I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food I received for the price. Twice as much chicken breast as the usual teriyaki places give. The teriyaki sauce had good flavor. The salad dressing was so good. This one lunch special gave me 3 meals. Staff was super friendly. read more

So I've been here a few times before, and it's always pleasant. My sister and her family come here often and they love it. This time they didn't disappoint. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and gyoza platter ($6.75), the beef teriyaki ($6.99), the General Tso's chicken ($7.25), the orange chicken($7.25), and a 10 piece order of gyoza ($3.59). If ever there ever was a bad gyoza my nephew would know it, he hoards them like a squirrel. They are smaller than other places I've ordered but tasty nonetheless. Everybody got their favorites and no one was disappointed. I decided to try some something different than my regular teriyaki selections (chicken, beef & pork), and tried the Orange chicken. It was nice, sweet & tangy, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Mm mm mm! All in all with four entrees, one appetizer, and a few drinks the tally came out to under $40, and that isn't bad for 5 people. Bonus!...A free meal for every 11th meal bought with proof of free meal card. Plenty of parking...And super bonus!! The food is okay, but the service isn't the best. When you come in to order, the young man at the cashier doesn't acknowledge you- doesn't say hello or doesn't say thank you. It feels like i am an inconvenience by ordering their food. If you like spicy, you would have to pay extra ($1.24 more) for the sauce. Thats expensive. Won't come back. read more

I've been here 1-2 times per month for the past few years. It's a great place for quick, good food. Original Teriyaki, Orange Chicken, General Tso's are typical orders. Consistent and tasty. My wife and I enjoyed the Teriyaki (Beef and Salmon) very much - especially enjoyed the 'salad' on the side of the dish - it is a nice touch compared to other Teriyaki places in the area. A good price for a good portion. The food was fresh and the service was good. I don't give out many 5 stars....but this was a solid four star meal. My family and I used to be regulars at this local restaurant, but after repeated disservice to us and other customers, I will not spend my money there. The final straw came when we took grandpa to our once favorite place only to be embarrassed; we ordered the spicy beef only to receive the regular version; when we asked for a change, they viamitely told us we had ordered wrong; after a bit, they made another dish but when they came to the table with it, they made us pay the extra .40 cents for it! She stood there and waited while we stopped eating, pull out our wallets and find .40 cents. Ridiculous service. I go at least weekly, usually for pick up, always tip well, and never get as much as a smile or hello. This place is basically your standard teriyaki restaurant, with at least a few better/more notably good aspects. I've been eating here a fair bit now, and the food has ALWAYS been just great, but not nec. "spectacular". But actually, quite good. Its esp. good quality for what you pay for. The service is quite good as well. I'd recommend anything they have with noodles. I prefer yakisoba noodles myself. Their meat and noodles far outshines their pot stickers and egg rolls, which are a tad more mediocre/"standard", by contrast. But yeah, they also do well with customers in a hurry. Their drink selection is pretty ok too, but like restaurants of this sort, their drinks can be a smidgin pricy, of course. Thus, a good reason to just get water, etc. :-) read more

This place is just okay. Food is decent.. Although pretty salty. Better quality meats than other places in the area. Their downfall, though, is their service and all their weird rules. They charge you dime and nickel for extra sauces, you can't eat there if you order to-go, and they have signs on their refrigerator that say pick your drink before opening fridge. So many teriyaki places around the sound, but this on seems to have a solid base of quality. Everything is about the same quality, which is good overall...even the salad and rice was good. Chicken teriyaki portions were huge! Plentiful all around. Sauces are tasty. Not overly greasy. Priced right for what you get. I wish they had some California Roll.
