When I called to complain I was given a lower rate but still a substantial increase. I find this unacceptable. I rented this unit after researching various units in the area and choose this due to the lower rate. I can understand a small increase but this is a rip off. I am extremely dissatisfied with this and would not recommend this at all. Beware when renting a storage unit. Apparently after you sign up with their promotional rate, they hit you with an increase, really leaving you with no option.

My experience with Metropolitan Truck Center has been extremely disappointing…read more Since purchasing my new truck from them I have been ignored, and continuously led on. I purchased what was represented as a brand new truck, only to find out the warranty had only about 13 months remaining out of the original 36-month warranty and the vehicle was put in service two years prior to my purchase. That is not what I expected when buying a new vehicle, and getting straight answers about it has been nearly impossible. No one has returned my calls or emails. On top of that, the truck is a tow truck and the sales man assured me multiple times when I asked and confirmed the truck would come with a tow sling attachment which is valued at $4000 as part of the purchase. The sales man Dominick confirmed to me multiple times it was included. After months of phone calls, emails, and follow-ups, I still don't have it. Instead of resolving the issue, I've been given excuse after excuse and promised callbacks that never came. The complete lack of communication is completely unprofessional . I've spent months trying to get these issues resolved, only to be ignored or told something different each time I speak with Dominick . This level of customer service is unacceptable. I gave Metropolitan Truck Center every opportunity to make this right, but instead I was met with delays, broken promises, and a complete lack of accountability. I would strongly recommend not using this dealer.

These people were not only fair, reliable and speedy. They worked with me and didn't charge me storage for the couple extra days it sat here. I would recommend these people ten times over. Thank you for incredible service. I sold the trailer and they handled my buyer with incredible class. A breath of fresh air in Cream Ridge !!!

I have been paying for a temperature-controlled unit for 2 years, and upon inspecting my beloved furniture, there was mold and water damage on a table and rugs. When Barbara looked at the unit, she said that she could not find where the water could have possibly come from (and even had the gaul to ask if the furniture was from a house destroyed from Hurricane Sandy!). She stated that the unit is kept at a temperature of 80 degrees F (which seems high), but what is the humidity level? She did not tell me. Then, when I asked for a written statement from her regarding the water damage, she said that there was no burst pipe or leakage...never stating where the water DID come from. This company is throwing their hands up and are very unhelpful to me. After being with them for about 5 years, I'm shocked that I'm not being helped at all. I can't wait to get my stuff out of there. SEPT. 2013 REVIEW: I have heard of horror stories when it comes to storage units, but I must admit: this place is beyond my expectations. Why? Because of the service by Manager Barbara. She is kind, helpful, incredibly knowledgeable, and all around lovely. She always responds to emails quickly and is there to help. The only reason why I gave this place 4/5 stars is because although I have a temperature controlled unit, some of my wooden furniture items have mold on them after 3 years.
