One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had. Showed up over an hour late. Poor attitude from the start. Were unprepared and unequipped to move all of the furniture especially fragile items like mirrors and TV. Very aggressive and careless with items in general. Dude snapped half of the hangers in my wardrobe and was dragging my clothes on the wet ground. Made everything dirty and muddy. Took much longer than necessary. Original Review:- I moved to Beaverton and I hired them for moving stuff from my uhaul truck into my apartment. When I talked to the owner Jim (503-857-3344), he listed me a rate which was well above the market rate for a simple unload from truck into the apartment, but since they were available on a short notice and I was eligible for a relocation refund I went ahead with it. The owner was initially very prompt in responding while making the reservation. The actual movers Eric and Joe arrived ahead of time, were patient, and did their job very well. They said they only accept cash, which the owner never told me during the scheduling. I didn't have cash on me, and one of them actually drove me to the ATM to get the cash. Kudos to the guys doing all the hardwork. I tipped them well. Now when I setup the reservation, I asked if the owner provided receipts, for the work and he said he would email me once I finished the payment. After the move and my payment, I have waited 2 days and after numerous calls and texts which were left unanswered, he hasn't provided me one yet, and I doubt he will ever provide me one. Unfortunately without the receipts, I cannot claim the relocation refund from my company. So basically a big bummer for me. From some of you reading this from your context, this might not be an issue depending on what requirements you need, but if you think about it, if someone is having trouble providing receipt for services, which is an absolute trivial matter, you can only wonder how he would handle complicated situations where he needs to take responsibility for damaged equipment or misplaced/mistimed moves etc, I'm almost certain you'll never hear from him again, just like his behavior with me. So be careful. DO NOT HIRE SERVICES FROM THIS PLACE if you don't have a simple move (like unload/load from your truck) and if you do, settle matters then and there, and don't make a cash transaction until your receive the receipt, if you need it for relocation reimbursement. There are other companies who are very professional and are much cheaper if you book in advance. This business owner doesn't even have his official email address listed anywhere, nor an official business address. If you call him, it will ALWAYS go to voicemail, but his voicemail says I'm currently busy helping another customer and I will call back in 5-10 mins. He will surely call you back quickly ****if you are a new customer**** after you leave a voicemail. If you called regarding a prior job, you will NOT get a call back. These are all tell tale signs of scammy businesses. I really do feel bad for the guys that showed up to help move. They did do a good job and get paid a small share from the full price. I think the owner is simply unlicensed or probably has some shady tax evasion stuff going on with his business, to avoid paper trail. Might have been the reason for not providing a receipt. If that was the case, he should've told me that he wouldn't be able to provide me a receipt for services when I made a reservation. Also, when he initially called me for setting up the reservation, he gave a completely different moving company name called Regus Moving. Who knows what other skeletons in closets he has. This moving company just failed to show up. failed to call back. while Jim was in Hawaii my wife and I were forced to load or truck by ourselves after Oregon Moving Labor Services failed to show up. After learning an erlier job was going late Jim called and assured me another crew would be an hour late, OK i can deal with that. well Oregon Moving Labor Services never showed Jim never called. so with time running out, and Jim not answering my calls, my wife, baby and i were left to load ourselves. my neighbor decided to help after seeing my wife loading boxes. He ended up in the hospital fron heat exhaustion, thanks to Oregon Moving Labor Services not showing up, Jim not calling and forcing us into a bad spot, We ended up paying medical bills instead of Oregon Labor Moving Services. We booked this company to show at 9:30 am. They didn't show. My daughter called numerous times and an hour later they called with way to many excuses as to why they didn't show. The best one was they didn't have my daughters number. Yet they read the text messages so they did have her information. I believe in total customer service and this company failed on both. The crew, led by Eric made for a difficult day. they touted that if they had 4 people the job would go faster. Within 90 minutes one of the movers simply walked off the job. At least 5 times when I went to the truck when there was very little getting done they were taking breaks (on top of the announced breaks). They simply drug their heals until they had the amount of time accumulated to make it a very profitable day for themselves. During the job they scratched the floor of a brand new apartment that had never been lived in before. I taped the interaction at their request showing the scratch and their comments to fix it. I have used this company twice now and it's difficult to find movers that are willing to come out to the coast. My move was daunting. My husband and i work full time l, so we chose these guys. They disassembled and assembled all the furniture we needed them to and worked tirelessly for 11 hours. Nothing broken, nothing scratched and super nice people. Highly recommended! read more

