It is under new ownership and i ust had lunch at JD's on opening day. it was WONDERFUL! many times, opening days are very difficult. not here. the staff has it together. the food was excellent and came out timely. I had the potato soup and the French dip...I HIGHLY recommend both.... Far above expectation!!! read more

Had lunch here 11-25-23. The house is clean and roomy. I had chicken fried steak. It was really good and cooked fresh. Also had the Spagetti with a meatball. Very good as well. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great spot. read more

I took my wife here for her birthday and was really impressed. It was a Monday so was pretty slow. Service was excellent and the portions were huge. I got a salad and a cup of clam chowder. The clam chowder was really tasty. My wife got the special, which was chicken carbonara. It was a huge portion, probably enough for three meals. She enjoyed it. For desert we had the chocolate mousse cake. Very good cake and mousse icing Ali g with a top fudge layer. They even gave a generous portion of ice cream with it. I loved it.
