What a delightful stay at this super sweet inn- thanks to my SIL for recommending it and making the reservations for us! It was a perfect getaway for hubby's birthday. When we arrived, I immediately partook in a warm homemade oatmeal raisin cookie and a hot cup of coffee offered in the lobby area, and my SIL & I sunk into the comfy leather couches to rest our feet. Wow- that really hit the spot after walking around Perkins Cove all afternoon! Our room was perfect. Beautiful views and the most comfortable bed (with the most luxurious sheets, btw!). The room came equipped with our own Keurig and fridge (with bottled waters) and Lindt chocolates, yum! Love the sliding pocket door leading to our bathroom and the cozy decor of the entire room. The Covid prevention at the inn was A+ excellent. Hand sanitizers everywhere and the entire inn was spotless clean. And even though we all wore masks, it was easy to see everyone who greeted us was smiling, especially Bruce! Extremely warm & friendly environment. I really LOVED breakfast and appreciated the ordering process: wipe-away mini menus where we checked off what we wanted to order. Brilliant! By the way- possibly the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had in my life! Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend! Our third stay at 2 VS Inn. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Freshly baked scones every morning (different flavor each day, White Raspberry, Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry). Breakfast starts at 8 and is also almost different each day (Potatoes & Peppers/Onions were the only thing the same...soo good!) Buffet service. Fresh baked cookies and free daily cocktails :) Rooms are nice, very soft sheets, great pool and jacuzzi. It's in the center of town situated on a hill so the views are great and it's close to everything! My fav thing to do was to sit on the front porch on a rocker with a cup of hot coffee. I'm NOT a morning person but being here made me want to wake up early and just relax on the porch. read more

We did a 4 day trip to Ogunquit with some friends, and booked our stay at the 2 Village Sq Inn, and every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. Bruce and his staff were extremely helpful and personable. Everyone repeatedly went above and beyond with their hospitality. The condition and cleanliness of the Inn was great, and the heated pool & hut tub is the best in the area. The hand cooked breakfast every morning was better than most restaurants, and the selections changed every morning. We've stayed at other places in Ogunquit, but this was by far the best. In the future there is no other choice for a place to stay. The only problem...there isn't a 2 Village Square Inn at other destinations we travel to. Everything else is a let down. Can't wait to stay here again. read more

Wonderful experience when we stayed here a year ago. Everything was great, top notch, with nothing overlooked. The free breakfast is so fabulous it's worth the stay all by itself, but the outdoor saltwater heated pool and large saltwater hot tub, both overlooking the ocean (since the Inn is high enough to overlook the town and see the ocean from there), with an urn of perfect wine or a mixed drink available, are amazing as well. Then there are the hosts. Fabulous, attentive friendly, and quick to address any need or concern. We will DEFINITELY be back. read more

This was our first stay in a Bed and Breakfast and also to Maine. This place and Bruce exceeded my expectations. The rooms were exceptionally clean, we booked late and the only room left was the small queen room but it was fine for us! Bruce was honestly the nicest most accommodating host I could have imagined and prepared the best breakfast I honestly have ever had. Location is perfect - right in the center of town, you can walk everywhere. The hill is a tough walk up if you have concerns about that. Sheets were amazing, pillows great, beds extremely comfy. Can not say enough about 2VSq. It is in a great location on a hill above the center of town, and with a view of the ocean to die for. Bruce, the innkeeper/host is fantastic. Such a friendly guy, he will take care of you no matter what. Breakfast is always a hit with us and the guests. Freshly cooked eggs, pancakes, potatoes, every day is different. Pool and large hot tub with gazebo is great when you don't want a beach day, or when you want to just sit back on the large deck and relax. Walking to town, 40 seconds, its that close! Beach 5 minutes. Stay at 2vSq, you will not be disappointed. Tip: Book Early. read more

Fantastic bed and breakfast! We stayed two nights in late October and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed in room #14 which had a spectacular ocean view. The room was filled with windows and I enjoyed the view from all angles. People do walk by the room to get to the main dining and office area but it was never a problem. There are beautiful shades you can pull down or up to cover as much or as little of the window as you like. Privacy was never an issue. Breakfast was delicious each morning and plenty of coffee was available either from the in-room Keurig or pots in the dining area. Bruce, the inn keeper, was kind and attentive and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. One afternoon we popped a CD into the DVD player that was in the TV and enjoyed listening to music while enjoying the wine and chocolate covered strawberries that were waiting in the room when we checked in. It will take something really drastic for me to choose any another place to stay in Ogunquit other than at one of the properties owned and managed by these guys. I'll just put it out there. There isn't a single thing that I don't like about The Inn at 2 Village Square. It all starts with the owners / the hosts. They are genuinely awesome people, salt of the earth as we call them. And they have put together something that should be an industry standard - for B&Bs in this case. From the moment you make the reservations, till the time you check out from the property - there is a 5 star quality that you are treated with - in every aspect of your stay and hence the fabulous experience. To sum it all up, I will not pen down the list of things that make this B&B and their other properties so good. And trust me, there is a list. All you need to do is check them out on their websites. The best Bed & Breakfast I've ever stayed at. We managed to snag a last minute cancellation for Memorial Day weekend...which felt like winning the lottery. And then we got there.... Every single experience at the Inn at Two Village Square (from our initial check-in) to our eventual departure was outstanding. If you are thinking about staying anywhere else in Ogunquit, call your hotel, cancel your reservation, and then call Bruce at Two Village. As mentioned in the reviews below, Bruce and his partner have gone out of their way to make sure that every aspect of your stay will be exceptional. The grounds and rooms are pristine, the pool and hot-tub are amazing, and the (complimentary!) breakfast served every morning is the icing on an already delicious cake. The Inn is perfectly perched in the center of town which allows you access to restaurants, nightlife, and the beach. Like my review of several Ft. Lauderdale resorts below, I think it's incredibly important to support business owned and operated by the gay community. The Inn at Two Village Square is at the top of my list. read more

