I love that they keep their word on the time, and when they said it would take an hour, it didn't even take that long. I got both a full write up on what was good and bad about the car and a generous estimate on what it would take to fix the cars particular problem, and an insurance that if I bought the car, and brought it back, that I could get the repair done for less than what they quoted, then said "but you'll need that to negotiate better.". Thank you! While I was waiting on my car, I watched the chief mechanic bring the keys back to a young man who was there because of a brake issue. The chief mechanic said, it's $150 for the inspection of the brake system but I'm not going to charge you that because I think I already know what's wrong with it. It's a repair that's going to cost somewhere in the realm of $2,500, so I'm not going to charge you for the inspection, and here's your keys, you go on ahead and think about what you can afford to do. Wow. That was a kindness for a young man who probably didn't have all kinds of excess funds. It's nice to know that business owners still keep the big picture in mind.

The quoted price for a new clutch plus installation was reasonable and seemed like a fair deal...especially compared to dealer pricing. I often say that you can tell more about a business when things go wrong, because people's true colors come to the surface. This story has a happy ending, but it started out with a unforeseen problem. I picked the car up on a Friday and to make a long story short, the master clutch cylinder died over the weekend making the car inoperable. That item was not what was quoted on or replaced with the clutch, but is related. Why would I still give Randie's 5 stars? Because, Randie warranties his work and is incredibly honest. When I called him Monday morning he listened to what I had to say, and I was not too happy at the time. He then promised that the issue would be fixed... without costing me a dime more. He was personally interested in making this right because his name is on the sign and he takes pride in what he does. The solution included a tow to the garage and a brand new master clutch cylinder. True to his word, I did not pay a cent more, and the car drives great. Try to find another garage that stands behind their work like this... Good luck. I am now a repeat customer who feels like he is treated with respect, appreciation, and fairness. It is extremely rare to find these qualities in auto shop. After that the car AC stopped working and acting strange. Brought it back and was told to replace the entire AC system for another 5.5k. I was then referred to David Mai at Solo Motorsport by a relative. He tested it for a day. Found a coolant reservoir was bone dry. Cleaned it and filled it up. The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.
