I put my clothes in at 10:14 PM to wash for 20 minutes then in the dryer for 30 minutes. By the time my clothes were ready, the doors automatically locked. I've seen another male showing frustration to trying to open the doors by force in which I did not step out of my car just for my safety. I sent a text message to the phone number provided (in which was never even looked at) explaining that my clothes are locked in and expressed my sincere apologies. When I did not get no notification back or even my message being read, I reached out and called that number. A male answered the phone stating a few things.: -" can't you read?" -" they open up at 6:30" (even though the sign say 6 AM) -" where in bed and not on the location, what do you want us to do?" Afterwards abruptly hung up after I inform him I cannot leave my clothes unintended even though I do have to go to work. I avoided on going to his level and didn't try to engage in an argument whatsoever. So I had to reach out to police to have a police report as a paper trail to make sure that I'm not trespassing because I have to sit out here till 6 AM in order to get my uniform out of the dryer. The service was so terrible that I do not wish it upon anyone. It was already a hard day getting off work late doing extra overtime, but the yelling & being very disrespectful had cross the line. This will be the end of supporting local or family businesses from me. The biggest advice: support black owned businesses, and avoid giving my hard earned money to those who mistreat, have the audacity, and a sense of entitlement to downplay customers. I forgive you personally because I don't want to have hate or any animosity towards another person so may keep my goals within reach to accomplish later this year. Their automated text system let me know my order was ready Thursday afternoon, but when I came in Friday at 1:45 a different employee informed me my shirt was not there yet, the truck still hadn't arrived that day but was due around 2. I popped back in a half hour later and she said she was still waiting on the truck but if I gave her my name she would call when my last item was ready. Not a problem. Got another automated text at 4:30 that my order was ready so I came back and walked in smiling. She said 'don't come in here cheesing, I told you I would call and I did twice without answer.' I laughed it off and let her know I didn't get any calls, to which she matter-of-factly read me back a phone number that was not mine. I said I was only back because I got a text, and since they are not open Saturday I needed the shirt before close. I would guess we would want our clothes, which we cannot dry clean ourselves, clean, pressed in some cases, and returned to us in good working order! Check! Superior Dry Cleaners service performed exactly those three things on my behalf with my two-piece suit. 2. I would guess we would want our clothing to be dry cleaned in a reasonable amount of time which I realize varies for all of us depending upon our needs. Check! Superior Dry Cleaners when I called at about 8:20 AM on a Monday morning told me "If you get your suit to us by 10:00 AM we may be able to get it cleaned and returned to you by 4:00 PM this afternoon." Intrigued, I asked "What if I drop it by after 10:00 AM this morning, when would it be ready?" The person replied "tomorrow morning." Check, Check! That is a day ahead of the event for which I needed my suit to attend. 3. I would guess the next item we would all really want is being able to receive exactly those services for a reasonable price. Check! I called around my area to five different Dry Cleaners of varying distances from my home but all within about twenty miles. A. I asked about when they would be able to have my suit cleaned, and back to me. Those answers varied from "this afternoon, if delivered by 10:00 AM this morning" to "next Tuesday" or eight days from now. B. I asked each of the five Dry Cleaning Businesses what my cost would be with tax for their service in cleaning my two-piece suit? Those quotes ranged from a little over $16.00 to $22. and change. C. I am sure you are intelligent enough to guess that the $16.00 quote resulted in an eight day wait for the dry cleaning of my two-piece suit, and getting my suit back as quickly as that afternoon, if I got it in by 10:00 AM was the highest or $22. and change. However, you would be wrong! Superior Dry Cleaning service cost me $20. and change to dry clean my two-piece suit. Is saving almost $2.00 a significant savings when you are paying $20. and change for a service you cannot perform yourself? In my opinion, yes, but your opinion is the only one that counts when making this evaluation! However, when I factor in getting my two-piece suit back in half a day to under 24 hours as opposed waiting eight days from the day I drop the item off, then, in my opinion, Yes! Check, Check, Check! 4. Now here is an varying human factor that some of us do not really care about, some feel neutral about, or some of us really enjoy, want, and appreciate when dealing with a Business providing to us, their customers, their service. That is a polite, respectful, personable, and efficient interaction allowing us all to move on with our day, and in most cases, feel the person we are interacting with cares about our business and that the Business they own or work with will provide exactly what we need done! CHECK, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK! For all these reasons, we, whole heartily (yes, my humorous, wonderful, exciting, organized, pristine and breathtaking beautiful wife was involved here as she volunteered to pick up my two-piece suit as she was already out running errands, thank you again, my love!) agree that Superior Dry Cleaners located at 22549 Wythe Hardee BLVD in Hardeeville SC 29927, directly accross from the Marathon Gas Station which also houses a Hunt Brothers Pizza at the Main Street traffic light and whose building itself looks like, you guessed it, a gas station building (which is only because this building formerly housed a gas station. Surprise, surprise, surprise, thanks Gomer!) offers an excellent result, is an outstanding value, and are wonderful people with whom we enjoy trusting our of dry cleaning needs too (Out of breath yet?