Great host, clean room, comfortable bed, great location, great breakfast (buffet style with a main dish that is fresh to order), fantastic hot tub and pool, even had complementary cocktail in the punch bowl on Saturday. Our experience was that even the guests were great. This is an inn for adults, not for little ones. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow so definitely not ideal for people who have problems with stairs or walking up inclines. At night You can hear the piano bar but it's faint and didn't keep me up. Magically you couldn't hear the nearby club at all. Ogunquit is a lovely town to visit with a nice soft sand beach, quaint shops, good eats, and a lovely marginal way. We visited the stonewall kitchen on the way home. Overall great! read more

LOVE: beautiful house/space, really nice room (no hint of grandma), perfect pool area overlooking both the ocean, on one side, and forest, on the other, very sweet owners/staff, generous and very good b-fast in the a.m., a friendly crowd of guests (but enough space so that I did not feel intruded upon), and a perfect location within walking distance of anything we wanted to do while visiting Ogunquit. We got lucky when we chose the Two village inn as our honeymoon accommodation choice. The staff was so friendly- thank you guys for being so helpful in scheduling a last minute couples massage! Breakfast was phenomenal.... We are now craving scones on a daily basis (btw- we have not found a scone on our cross country trip back home that compares to yours), we also miss those sheets- so soft and dreamy. The bed and pillows were so comfortable (we had been on the road for a week preceding the wedding and stayed at several inns and hotels along the way- two village easily wins the most comfy bedding award during our epic road trip) it was the best night sleep- they even have a sound machine in the room and black out curtains. We felt like we were the first one's to sleep in this room, it was so clean. The room we stayed in was very cozy (small), but we certainly managed especially since we had the porch to hang out on. Excellent experience. It is not always easy to find a nice place that will except a medium sized dog as the third guest in the room- this place did and it was an absolute pleasure. We were greeted as if we lived there. The room was beautiful and the sheets so soft. I loved that all the TVs have built in DVD players and they have a GREAT selection of movies to choose from in the shared living area of the bed and breakfast. Couldn't ask for a more central location. One the expensive side especially considering the 2 night minimum, but well worth the money. Will visit again in the future. read more

My wife and I have stayed at about 12 bed and breakfasts over the years, and 2 Village Square is our favorite. So much so that for our babymoon I told my wife I would take her anywhere in the world for our trip and we both were in full agreement to return to 2 Village Square and Ogunquit. All the little things that make an inn like this an enjoyable stay: fresh water and coffee throughout the day; access to a microwave; peaceful rooms; wonderful breakfasts; a white noise machine to drown out noises of folks walking up the stairs; access to a nice heated pool and hot tub. The location can't be beat- you are right in the heart of Ogunquit town, but just off to the side and up a hill that it still feels remote. And the water view from the porch is just perfect! Depending on the time of year there could be sunrise views. It was the perfect relaxing few days. Bruce does a fantastic job making you feel at home. It may be a while with our little one on the way but we certainly hope to be back some day! read more

5 star service by Bruce the innkeeper! He is lovely and makes amazing breakfasts. This is not your typical bed and breakfast, although breakfast comes included in the price. You can wake up to a delicious homemade breakfast and eat on the wrap around patio, front porch, poolside, or in your room. Bruce made blueberry pancakes, French toast, waffles, and eggs on alternating days. He puts out fresh coffee and tea and has homemade iced tea and lemonade throughout the afternoon for when you get too hot at the pool. He also bakes amazing cookies each day for an afternoon treat! He really has thought of everything. We didn't even want to go to the beach, as we preferred lounging pool-side where we had access to fresh towels and plush robes each day. The staff is very nice, as well. The inn is adults only and is very quiet and private, set atop a hillside overlooking downtown Ogunquit. Excellent location, right across from The Front Porch. Really great time this past weekend. The staff are so friendly that it makes the experience. I even stayed in the cheapest room because I wanted a few extra funds to spend on friends' festivities, and they treated me like a family member. The breakfast is phenomenal - I mean phenomenal. I didn't eat again until dinner. The sheets were the softest upon which I've ever slept. Everything was clean and quaint, and the location was superb. I was able to walk everywhere - downtown, to the beach. There was just a little bit of noise Saturday night as revelers made their way back to their rooms, but such is the nature of a fun weekend. The staff really care that guests have great experiences. That makes it worth it to me. :-) read more
