    I had a pre-booked reservation for a van and I had specifically declined the insurance, but when I…read morewent to pick it up they said the $15 Safe Move insurance was MANDATORY. The guy he king me in said it was on the direction of his GM and that it was their local branches decision to do so. I would have left had I not been on a tight schedule, so I was forced to buy something I did not want, nor had contracted for. This was a total bait and switch. Had I had time to go elsewhere, I would have. To top it off, the van was quite dirty and had dog hair all over the seats.

I'd purchased them just in case for frames and ultimately didn't need them. Their policy, and I was assured this upon purchase in Houston, is that they accept returns with receipt if unused. The gentleman at the counter told me I was missing a tie, which I never received, and therefore he wouldn't accept it. Explaining that everything was as I'd bought it (you can tell when a box is used, come on now) he replied "how can I sell that?" The exchange was so argumentative and off-putting. Ok, I suppose it's more difficult to sell returned boxes (??) but that's the policy and it was not adhered to. I left the frame boxes in the giveaway bin - what does one do with those if not moving - for some lucky soul who I doubt could tell they'd sat in a truck for 24 hours. Whatever.

PODS charged me 75 bucks for the driver to lie and say i said I wasnt ready. im out hundreds of dollars on movers because i hired them to help us unpack and keep the pod clear for the driver to do final pick up of PODS. When I called the first time customer service hung up on me when i was very calm and nice (like play the recorded phone call tape i have evidence i was kind and understanding. i fully appreciate customer service workers and was not trying to be rude.) i help people and seniors coordinate moves for a living. my next client needs 7 12ft containers. will NOT be using pods service i will find a more reliable company. also we have medical transport tomorrow so the driver bailing put my clients health at major risk. HORRIBLE COMPANY will also randomly put pods in wrong spots. drivers will cuss you out too. never again

    I have had this scheduled for over a month. Several chats with service and after plenty of…read moreconfirmation emails the service was changed to drop the POD off the following day. I have movers scheduled. I specifically chose to have the weekend to fill the POD and I am moving next week! Movers can't reschedule and now I'm stuck. This is absolutely unbelievable. I have emailed higher support and will remove this in the event my POD is delivered BEFORE tomorrow AM at 11 am. Chat support, which is the only support I can now use after freaking 5pm on Friday says it's over an hour wait and then says "good luck" essentially. This is crazy. I've used PODs before and never experienced this. I did everything right for them to just do me wrong at the literal last minute. Edit 6/21 - I have now had $1751 placed on hold on my account as a pre authorization. The dang POD service is for less. 3 separate SUCCESSFUL attempts and I keep hearing "Idt whas declinned". Well it wasn't and support chat has an option to leave a photo and they can't see them. Very close to putting a chargeback as now I have to wait 3-5 days for the void? What are you voiding if it was declined? This seems like a scam. Will use the other services in the future and I suggest any one reading this do the same. I'm getting close to not having the money for the drive and deposit to my new place. Very nerve wracking and not worth it
