I purchased two hot stone massages for my (adult) daughter and I to have together as a her birthday present from Groupon. Life got in the way and I booked the massage last week it was available. When dealing with the owner, I found that she was not accommodating at all. She gave me no options for extending the Groupon. ( I was actually able to extended with the Groupon site at the last minute) On the day of the actual massage, I encountered downtown traffic and was running several minutes late, I called and asked if I could possibly reschedule and she AGAIN, offered NO other possible resolution except to say no, and that I would be charged anyway. I understand policies; however, what I do not understand from someone who bases her entire business on providing stress REDUCING services why she was not willing to offer any sort of alternatives. I have never written a negative review before but this situation has me so infuriated that I wanted to warn others to just not bother with Krystal or this business. I am out $50 and am annoyed with her lack of communication and customer service. read more

First off, I want to just say that I am one to get spray tans almost every week, and quality is my number one! I used to say that the mystic tan machine was good at a good price, but there were so many times that I needed to be re sprayed because of the streaky finish, and not getting all angles of my body. The color just seemed to not be sticking to my skin, and always did I look orange no matter what I tried to do. Now my prayers have been answered! The custom spray tan that I receive at Back and Balance is nothing I've ever experienced. Whether you need a deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, cupping, or anything in between, they have you covered and will deliver excellent and professional customer service.
