Took a booth on a quiet afternoon and had a seafood boil. Ordered shrimp, crab legs and clams along with adding broccoli... yeah I know ...enough for two. The snow crab legs and were good, cracked open the way they should, you peel shrimp clean and the clams small and tender like I enjoy. Bill was 70ish. Came here for dinner one night to mainly try the seafood boil. The seafood boil itself was average, however the wait staff did not offer us the other things that typically go along with it- ie. waste bin, gloves, bib, crab cracker, and had to ask for them. I would have been okay with just the waste bowl for shells but had to ask several times for even that and the wait staff seemed confused/ annoyed. The sushi and noodles we ordered were average. The restaurant itself is in a good location and the inside was clean. However due to service and as a place that offers seafood boil, I was hoping for a better experience. read more

The place was pretty busy. The staff is nice, but a bit scattered/confused. We waited a really long time to get our food. I noticed the table that was seated after us/ordered after us got the appetizer that i ordered. The table across from us had a party of 4. three out of the four got their food. the other guy sat there for a really long time before he finally got his food. When we got our food the rolls were tasteless and kind of mushy. the appetizer came at the same time (the waitress, apologized and explained the other table got our appetizer, because they ordered the same thing and it was a mistake. The crispy rice was not crispy at all. There was a lot of rice. like a blob. weird. I would never come here again for sushi. The hibachi the guy next to us finally got looked good and i heard him say it was worth the wait. I don't know. lol. The 2 stars are for the food being edible. read more

Sushi/sashimi fresh and tasty. Hibachi awesome. Lots to choose from, we had sushi items, surf & turf hibachi combo and a teriyaki bento box. The seafood boils were a hit at other tables. They do takeout as well as sit down. There's four booths and about 6-8 tables inside. Takeout seemed to be popular, I brought home a takeout order on a previous visit. Decent portions without being overwhelming. You can add a la carte to almost any entree. read more

I got the crunchy rice with salmon again and the bottom of it was burnt like charcoal black burnt I only ate the salmon. I don't even think it was fried it looks like it just sat in a pan with no oil in it. I've just stopped ordering this item from here it's so sad because no where else has it. The first place I ever had it was California and it supposed the be the entire rice cube it put in the fryer not throw in a pan and left to burn on the bottom. .... Ended up here after trying to go out for dinner on a Saturday night where the first place we tried down the road was packed, had a 45 minute wait for food and a 1.5 hour wait for to go orders, and not to mention the staff seemed rude, but I am so happy that was how it worked out. U House was the saving grace of the night. We were sat right away, staff was so kind, helpful, attentive, and the food came out in a really timely manor. The quality, portions, and taste were all amazing. We had the harumaki, spring rolls, and two hibachi dinners, filet and steak, left the restaurant super satisfied and with enough leftovers for another meal. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommend getting a bento box, everything was fresh and a nice mix of everything. But if you wanna get messy with some seafood get a boil bag, covered in garlic and butter. I went to Uhouse tonight, a place that I have frequented since they opened. The way that I was ignored by a new girl that I've never seen before with Harry Potter looking glasses mad me so upset. I stood by the Register awaiting to be acknowledged so that I could ask how long the wait would be and give my name. I fully understand the dynamics of a busy operation. The girl with the glass whom I presume to be the host was sitting people Ignored me while i stood there. I'm a tall woman so there is no way she missed me. I didn't want to make this about race but I kept trying to get someone's attentions as well as hers. No one else was standing by the Register but me. In walks a Caucasian lady with a bottle of wine. The girl with the glasses immediately acknowledged her and asked her how many she needed seated. The lady says two (which is what I had been waiting for). The girl with the glasses says sure follow me and waves her in the dining direction. I interrupted and ask the lady with the bottle of wine when did she get there and how long she had been waiting. I didn't want to make a fuse if she had already been waiting outside. Which she shrugs and says she just came in to give her name or see how long the wait was( same as me but AFTER me) the girl with the glasses tells her to wait and starts to look around for someone, when she comes back to my direction I said "excuse me" and she goes "no English" and points to the lady handling takeout orders by the sushi bar. I attempted to tell this young lady with the glasses several times that I needed seating and she kept says "no english" and points to the other lady. I started turning in circled looking for someone to help and the girl with the glasses hurries over to the lady with the wine and takes her to the back instead of me. The lady with the wine shrugs again and follows the lady with the glasses. I stood there in absolutely astonishment. I was asking myself if I was in the midst of a radical moment at one of my favorite eating spots. The girl with the glasses comes back completely ignoring me. I tried to talk to her again about sitting and she says "sorry no English". One of the male staff there with the eye pad walks up and I ask him if he spoke English. He says sure and I told him I was trying to get sitting for two. He immediately turns to look for me sitting in the dining area. Meanwhile girl with the glasses stood there trying not to make eye contact. I waved him back over told him about my experience and explained why I wouldn't be returning back. I can't believe this is how I was treated even after I gave this place another chance when everyone was saying their cards got hacked from this place a few years back. I just always took cash and still went because the food was good. My money is green. That is all that needed to be looked at. I'm polite when I visit and I tip well, that is all that needed to be looked out. They don't have to worry about me ever coming back and this place will forever have bad karma. read more

I think they are trying to do to many different type of foods so everything is mediocre. The staff if very friendly, but the food doesn't warrant a return visit. My family got a sushi roll lunch, a hibachi lunch, a kani salad, and tuna crispy rice. The sushi roll lunch was basically like getting rolls from ShopRite, nothing special, didnt taste fresh. The hibachi lunch was okay, but tasted like teryaki not a traditional hibachi lunch. The kani salad wasn't really seasoned so was kind if disappointing. The tuna crispy rice was the worst, way too much rice for the amount of tuna, not crispy at all, just like hot spicy tuna on mushy rice. Really disappointed, wont be returning. read more

Each time I visit we get to try something new and it's all delicious. Makes ordering so hard because everything is so good and the portions are big, always enough to bring home. We always leave pleasantly full. their Uhouse roll is my favorite! It has mango, avocado, and I think crabmeat. So tasty. The BentI boxes are also amazing! Bought a house about a block away and it was the first restaurant we tried. The sushi is very fresh and delicious. I also loved the beef negimaki which I don't see on many menus. I've only gotten food to go so can't comment on the sit-down experience. Overall very pleased. read more
