Always attentive, with a smile & cheery personalities! You may even get a hug if you're a local Value-Acceptable prices if the food is going to be good and served by happy wait staff. If not, I would think they may be a bit on the pricey side for like the grilled cheese but the oysters were huge! Totally worth the price. The yummy dipping sauce I could drink! Asked for to go boxes but they ended up at A&W on way home. There's real potential here--the kitchen is strong--but the front-of-house team needs additional training and the Owners need guidance to better support the food quality.

A consideration for those wanting their beer is they don't bottle or can it to go as that's pricey. Had their half pound BBQ burger and French fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the cook did a good job, but it lacked a sort of flavor that I expect. The BBQ sauce and cheese were ok, the bun was standard, something was just off about it, can't really say what it was. Like I said, will return as it seems like a few locals were there and those are the types of places to go to! Plus, think they're one of the few restaurants in the area close to ocean.

Everything looked good, however, my fries were lacking warmth and my burger bun was stale. It was not soft and fresh. I ended up not eating the bun, but just the burger itself. My daughters mac N cheese wasn't as great as she expected either. It was bland and dry. Yes, it had cheese, but it was stringy and not creamy. My husband loved his fish and chips. Hot and fresh and looked amazing. I did have a bite and it did taste really good. Note taken: Do NOT order anything but the fish and chips. When we were finished a new waitress gave us our receipt and asked if we needed anything else. I wanted to tell her we needed more water, but we were ready to go. I wish they would have filled up the carafe of water "before" I was about to leave. And..on top of that...no birthday surprise for my daughter. Some places sing a song or give a small dessert. The beers are experimental and creative with their beers making some pretty unusual beers that taste great! We have had three of their beers so far on two separate occasions and both times the beers were very impressive and enjoyable! One of the beers we had was the Thumb Ring. A Wild Ale that was excellent. It was aged on peaches, blackberries and coconut. Flavors featured with this beer are tartness, peachy, cherry and a hint of purposeful mustiness. Wit Bat was another beer we had. Also a Wild Ale this beer was wonderful also! Flavors to find with this Ale are tartness and jam like. The jam like qualities come from the marionberries and the Coriander brings it an extra depth. A very effervescent and elegant Ale. The third beer we had was the Earl of Tenmile. This was a Sour Ale with flavors of tart, sour, some sweetness and a clean finish. It is a blend of two and four year spontaneously fermented Ales. Such great beers and ales Draper has to offer and I would love to continue to explore with more of their beverage options which I hope would be in the near future.
