The food is excellent. We love the Farmhouse is one of our family favorites! The bacon is the very best. The sourdough bread is homemade and it's beyond incredible! Amy and Jill the servers are excellent and attentive! The restaurant is cozy and quaint! Sometimes it's packed on a Sunday afternoon, just after church lets out. It's one of our absolute favorites in Sandpoint! The lattes and coffee are superb. The little store inside is great for gifts. The Reuben sandwich is another one of absolute favorites! We ate breakfast at Di Lunas last weekend. The place was bustling and everyone was happy. We enjoyed both breakfasts very much and my wife especially enjoyed shopping for little toys and treats for nieces and nephews. A very nice lady owns it and hustles around the place making sure everyone is being taken care of if I lived in Sandpoint it would definitely be my go to place for breakfast. read more

My friends food was great although it did take a really long time. I've never waited for food that long, and there was only two other tables. I went there for my birthday, and I was really excited to finally get my favorite breakfast. It was the only restaurant in town that served that type of eggs bene. However I asked for the sauce on the side because I really like clean food and I like the taste of the food without sauces, and they poured sauce all over it. But it took so long and I was so hungry. I just tried to scrape the sauce off. They did offer to bring new eggs. The English muffin was not toasted, the spinach was not cooked, there was only one slice of tomato, and a few little pieces of mushrooms. But the sweet potato hashbrowns, and the poached eggs were good. Which they comped me. read more

A great place to eat! Today I took my three grandchildren to DinLuna's with their mother. All three kids were hungry and restless and the 1 yr old communicates by screeching loudly. The two women who served us were so understanding and helped us make sure the kids had what they needed to keep them and the other patrons happy! Lol The baby had made a mess under his seat And we apologized as much as we could and these two Ladies were so kind and understanding. It is hard to enjoy a vacation and a new experience with littles and when one finds a place Like Di Luna's it is worth my time to tell anyone who is curious about this place. Now let's get to the food. The coffee was delicious and brewed perfectly. The pancakes were fluffy and and very tasty. And we all loved the sausage patties which were ample sized. We're from out of town and came in for Sunday brunch. As we stood at the counter a waitress said hello to us, then carried on with her conversation with another waitress. As they discussed seating we stood there for several minutes only feet away from their conversation before they both turned at to seemingly ask what we wanted. When we told them we wanted to be seated the first waitress that said hello told us it would be "a long time!" The second said it would be at least 45 minutes. We would have been willing to wait had the staff had been friendlier and more welcoming. read more

A small little place, I can't believe I have lived here most of my life and never ate here before. I took my friend for her birthday lunch last Friday. It is a little quirky inside. They have a well-varied menu with gluten-free and vegan options. The service was good our waitress was very sweet and the food didnt take long at all to get out to us. I ordered the burger and it was pretty big pretty messy though. I thought it was a really good burger though. Best Reuben sandwich I've ever eaten! Good food, and friendly staff. The wait was a bit long, but I had no idea how good the food would be. Now I know that, I'll make sure I have a little extra time allowed for my next trip. I'd rather have good food. Dining out is a whole experience, and what makes the food here so good is that it is all made to order and from scratch. People that eat fast food all the time, or go to restaurants with quick service where things are premade from mixes or purchased premade and frozen probably won't like it, instant gratification doesn't mean good food. read more

We have been to DiLuna's many times for breakfast. I almost always order the vegetarian Black bean bowl and it it is always deliciously consistent. I feel pleasantly satisfied for the rest of the day! My husband tries a variety of their standard entrees and has no complaints. Yes, it's a little old and cavernous inside but charming too. I love their gift store items. Sometimes service can be a little slow but I know that ahead of time so I bring something to read. The wait staff are very courteous and do their best. In years past dinner concerts were well received and great fun!! Food is farm fresh. We love DiLuna's. read more

We selected Di Luna's to cater our small wedding. The selection for both the appetizers and the main course was surprisedly large and diverse. Everything we had was delicious, our guests were raving about the food and we enjoyed every bite. The service was phenomenal and the price was very reasonable. I left feelingcompletely underwhelmed and a little overcharged. I paid nearly $14 for the "signature Reuben sandwich" that was not filling and came with a small bag of potato chips. Plain deli sliced pastrami on marble rye for $14. My wife got a breakfast scramble which was equally underwhelming. They also make you pay before you sit down which is not a big deal but they also ask for gratuity before you've been served and once you sit down there's no service. They dropped our food off and we never saw them again. We couldn't even get our waters refilled. I can't stand places that ask for gratuity before service. We won't be going back. read more

Very odd dining setting. Mix of different types of tables, decor and carpet. The thing that really makes the place feel like a meeting hall turned into a cafe is the mix of lighting. Some track lighting, lamps, and even an old display case counter. Each had a different kind or color light. Gives a dingy feeling. The tables were laid out sporadically. Sat morning was rather busy for the cafe. Staff is friendly. Food was mediocre and slow. I ordered a single pancake and one side was cooked enough to make a sound when tapped with a fork. Wife's hash browns were soggy and poached egg was medium. Would love to see a small cafe like this make it but there are some really important things missing. read more

It was hard to find a restaurant open on a Sunday, which was surprising for such a touristy town. I had called to make reservations, but they were hardly necessary as when we arrived, the place was practically empty and the person who greeted us at the door really didn't care whether we had a reservation or not. The waitress arrived and had a really hard time remembering what the specials were, but she seemed to be lacking in most waitress skills that day. She was nice enough, just very forgetful. We had ordered mimosas ( at $3.00 they were quite the bargain and that day they had strawberry ones) and she "forgot" to bring them to the table. Too bad because they were so good, we would have probably had more than one round. The chicken avacado salad was nothing more than a chicken breast layed across some greens with a half an avacado on the side. Yawn. The chicken fried steak was greasy and looked pretty appalling. Our daughter's Boyfriend loved the double crab cake sandwich, but the portion was pretty small and he helped our daughter polish off her biscuits and gravy (also greasy). I think the best meal for the money on the table was our 7 year olds pancake, egg, and bacon. For all the hype, I have to say it was just average. Came here with my parents for lunch today and the food was pretty great. My dad said this Reuben was one of the best he's had and my mom's veggie hash was delicious. Most of the bread is made in house, and everything else is grown locally. I had a Yak burger and it was just ok. The meat tastes just like beef so I wouldn't necessarily get it if you are looking for something unusual. It wasn't bad, but I wish had I gotten something else on the menu. Only two vegan options which required omission and substitution. The brown rice quinoa bowl was decent, but could have used some spice and some type of sauce. The veggie hash with tofu and guac was good. Substituting tofu is $3 though... Which seems a bit spendy considering you can get a block for less than that. I believe their decaf coffee came from Evans Brothers and was delicious black. Would love to see more vegan options and/or easy reasonable substitutions like vegan breads, almond milk, vegan cheese, etc. The interior is also pretty dark and could use some updating. read more

There weren't many options at 9 on a Saturday morning, and DiLuna's was open so we stopped in for a quick breakfast and were not disappointed! I had the oatmeal and a Chai latte and my husband had a mint mocha and a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. Sounds like nothing special, but the bread was homemade and served with raspberry freezer jam. It looked like even the English muffin was homemade. The food was great and so was the service. Awesome little find during our adventure to Northern Idaho. The food was really wonderful--I got the country Benedict. It was huge and flavorful. Their gravy is on point. My only complaint was the service was really slow, I was beginning to wonder if they had to slaughter the pigs they were using for sausage in order to make the dish, since I had been waiting for so long. The ambiance is casual, nothing special. But I would definitely recommend the place to anyone coming through the area. read more
