, not dine in. Food is good. Like the salads and fish and chips, although prefer my own cole slaw (or King Soopers). Nicely tucked away in an area of Centennial with many businesses. Parking lot fills up in midafternoon, especial Wednesday through Saturday. Has an extra bonus of availability for private parties on Sundays (usually closed to public) and see that it is used often, which is great. read more

Ate here last night for dinner. Convenient location as it is super close to where I am working! I've been wanting to try it out for a few months now, and yesterday was the day. The place is beautiful. Very spacious and well designed. If it were nicer outside, we'd have opted to sit out in the seating area outdoors. The food was okay..nothing to really write home about. I had wings and fries. Me being the wing snob that I am..I wasn't excited bout my choice. The flavor was good, I had a whiskey bbq flavor, but they really needed to be more crispy. The fries I had also needed to be more crispy as I am not a fan at all of limpy fries. Kiddo had mac n cheese & fruit which looked good. My brother in law had the fish n chips. He just said "it was okay, too much breading". And the hubs had pulled pork which he said was kind of dry. The drinks were yummy though. 36 different CO beer on tap?! yes please! I tried this raspberry flavored beer and it was delicious.a nice and mild brew. The hubby had Dads n Dudes Dank which he always loves. Stopped here for lunch with some co-workers, mainly because I love penguins and the sign caught my eye. Knowing that penguins are universally harbingers or good things, I figured that this place would be an easy win... and of course I was right (penguins all the way). The setting is nice and open, with a rustic mountain feel. It's definitely a place you would enjoy hanging out for an extended period of time. The menu is focused, but has a lot of flair to the dishes, as you may expect at a gastro pub. The chefs specials were on point. The brussel sprouts were amazing, and well received by the whole table. The burgers pair well with the house chips, and the beer selection is expansive.
