If you follow me reviews, you that any fast food type entity will only get 3 stars unless they offer something unique. The Texas natives always told me I have to try this place if I ever pass by one in a small town. Am I a fan of the pricing? Not really. I can find cheaper ways to fill my body with empty calories. Am I am fan of their freshness? I very much like that the bread was soft and the veggies were crisp. Maybe they are taking produce from the Subway restaurant in which they share space with? The chicken patty was not dry, so that's a plus. The burger patty actually had seasoning on it. No bland patties at this place. The seasoned fries are decent. Rally's still have the seasoned fries game on lock. The ketchup bottle on the table felt like it was straight out the refrigerator. It was a cool contrast using the chilled ketchup on freshly hot fries. The workers are extra friendly and do not rush you with ordering. The entire place was clean and cool. I'm glad these hot Texas summers didn't kill their air conditioning. I like that you can add a Blue Bell ice cream cone to your meal to really cool off. All in all, I would stop here again. Are they the biggest sandwiches? Not by a long shot. Did they taste really fresh getting chopped into my belly? Yes, that experience did happen. Unlimited Pepsi product refills while you dine in helps with getting you full. When you download the app, you get a free burger with your $10 order. That's essentially the cost of a combo meal there. Ask about what special promotions they may have that day. The app is pretty user friendly. Having 8 choices of Blue Bell definitely makes for an enjoyable time. They get the fourth star because having Blue Bell as a finisher. I have to try their shakes next time. read more

Very nice employees and very clean. The burgers though, were so bland. Please get salt and pepper packets if you decide to get your order to go. My family and I got our food to go, so we didn't know how it was going to be, since it was our first time going. Absolutely no flavor. Such a bummer, I was looking forward to trying out their burgers and fries. Even their seasoned fries didn't have seasoning. Just all very bland. read more

I mean, based on the reviews, I thought this burger would be juicy and flavourful. Alas, I got a fry, flavourless burger with partially melted cheese and an uncooked bun. They only had seasoned fries, though their menu says they have plain and sweet potato. If you've had a Sonic burger, you've had a TX Burger. They're indistinguishable. read more

Stopped here on the way back to Houston. I got the patty melt combo. The fries are pretty good. They're thick and have a good amount of seasoning. It's a small place and only 2 people were working. Took about 15 minutes to get our food, but it was worth the wait. read more

The location of this place (combined with a subway) could maybe help settle the non-existent debate of burgers vs sandwiches. This place is a solid A-ok for their burgers. When in a small town, options are limited. Sometimes I want a burger, but do not feel like making it and cleaning up. This place serves an okay burger. I like the vegetables. The bun, while commercially-produced, is good, and it is big enough to keep the burger vegies in. Meat is not the best, but it is as good as Burger King or Whataburger. The fries are terrible to me. They have a load of orange salt. They cannot leave it off as they get the potatoes prepacked with the seasoning. read more

Hadn't even received the 2 burgers we ordered yet but decided to write this review while waiting. 1 star review based on the wait alone. In the tiny town of Corrigan, this place doles out decent burgers. There is a Subway sandwich shop in the same building too, so if you want a burger and your traveling companion wants a sub or salad, you're set. I'll give the burgers a passing grade, but won't rave. I have driven by this place hundreds of times on my way back and forth from Houston to my hometown of Linden. I had a little time to spare this trip so I decided to stop by. I was full before I stopped (hard to pass up chicken express in Livingston) but my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to stop anyway. The place is clean and fairly quiet as you can expect in a small town on a Wednesday night. The young lady at the register was friendly and greeted me with a smile. I ordered the spicy hot burger and it definitely delivered. The meat was real ground beef and not that frozen junk you get at the fast food joints. The peppers and spicy mayo have it an incredible burst of flavor. I would definitely recommend this if your ever passing through the lovely town of Corrigan. read more

Texas Burger is one of my favorite places to stop while on the road to north Texas. The food is good!!! Bacon Burger with those absolutely delicious fries are my all time favorite. It's definitely been there for a long time, but the staff is really nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good ole fashioned burger. read more

We were driving back from Jacksonville to Houston and decided to stop to get some Bluebell ice cream through the drive through on a family road trip. My 2yr old was sleeping and we thought we could skip getting him any. UNFORTUNATELY he woke up when my little dog started yapping. We asked the sweet lady to add on a single scoop cone when she handed us our receipt and not only did she give us the perfect amount of ice cream for my son - no charge , she gave us a tiny bit of bacon for our pup. Stopped by this establishment on my way to Houston this evening. Planned on getting subway but turned and seen Nolan Ryan beef was being used for burger so it immediately caught my attention, decided to have Texas burger for the very first time... it was one of the best burgers I've had in a fast food joint. Husband and I stopped in on our way back to Houston this past Sunday. Everything was ok until after we placed our order. After the girl took our order, she went to go sit back down at a table with 3 other young girls and proceeded to continue their VERY loud conversation complete with profanity.
