I even confirmed THREE times that they were going to rotate the tires and they still didn't do it. I was taught to mark my tires so that I can confirm whether they were rotated are not. That leaves a reallly bad taste in my mouth. Don't offer something if you're not gonna do it. I thought about calling the business about the issue, but I imagine they would ask me back in to do the rotation and maybe some tech would get in trouble for not doing it in the first place and now he's upset, so I don't want my car to be in their hands again. I work in customer service, I know how people can be. Places to get an oil change are on every corner and now I will consider other places if and when my car needs attention.

Upon arriving, I was a little worried but that quickly faded. During check-in, there were the standard questions but nothing like what I had been through with a competitor of theirs. When I went out to do the damage assessment on the nearly brand new truck, the owner found a decent amount of damage compared to most normal people (I use to be a damage assessor). He also went over the inside components like the lights, radio, etc. Awesome experience. The truck was a 16-foot 2019 GMC with 21k miles and climbed hills like a dream. My wife drove my F250 while I followed in the box truck and except for needing to slow down in corners (expected), I was able to keep up without issues. On my first trip, I used a COMPETITORS 26 foot truck and they gave me an 18 year old worn out diesel that couldn't climb hills if it's life depended on it (35mph, really?). They had also interrogated me on my insurance when I opted not to use theirs, making me fill out additional paperwork with my insurance information and such. While I'm not in Oregon anymore, I wish this location luck. Their customer service and truck quality is so much better than their competitors.

Our salesperson, Ian, was professional and great to work with, but the confidence ended less than two hours later. While driving home over the Oregon Coast Range with my 7-year-old daughter, the transmission began slipping, hesitating, and violently jerking forward at highway speeds. A local mechanic inspected it, and Nissan later confirmed a major transmission failure. Worse, Nissan found clear evidence that the transmission had been previously tampered with, removing the factory warranty coverage and throwing responsibility entirely back onto CarMax. The Corporate Runaround: Instead of standing behind their "certified" vehicle, CarMax has subjected me to a week of exhausting escalation and dodging: Service Manager John (Beaverton): Has held the truck for 6 days without providing a diagnosis. He doesn't return calls, ignores Nissan's service department, and literally laughed at the mechanical failure. Operations Manager Elliot: Recited a rigid corporate script to explain why he won't help. General Manager Eugene (Clackamas):Friendly enough, but completely lacks the authority to resolve the issue. The "Solutions" Offered: CarMax has verbally offered completely unacceptable options, refusing to put any of their extensions or promises in writing: 1. A sketchy repair: Forcing me to accept a truck with a known history of tampering, zero Nissan powertrain warranty, and a used/rebuilt LKQ transmission (which Nissan mechanics advised is a dangerous long-term solution). CarMax refused to include a MaxCare warranty to offset this massive risk. 2. An indefinite replacement search:Waiting forever for them to source a truck from across the country, while expecting *me* to pay the shipping costs for their failure. They refuse to do a fair price exchange for comparable trucks already available locally. 3. The Refund Trap: They told me it will take up to 10 days just to get my cash back. The Bottom Line: Vehicles break, but the way CarMax handles it is the real nightmare. I was blown away the process with them was so easy. Floyd put me in touch with Geoff and scheduled me to have my bottom portion leather on my drivers seat replaced. Both them kept informed and updated with when seat cushion arrived and even asked when was a convenient day for me to bring it in. I was even more blown away they gave me a loaner car until part was replaced, I would have been happy to wait the 4 hours for them to replace the part. I can't thank Floyd and Geoff enough for helping this ordeal so painless and easy. I'll gladly drive my Telluride the distance and have it serviced there from now on, even if it's a drive. If they are that easy to work with, I have zero reservations they won't rip me off like the other two dealers would based on how they wouldn't handle the simple warranty claim. For the short version: FIVE Stars * I definitely give Accurate Mobile RV Repair Five-Stars in all categories. * I have already recommended Accurate Mobile RV Repair to my neighbors * Their service fee and mobile rate is within industry standards and reasonable * Multiple ways to pay through Zell, Venmo, PayPal, and a few others I can't recall. * Excellent communication and ease of scheduling For those of you that have tried to get a mobile repair person to come out, you know that it can take days before someone calls you back to schedule, if they show up, they are very late and they will not have the parts or correct tools to fix the issues. Complete Review: We recently purchased a new RV, and after spending a short amount of time in the RV we started noticing flaws in the workmanship and things that didn't function correctly. Since we reside in our RV, taking it into the dealership for repairs was impractical and expensive. I notified the dealership and they provided me with contact info for Accurate Mobile RV Repair. I left a voicemail for them and Karen called me back the same day. Since the repairs would be covered under warranty, Karen advised me of the process that is required by the manufacturer to get the work completed. I sent her a list of 14 items needing repair; everything from a cracked shower, appliance issues to missing exterior rivets. Karen is very competent and knowledgeable about the warranty process and pitfalls I might face. She was able to advise me what the manufacturer would require me to pay and what would most likely be covered. She also does all the scheduling and had a couple of great troubleshooting steps. Like clockwork, Josh the owner of Accurate Mobile RV Repair arrived and performed a walk through with me to review all the issues on my list. He asked questions and took photos of each item for a before and after report for the manufacturer.