We moved this past Saturday and the movers were great. Jim was a pleasure to work with over the phone to help me get the date booked. He was completely upfront about the cost per man per hour. The guys did run a little bit late but they were extremely professional and they really busted butt. They worked non-stop. We had too much to take in one load so they helped us drop off and then reload. They didn't charge me a minimum amount of hours for going over what I booked. They took into account the late start and didn't charge me for it. I cannot thank these guys enough! I don't know why others are calling them unprofessional or rude when these guys were very professional, friendly, and made the move so much better. My Mom is down sizing to a 1 bedroom from a large 2. I have a rented cargo van, Adam and Garone from Oregon Moving Labor arrived on time, worked steadily for almost 3 hours and loaded the van as full as we could manage. We were supposed to move everything to our new apartment via a Uhaul and brute force, but as someone who has numerous autoimmune disorders I/we way overestimated what we could do physically and after loading the truck realized that there was no way we could unload it ourselves. We called around everywhere trying to find someone who could help on a massively last minute (this evening before 10p when the truck had to be back) basis; these guys drove from McMinnville into Portland and jumped into action. Our two-person crew was so patient with the idiosyncrasies of working with a fob regulated apartment building and had great ideas to make the unloading go as smooth as possible. Sean and Christian were the movers. Arrived 1.5 hours late "due to traffic". Had to prod Christian several times to "stay focused" as he was on cell phone texting, flirting with my daughter frequently and just standing around. Sean attended to business well. A $100 gift card I laying on the counter top disappeared. There was only my daughter and these two workers there. When I reported it to Jim, He states "I know these guys and their families well, they wouldn't have taken it". Well it never did turn up. And Jim did not attempt to reimburse me. I was asked to pay with cash which I did not want to do. Had texted Jim before hand "how do you accept payment?" No reply back. Paid with cash. Text Jim 2 more times asking for a receipt. No reply received either time. Jim comes across as friendly but after services rendered; no follow through. Jim is a scammer, and so are his two staff, Sean and Danny. It's my first time to hire a mover, and my husband is out of state. The 3-5 moving job turned out to be 10 hrs. They refused to use the furniture blankets, sheet protectors, stretch wrap, thatI bought. Most of our furnitures and stuff were broken when they got to the destination. The movers I hired to unload the truck can't believe their eyes! They encouraged me to get back to this group. Jim did not return my calls, emails, and text. He also refused to give me the receipt he promised he'll email to me. He also did not mention that he will only accept cash. Our belongings became trash because of them. I kept calling up to this day to no avail. Then I tried to use a different number to call him, and he answered the phone! He hang up when he heard my voice. I reported Jim and his team to McMiniville police station.We will also report them to Better Business Bureau. Beware! He will tell you he's been in the business for more than 10 years and will sound convincing. He wont provide any paperwork and receipt. Workers no background check. Heard them talking they were drunk and no sleep the night before. Took an hour break and told me I should pay for it. I can go on and on and on. I can also post the photos of the truck upon arrival to the destination and the damages. Please don't hire Jim's team. They are all over craigslist. Based on the investigation Jim is using two company name: jnjlaborforcellc located at 511 nw 21st Street, McMinville, OR 97128 Phone: 5038573344; Their website says:oregonmovinglaborservices.com. Good thing that happened was Jim had no choice but to get my debit card no and charge me an additional: $450 since I can only withdraw so much cash within the day. I gave his staff $600 cash after charging my card and he promised to send me a receipt for both charges but did not give me the $600 payment receipt. So the bank disclose to me his company name and website. Be very careful. Hire a legit movers. Don't trust these guys. They're scammers! read more

Any moving company can hire young, strong backs to get the job done. The difference with this team is that the movers are super smart, not just super strong. although we were only using their services to load our truck, they showed tremendous acumen in moving items, especially bulky furnishings, out of the house without scratching anything. What's more, they really knocked it out of the park when it came to strategically organizing the load. We weren't sure how much would fit in the truck, but they made sure everything was properly padded, secured and expertly fit. The true sign of good movers can be seen when you get to your destination, which in our case was 90 miles away. Even with a lot of winding roads and several rough roads, the load did not shift and nothing was damaged or scratched. The team that we hired to unload the truck even commented on how amazingly well fit and secure the load was. I will happily use these folks again and highly recommend their services. read more
