Had an oil leak at the cylinder head. Finally found Rathbone a couple of years ago. Trevor and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and told me what had to happen (engine had to come out to fix the seals in the head). Ordered a complete seal kit and replaced all the seals in the engine, cleaned and adjusted the carbs, tuned, etc. Great work. The bike has run like a watch. Starts right up, no leaks cold or hot.

In particular, Eric in sales is without a doubt my favorite salesman I've ever dealt with about a motorcycle. They even did a little Texas custom logo on my air cleaner. Man, the work is awesome! Tore it down and put it back together again. I can't believe it's the same bike. They were super thorough, very knowledgeable and really friendly throughout the whole deal. I give them wholeheartedly 5-stars. Their prices were great and work was top notch. And all this over e-mail mind you. I've never met nor talked with them once. Final note that this was over the COVID-19 period. That's the sign of a great shop doing great work.

It was close to work so I got over there fast! The guy who worked there was real knowledge cable and help me pick out the perfect helmet and a bubble shield. I knew absolutely nothing about buying a helmet other than what I wanted it to look like and left with exactly what I wanted! You can beat that! The price was average but I cant complain about the service and convenience of the location. I would totally go back here for any motorcycle accessories I need. Ducati Austin let me down. Had a recall on my V4r. I texted their customer correspondence bot on…read moretheir web page which ordinarily met with a pretty quick response in the past. This time no one replied. Several more texts, and nothing. I sent an email to Service, and still nothing. This I admit, was unusual. So I ultimately emailed again and cc'd one of the owners. That response was quick with a referral to their service department to schedule the recall work. The service department never replied. Finally I called and they said they had to order the parts and they would call me when the parts arrived. That never happened. So, I decided that this response probably was indicative of the level of work they would have performed.. I took the bike to Plano at European Cycle Sports after they responded right away, had the part in stock and took me the following week. Great service and great team. I purchased a new 2025 Desert X while I was there and they even delivered it to me. Could not ask for better service. I'm done with Ducati Austin.

He handled it perfectly assuring me he would address it and take care of it and thanking me for bringing it to his attention. A textbook example of how to handle things. Handled properly a problem can be turned into a positive experience and interaction with the client. Well done! I then went to the clothing department searching for a specific shirt that was showing sold out and discontinued on the Harley website. I had called Harley Davidson.com checking to see if there was any way possible it was still available and  no luck (It matched the colors of my new bike and I really wanted it). Tanya in your clothing department noticed I liked a particular style of shirt and said she would make me aware of other shirts that come in matching that style in the future. She and I talked and I explained my "dilemma". She did a computer search of dealerships showing that exact same shirt in stock. I did have to make a few calls but was able to find that shirt that I REALLY wanted. It made my day! Thanks for your assistance! I then went to talk with Frank in parts about my bike I just dropped off for a stage 4 kit install. He made me aware of some new parts/products I might be interested in since the bike was going to be getting worked on anyway. He explained to me the benefits/advantages of the newer/better performing parts that just became available in contrast to what I currently have. He also helped me with a return. I really liked that he was not trying to "hard sell" me; just educate me on the advantages. People do like to buy things but don't like to be "sold". He has also gone the "extra mile" for me finding other dealerships that had a product I ordered that was on backorder. Thanks for all your assistance! You are greeted outside by a very real looking woman mannequin. The shop is in a small looking house but don't let that fool you. There is a lot of leather goods in there! I went in for a pair of brown leather chaps which are very hard to find. He had 3 different styles. The shop owner helped me pick out the right size. I bought a pair of nice chaps with removable liner. I felt the price was very reasonable. They take Visa, MC & Discover but not AMEX. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for high quality motorcycle leather at a very good price.

When I needed a new coat 2 years ago I went to see Jeff. When I needed to get a zipper replaced I went to see Jeff. He isn't concerned about just making a sale, but he seems like he wants to make a customer. He helped me get warranty replacement on my broken jacket zipper instead of just trying to sell another coat, and I appreciate that. Jeff has always taken care of us, and as long and I'm buying cycle leathers and he is selling them he always will be my destination for them! I encourage you to go by and check out his shop.
