BE AWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!!!…read more I brought my car (Hyundai Sonata) in to have my air conditioning system looked at because it wasn't blowing cold air let alone cool air just air. I had a thought of what it MIGHT be, but I wanted to have it looked at to discover the root of the problem. After like thirty or forty minutes they told me it was low on Freon. So I'm no expert I just have experience with cars' AC systems and what could happen over periods of time, they could reload the Freon and I be on my way in about an hour, they also offered to clean out the tube to clean out any mold that might be there, but I respectfully declined, they waived the diagnostic fee of $185, I paid $504 for the Freon refill, and I was on my way. Now a week later, my car's air conditioning was starting to blow cold air only on the passenger side and now just air like it did before I had the Freon refilled. So I took my car to the dealership and asked for a diagnostic of the air conditioning system along with a safety recall and we had an answer. It turns out it was the AC evaporator, which was the initial problem because they did a full check. What I mean is that in order to get this figured out they had to run dye through the system to find leaks and remove the windshield and dashboard in order to find the problem. Now this Goodyear, their technician ran dye through the system and DID NOT advise me further about it possibly being something more. When I brought this to them, they did not take me seriously, acted like they saved the dealership an extra step, and told me that they do not do this kind of extensive check because they don't like to throw parts at their customers or due to the size of my car (I have a Hyundai Sonata it not huge but not like a coupe or a Fiat), they also said the dealership cheated on their diagnosis because they used their dye that was still there in order to find the problem, and because of them waiving the diagnostic fee one of their guys did not get paid properly (and based on the technician's response to that it sounds like it had happen before). The technician that was helping me took the quote from the dealership and worked the numbers to beat the quote given and the best they would do was $300 less than the dealership which was almost $3000 and they could do it in one day instead of two days which they probably thought would seal the deal with me and the fact that the manufacturer's guide says it only takes less than a day. All I could think was "NO WAY", they already tried to hide an issue that they decided not to check despite putting dye in my car to check it but refused to touch the inside of my car to possibly find the issue before I even spent the money, when they also claimed their AC technician is the best in the company, well you're not touching my car again and potentially squeezing me for more money. All they cared about was citing their own policy and gloating in the fact that the dealership "got help" from them because they had already put the dye in my car to find the problem.

We then spoke with Jose at the desk who went out in the downpour to get the dimensions, confirmed they had a compatible tire, goes into the shop and immediately returns to tell us they will take car of it right away. We were beyond elated with their outstanding customer service. Fredrick swapped the tires and even took the time to restock my spare. Okay, the damage was significant and I am not knowledge one car mechanics to dispute the total amount. And so I left the car there to be take taking apart inspected and properly diagnosed, and for the claim or bill to be sent to the insurance of the driver who hit me, all the while I was driving a rental. After seven days exactly I called Classic Collision and ask them about the status of my vehicle, margarita informed me that they were still waiting on Geico ( the fault drivers insurance ) To respond to the amount due for the services. I was furious that I had not been updated within at least 48 hours of GEICO's lack of communication. So then I had to pay out-of-pocket for my rental to be extended, and deal with The guy Insurance, who eventually ended up responding to the claim as a total loss, since they did not want to cover the damages. After Several days of communicating with agents from GEICO, I was able to have them agree to cover the cost, I work in the medical field, and luckily, I have some understanding of how Insurance is work. Thank goodness for that, otherwise I would've had no choice, but to put my faith into Classic Collision, who did a horrible job with communicating with me and the insurance.. The second and current problem that I still have, is that they did not properly fix my car door, prior to this accident the driver door would function properly. And after the accident, the door was not able to fully close, I even have videos left me driving through the car wash and water leaking in just stays after the car accident. I drove the vehicle back to Classic Collision's and show them, the manager there I think her name may be Michelle, she told me that it would be an out-of-pocket cost. So they basically receive payment from an insurance without fully doing the job. I was strongly recommend before choosing this shop, to do some research, and nacho sound reviews, because reviews can be filtered out by companies. But by real people, and their experiences with shops around town. That was my experience.
