He didn't fix it properly, and it kept running that resulted in depleting our water supply. He was called again, and he denied that he made any mistake. He blamed our water pump; saying that it needed to be replaced. He was not professional and asked the men in our house hold to help him lift the pump up out of the ground. He insulted one of the men by saying that he needed to put on 'His Big Boy pants.' Fortunately, this task was abandoned as all three men were not able to lift the pump out from being lodged 60 feet under the ground. This is a dangerous task that could have damaged our pump, and the men who generously agreed to help Zain early on a Sunday morning. Tight and Drilling was called and they told us the problem was never the pump. The problem was that he didn't fix our toilet to begin with. More recently (1/28/26); Zain was called again in a pinch when all of our water sources stopped working. He told us our pipes were frozen and broken and needed to be replaced. He charged $350 for four different visits. He fixed everything except our Kitchen sink. Only hot water came out, and then we found out it was leaking in the basement. We had another contractor arrive, and he told us our pipes were never frozen. In fact they were clogged, and fortunately he was able to rectify the matter. We thought to give Zain a second chance; that is why we called him a second time. Do not make the same mistake we did.

Family recently bought a house with hot water heater that stopped working. No hot water, pilot…read morewould not light. The technician came right away but he called the owner even though I had specified to call me as person on premises waiting. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the issue in about 2 minutes. It turns out he installed the unit and had been out the year before for the same thing (there is a safety that often goes out in very hot weather). This could have been done over the phone. Nothing about it in the manual. I was charged $95 just for him to pull into the driveway, and another $98 to push the button. I was never asked if I wanted him to light the pilot or was informed of the charge. I felt a bit blindsided. Very nice guy thought and quick response; I would have them back but will get the charges on the table next time before anyone touches anything.

I told him we were not overloading the circuit since we had moved several things off that circuit onto the two dedicated lines which he had installed. I asked if this was a fire hazard and he said no, just keep unplugging things. I week later we discovered an outlet in my daughter's room that was not working. I called Thornton Electric again and they said they would send someone out and call before they came. They never did and a week later our house burned to the ground. We lost everything and this man has not been held accountable for anything.
